Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia! GrinGrin

What's your story?

@whatsthecraic91 wowza!! Speechless!

@Anon87 I actually wouldn’t mind triplets 😂 I’m nuts I know but I’d love to get through it all in one go as i would love 3 🙊 (yeah let me calm down and get the first BFP atleast right...)

Anon87 · 26/01/2020 18:38

@Wise0wl We had decided to go ahead back in August but he went quiet so I didn't go for the removal. I'd still throw in things about looking after me when I'm fat to give a nudge but when he gave the nod in a January I've had to try and stop myself from bombarding him with every piece of info I've learned.

I have shown him my Femometer to show him the LH results in pictures and numbers. Today, it had an article about the TWW and what to expect anxiety wise and symptoms if all is good. He appreciated that. If I told him my CM has gone from EWCM to Creamy he'd probably have something very important he needs to do right there that second and apologise he has to go so suddenly 😂😂

I do brief him over some of the stories and Q &A's I see on hear to keep his world open 😆

MrsTwentySeven · 26/01/2020 18:39

@Wise0wl I tell him but last few months he felt a lot of pressure and it did affect us tbh - it’s partly the reason why this is the first month of our proper try as I POAS and just kept it to myself.

paintfairy · 26/01/2020 18:45

I know someone that had a baby in October, she didn't know until she was 6 months! Drs even referred her to the hospital for gastric issues. Only through that process was it discovered. She already had a kid aged 4, so it's not like she had no idea what it might feel like. I did ask how did she not know (she'd been on drinking weekends and everything) and she was like- I don't know! I was tempted to ask about the periods. But then some people take contraceptives and don't have them. And my mum actually had periods every month when pregnant with me, until so far through. So? Confused Seems to happen.

As for it 'falling out', I can't work out if that really happens or not. But if it does- that's what I'm booking! Grin

professorastrocat · 26/01/2020 18:47

@Wise0wl my oh doesn't know I track ovulation etc. In fact this month we've struggled to fit in Dtd as we're tired, busy, and have a child...so this week he's admitted that it's felt a bit too 'scheduled' and he doesn't like that. Not sure what to do about that, as I just don't think it'll be happening as easily as 5 years ago just doing it whenever we feel (and more often being young and less tired...😂)

Wise0wl · 26/01/2020 18:55

@Anon87 @MrsTwentySeven @professorastrocat it’s so tricky to get the balance isn’t it! I am currently in the bath on MN because I think he’d find that weird. Also 😂 at discussing CM - that is definitely one thing that won’t be a conversation topic!

Hatepickinganame · 26/01/2020 19:01

So glad i found this thread, you guys are hilarious. Been laughing my head off catching up 😂😂😂

Anon87 · 26/01/2020 19:09

@Wise0wl I'm in the kitchen on here, he can have his footy.
I was on here at the side of him last night and he peered over so I turned it away and said mind your business.
I was playing, he knew that but told me I'm right, "It's ladies things" haha. He's deffo intrigued just doesn't want to be involved on the realistic messy bits.
Oh that leads me to him saying he didn't know about being in the room for birth 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Hatepickinganame · 26/01/2020 19:16

@MimiArm loving the tww link, some of the symptoms are hilarious "boobs sore on sides, but only when poked" same could be said for anything, right? My leg is a little sore, but then i have been poking it repeatedly 😂

paintfairy · 26/01/2020 19:22

@Anon87 lol! Where did he think he'd be?!

And I constantly prob my boobs to keep checking if they are hurting!

Hatepickinganame · 26/01/2020 19:28

@paintfairy i wont lie, i squeeze mine and think oh that hurts then shake myself thinking of course it hurts you just squeezed them 😂

MrsTwentySeven · 26/01/2020 19:41

Honestly you guys 😂😂😂
I’m so hoping we all get our BFPs and we can start a Facebook group or something because this group is just too funny to let go!

Wise0wl · 26/01/2020 19:43

Ha @Anon87 what did he say to that?!

2ww is brilliant - but just goes to show how anything can be a symptom if we think about it too much doesn’t it! Am trying to gear myself up to DTD this evening even though I’d much rather curl up on the sofa with a big bowl of crisps and ignore the fact it’s Monday tomorrow 🙃

Hatepickinganame · 26/01/2020 19:43

@MrsTwentySeven that would be amazing. This thread has kept me going all day, been in such a weird mood. Maybe that's a symptom?! Lol!

MimiArm · 26/01/2020 19:44

@Wiseowl I tell my OH pretty much everything as he doesn't seem to mind (either that or he isn't actually listening to me haha). When I showed him the static smiley face on Monday he got so excited.

Problem is, he doesn't take much notice when I tell how hard it seems to be to get pregnant. His response is always "ah, we will be fine, you'll see". I fear he will be in for a big disappointment if there is no happy result in a week.

@Hatepickinganame haha, the things on there are very funny. And yes, if you poke or course it will hurt! Mine are actually sore, but then I remember from times when I wasn't on the pill the pain being bad a week before AF. OH accidentally elbowed my left boob earlier - ouch. And one of our fur babies (we have 3 and 1 is nuts) keeps wacking his head off my boobs when he leaps on to sofa to get to me - again, ouch!

MimiArm · 26/01/2020 19:48

@MrsTwentySeven That is such a fab idea! I can only imagine the comedy continuing over progressing pg symptoms

notetaker · 26/01/2020 19:52

@MrsTwentySeven @Hatepickinganame I think we should get ourselves a thread in Chat. “Le Lucky Lot”? Or maybe, in homage to @MimiArm, “How do my boobs look?” 😂

MimiArm · 26/01/2020 19:53

@Anon87 re your OH's comment about being in the room at birth. I said to mine, "there's no way I'd want you looking down there when all that is going on" and he said, literally "Not a chance wee woman. That's like watching your favourite local pub getting blown up." 🙈🙈

MrsTwentySeven · 26/01/2020 19:57

@notetaker I love it or paraphrase @MimiArm “do my boobs look big in this ?” 😂

Wise0wl · 26/01/2020 20:01

@MimiArm that is just the biggest challenge isn’t it- the assumption that it just ‘happens’ after one time when it is much harder!

And also just cackled at your OH’s comment about being in the room at birth 😂 this thread has kept the Sunday blues at bay!

MimiArm · 26/01/2020 20:11

@Wise0wl Yes, totally. I know this has been said a million times, but it really is ironic that you spend much of your life trying not to get pregnant. I had no idea how difficult it is.

Incidentally, OH's other brain wave was "Lets just get really drunk. Seems to work for all the one night standers". There has to be some truth in that!

paintfairy · 26/01/2020 20:11

A group would be a great idea! Lol.

I'd want my other half there, but at my head! I don't want him peering down there. As if you can ever unseen that!? Shock

MimiArm · 26/01/2020 20:14

@notetaker @MrsTwentySeven 🤲🏻 Either of those suggestions would be funny!

Hatepickinganame · 26/01/2020 20:18

@MrsTwentySeven @notetaker @MimiArm in absolutes stitches here. Literally howling with laughter now. Good job my oh isnt here he really would think ive lost the plot!

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 26/01/2020 20:19
