Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia!

I’ve missed all the craic today! I have been a mad woman today and went crazy cleaning my whole house! Now I am making a massive chicken dinner 😁 back on the wine too 🍷

@Hatepickinganame @notetaker @MimiArm it’s a book that describes all the tests etc once PG and written by a midwife ....and of course the first page says “congrats on just getting your BFP!” ...well there’s £5.99 gone (unless ofc I get my BFP!)

@MrsTwentySeven it sounds good! And heres keeping everything crossed you now get a bfp! Here's hoping we all do 😊 it may be the crazy bus, but maybe the lucky bus too?!

I have to tone it down as my husband has already decided I'm obsessed, when I barely mention it to him! He'd likely not object to me flashing my boobs but I don't think he'd provide constructive help either! I'm crazy generally though and drive him nuts so I'm 'trying' to act normal. He has no idea that the parcel sat on the kitchen table is pregnancy tests.

At the risk of encouraging us all further in symptom spotting (😇), I've found a website where people that had their BFPs tracked their symptoms day by day from 1DPO. The logical part of me thinks it can't be possible to have actual REAL and not imagined symptoms from 1DPO but who am I to argue against 11 odd pages filled with lots of ladies listing their day by day observations ....

@MrsTwentySeven not £5.99 wasted, just good prep! I read one called "the impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant". Not sure I learned much from it to be honest but it was an entertaining read nonetheless

Yes we are all crazy together, I love it! @paintfairy I did the same just when we'd decided to start ttc with the box of pregnancy tests in the post, thought oh would think I'm nuts so claimed it's just make-up! I think he thinks we'll just leave it til a couple of weeks after af doesn't show and maybe take a test....er not likely, and anyway with all the opks too who doesn't love peeing on sticks 🤔

@MimiArm defo post the link so we can obsessively read and apply each and every symptom for the next week haha im have a weakness for symptom spotting even though i know its probably due to something else entirely! Definitely crazy 😇

@professorastrocat @paintfairy I can't even hide the tests as I use OHs amazon account 😂 So now his recommendations of products are all OPKs and FRERs 🙈🙈

@MimiArm no I’ve never been able to put myself through it before, but I did binge watch the Emma Willis midwife programme over the summer!

@MimiArm I actually have watched a few episodes when we started to get serious about TTC ...I have mixed feelings as I don’t want to see all these women in labour not knowing if I’ll be there yet anytime soon! But also oh my the reality of childbirth is something I think I’ll only force myself to watch when I have my BFP (🤞🏾🤞🏾) ....I’m so weird!

I’m glad it’s not just me that’s cracking 😂😂😂 I wasn’t symptom spotting but today I’m cramping so bad it’s got me thinking. Also have lower back pain and I’m bloated. Either PMS or.... anyway I have no idea what day I am, guessing about 7DPO.

I think with ds I bought a book on conception nutrition. It had some hilarious title like “eat yourself pregnant”. What actually happened was we both got fat on baby making muffins 😂.

Anyone taking wellwoman/wellman conception vitamins? Dh calls them his big balls tablets. He’s got a lovely way with words 🤦‍♀️.

Loving these posts, it takes the edge off ttc big time when you’ve got a place to call (crazy) home.
