Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia!

@Anon87 i dont think we'll go mad but it's our first one properly together, (long story) so it'll be nice just to have dinner and watch a movie 😊

@professorastrocat i literally get ewcm all the way through my cycle. Some days way more than others, but i get it more than once if that makes sense? So not too reliable. Maybe better with temping at the same time but i havent done that. I go with roughly when the app says and pains in my side at the mo. But to answer your other q, i think you can ov without?

@2020wisher If you're 9 now (or thereabouts), I would reckon Monday would deffo show an accurate result - even Sunday (not that I'm trying to encourage you!).

I would rather test on a weekend so if it's bad news, I can mope around home and not have to face work, or if it's good news, I can skip around the house doing the victory dance. Might even flash the old boobs at OH again haha

@Hatepickinganame I'm good thank you. Haven't caved here either and I have 3 FRERs waiting upstairs, and about 20 cheapo one steps. I wasted about £100 over Xmas peeing on sticks so I've learnt my lesson.

Now I know though why I had to wait a week for the FRERs to arrive from Amazon! All you lot are bulk buying them 😂😂😂😂

@MimiArm i only ordered a twin pack today 😂😂 hopefully itll take a few days to arrive cause my willpower is almost zero. However oh doesnt like it when i test without him, he thinks its something we should do together so that should help me refrain over the weekend!!

@professorastrocat it took 2y of TTC #2 and I don't ever remember ewcm.

I did however get some around ovulation time this month ... super strange!!!

I'm keeping everything crossed for lots of victory dances all round and ultimate boob flashing.

I'm not holding out much hope. The cramping yesterday was unusual for me, so I secretly hoped. But I'm still spotting (according to Google, spotting isn't proper blood, so whatever you want to call it! Its blood but not period) and that's pretty standard for me this time of month. Usually happens on off until AF (sat).

I also feel really normal today (11dpo) compared to the last week. And my temp was slightly lower too.

@professorastrocat me too, everything will be firmly crossed for all of us. And ive spent all day googling CM haha if my oh saw my search history he'd think id completely lost it!

@2020wisher ok so supportive: doing a test now will satisfy your need to poas. And there could be a line!
Voice of reason: its too early, you'll just obsess over it if theres a squinter or you'll be upset if its neg even though it could still be a bfp a bit later, and you'll end up spending heaps on tests to try and confirm it. Both sides of the to test or not to test arguement 😊😊😊

Im pretty much symptom-less today. Nothing out of the ordinary at all! Its a good thing, right?!

It's been small lower back spasms, some short and sharp crampy shooting pains to both sides of lower stomach, still tender boobs.
Last night lay in bed was a wave Of nausea, lasted about 15 mins. A few minutes the same this morning and about 15 mins after I'd finished tea tonight.

Just don't have THAT feeling yet. Not even had the urge to test.

Day off tomorrow, booked in for a massage and facial but I can't wait to send him out to work so I can actually fart! 🙈😂

I think I need the men in white coats today. BBT low again, so I think it's highly unlikely for me now. Can't help but be gutted even though I told myself not to get obsessed! Convinced myself we can't be parent material and it'll never happen.

On the plus side- doing BBT prevents the urge to frantically POAS before my period is late. And saves money. And my next period (assuming Saturdays is on time- usually is) is due 28 feb, so I don't actually have to disembarke the February bus!

@paintfairy I don’t temp and don’t know much about it but I thought BBT low is good as it indicates implantation dip? Or is it because it’s low for more than a day you’re unsure ? Nothing is written off until AF is here

It'll dip for one day usually, yes. But should go up again. Mine is lower today than yesterday though and not much above the cover line now. It'll carry on slowly dropping until AF.

@paintfairy aw thats not true, it will happen! How long have you been trying? Fingers crossed af doesn't turn up and you get a bfp, and prove that all the signs can be misleading 😊 also if my next af is due the 3rd march can i still stay here?? Dont make me get off the bus 🤣

And as for me, CD19, 9dpo and af is due in 8 days.... not a single thing is happening. No symptoms at all, not even PMS which should be kicking in like a bitch right now. The last two months around now i get crazy sick, especially if I'm hungry, sore boobs, cramps and mood swings. Think my hormones levels are finally settling down?? (coil removed end of nov) either way i think my recently ordered FRERs will be sitting in my drawer gathering dust for another month.

Nah, stay on the bus. AF might come early anyway? Lol. March is nearly February. That's my DHs birthday incidentally!

And we have only been TTC 2 cycles. Lol. So really I can't complain. I know there are people that have been trying over a year, who are probably thinking- quit whining! I literally don't know how I'll get that far mentally though, I really do feel for everyone.

@MrsTwentySeven at the rate we're going we'll need a new thread anyway, isn't 1000 messages the limit? Were over halfway there and its not even feb yet 😂😂😂

@paintfairy i cant tag people using the mn tag thing, i just put the @ then type their name out myself and hope it works 😂 this is only my second proper cycle since coming off contraception and it sounds awful but ive always conceived so easily i really didnt think we would have to try! Im going with the earlier suggestion of lets all get drunk. It seems to work for other people 😂
