Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia! GrinGrin

What's your story?

@MrsTwentySeven ha maybe ive completely got mine wrong and thats what is currently happening 😂 must. Step. Away. From. Google.

MrsTwentySeven · 25/01/2020 14:53

@hatepickinganame easily said than done right! I cannot stop googling things despite this being our first cycle of proper trying 😭
I have a due date calculator app already...so so sad! October 15th apparently ...ahh why do I do this

MrsTwentySeven · 25/01/2020 15:00

www.firstresponse.com/en/online-tools/how-soon-can-you-take-a-pregnancy-test

They tell me I can test January 31st...that’s only 6 more days...of course FRER will tell customers to start testing early and buy their product 😂 Though amazon prime £6...

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 15:11

@MrsTwentySeven nope will not order tests! If i have them i will do them probably the second they arrive. I did last time haha im super confused though i honestly dont know when I've ovulated so starting to think weve probably missed the boat this time.

professorastrocat · 25/01/2020 15:33

It's nice to know everyone else is as mad as me!! I feel like I won't be as bad this time with googling but you can bet as soon as I'm post ovulation (or whenever my best guess is) I will be googling away again.

@Hatepickinganame I didn't know a lot of stuff before and certainly not when I had my little boy. Here's to our fleetingly viable eggs, eh!

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 15:58

@professorastrocat its strange how new this all is haha specially since ive had 3, youd think id know. Google is my worst enemy, there's too many conflicting pieces of information. But i cant help myself. Its like my brain goes "well just try phrasing it a different way, youre bound to get the answer you want" and then im back on google haha

littletandme · 25/01/2020 16:24

@MrsTwentySeven oooh I like that FR link, it's saying 9 days for me. I do have some FRERs and some ICs waiting, hoping I can hold off longer than a week 🙈

professorastrocat · 25/01/2020 16:47

Just to be clear....if you use the clear blue opks....when you get a static smiley it's likely on average that the following day is ovulation day?

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 16:55

Hahaha @MrsTwentySeven @littletandme that link says i can take a test in 7 days!

MrsTwentySeven · 25/01/2020 17:41

@professorastrocat yep 24-36 hours later so pretty likely it’s the next day
@hatepickaname @littletandme yay that’s not far at all ladies - om gosh why is mine the earliest...I was always going to cave in anyway

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 17:50

@MrsTwentySeven just keep reminding yourself that tests taken that early are usually unreliable and its much better to wait til af is due as its more accurate. Can you tell how much ive googled today 😂😂😂 I'll be right there with you trying not to! Ive been cramping all bloody day, and i have that horrible af type lower back ache. All logged straight on my app 😂

MrsTwentySeven · 25/01/2020 17:53

@hatepickinganame you’re about 6dpo according to your app right ? Oooh it all sounds promising!

Ah I need to! I refuse to test on 9dpo as FRER is assuming I will ...because I think on a 30 day cycle perhaps it calculates you to OV earlier than I did...I’ll hold out atleast until 11/12 dpo😂

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 17:58

According to my app im 3dpo but i thought i might have ovulated monday (ewcm over the weekend and left side pains on monday) so could be 5dpo... im still have lots of cm so i could be completely wrong and im only ovulating now haha damn pcos!

Anon87 · 25/01/2020 18:20

I can't use predictors like that yet because my last period started 28th December with Mirena in place 😂

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 18:24

@Anon87 i started logging it from my first 'period' after having mirena removed (28th nov, first af in dec) even though it was super light the drs were adamant it was af so that was my starting point. Its only cycle 2 to be fair so its probably not that accurate. These cramps feel a lot like af cramps! My body hates me 😂

Anon87 · 25/01/2020 19:08

@Hatepickinganame I had a 2 days very light spotting on 22nd/23rd dec which I marked as a possible period and a bleed on 5th - 10th Jan which I assumed was withdrawl bleed from Mirena out on 3rd Jan.
All pot luck for me right now. Could murder a beer tonight aswell 😂

littletandme · 25/01/2020 19:11

@MrsTwentySeven when I fell pregnant with DD I ovulated really early, CD10/11 but had (what I thought was) a negative test at 10dpo! Then shared a bottle of prosecco with DH 😂 but by 12dpo my boobs were killing me so took another test and it was a BFP. So really I know I shouldn't test before 12dpo if that cycle is anything to go by!

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 19:23

@littletandme oh now youre back to making me wonder, i did wonder if cd10 was too early to ovulate but im guessing not! must stop obsessing

@Anon87 ah have the beer, could be your last for a while 😉

Posharmchairs · 25/01/2020 19:56

Always have the alcohol and nibble the cheese. I’m sure my ds was conceived on leftover wedding prosecco 😂
I think I might temp this month along with opk’s. Does anyone recommend an app? I didn’t even have a smart phone when I had ds Blush

Anon87 · 25/01/2020 20:11

Ahh don't tempt me. I read that it affects the "sticking" and I just want this done so I don't have to care about a period for the best part of a year and then get a mirena back in and not have to care for even longer 😂

Hatepickinganame · 25/01/2020 20:16

Really?? @Anon87 so many things i dont know! I dont really drink unless im going out so not one ive thought about googling. Now im wondering what affect my caffeine addiction will have on conception/sticky baby! More google abuse haha

whatsthecraic91 · 25/01/2020 21:02

Hey @Posharmchairs the bitch got me this afternoon ☹️

Sorry to see you here too @MrsTwentySeven

TTC #1
Cycle 14 🙃
BFP/AF due 22nd Feb

Ah another cycle, another bus.....

Big night on the town planned for 2 weekends time which will be ovulation time!! So dinner, drinks, dancing & hotel sex is on the cards!! Hopefully it does the trick 🤞🏼😂 Good luck all

littletandme · 25/01/2020 21:26

@posharmchairs I used Fertility Friend with my first but I think it's only useful for temping if you pay for the VIP subscription. I'm using Femometer this time round as you can add photos of your OPKs and it gives them a "score".

MrsTwentySeven · 25/01/2020 21:27

@whatsthecraic91 oh no I’m sorry to see you here :( I was hoping you’d stayed on January bus ! But it’s alright...new month 💪🏽❤️

@littletandme oh wow! I’ll wait till 12DPO then!

Anon87 · 25/01/2020 22:56

@Hatepickinganame I don't know how true, I only read it on a post on here.
A couple week without booze can only do me good anyway. It's not a great habit going to the pub every other night after work even if it is just one.
I still went to the pub after work the other night but lime and lemo. I've got more will power on that than I did POAS 😂😂

But like balls am I giving up my cups of tea 🤯
