Okay so new joiners just want to say I’ve not long been here myself and I just want to assure this thread isn’t normal this animated with negativity. Unfortunately we’ve had a couple of bag eggs join, who seem to only want to abuse and put other women down. Hopefully they’ll take the hint and leave and we can resume the the TTC posts. Everyone here is lovely and helpful and if you want to unleash some crazy feel free.

P.s I’m a serial tester 😂

Yea this is my 4th month on the mini pill, I don't take it at the same time everyday cus I forget half the time lol. I have gotten my period, sometimes twice, since being on the pill but this time it didn't show. My husband finishes inside every time we have sex. I believe around the 11th I experienced very light bleeding and cramping on the 16th-17th. If that was me ovulating late, when would you recommend testing? (Anyone can answer).

@SophomoreMama give it some time lovely. I did notice if I missed the pill I'd always get a period a few weeks later etc. I think your body is just adjusting so it will feel strange for a while trying to regulate the change in hormones and it's frustrating that all the symptoms are those of pregnancy too, just to make things more confusing.

Have some tests to hand if you want to check if you feel like you could be pregnant etc it might give you peace of mind if you're not TTC. X

I read somewhere the mini pill is only 92% effective!!

Thanks girl. I'm trying to be patient, lol my husband said the same. I only have 1 test left so I won't test again for another week. My hormones probably are still leveling out, this is my first time ever being on BC so it's all new to me.

@SophomoreMama not every pill suits every person, they changed the pill I was on and the new one gave me 2 periods a month! I was one of the worst for thinking I was pregnant on the pill. My period didnt always come the same amount of days after stopping the pack.

@SophomoreMama it's tough! Coming off it is no picnic either had so many symptoms of pregnancy which seem to just be side effects of coming off the pill ☹️☹️

Your body will get into a groove with it soon x if not go back to your doc for advice after a few more months maybe

I no ur not meant to go back to look at test after but my one from last night has a squinter on it I'm sure 🤔 currently sat on my bed shining my phone light on it at all different angles to see if I can see it more.
Think I better take myself off to bed before I pop an eyeball out 😂

@Mum2boyss I had that on 2 and they weren't squinters and I'm not pregnant I think it's probably evap. I have read stories of people who have had it and been pregnant but I don't think there's a link as I wasn't pregnant... depends on what kind of test and what colour the line is etc maybe x

It's happened with my son 5years ago but I have had a few were it's just evap line, so I no it's probably just thatbut u no when ttc this stuff sends u wappy and u cling on to tiniest little thing haha.
Going to do another in morning and see what that brings lol xx

@OkyDoke hopefully your transition off the pill is smooth for you x you could try tracking ovulation to see if and when you ovulate. I wish I had done that to give myself the best chance at conceiving straight away but I sort of just winged it. I'm now on cycle day 33 from stopping the pill as I stopped it the day I got a period as I had them still while on the pill, for the most part. I'm getting BFNs so dunno if I ovulated or not! Perhaps I did and we just didn't catch it. Hoping my AF comes soon but could be a while still heard it can take ages for the first one to come!

@Blondeandbroody omg I was exactly the same after coming off the pill! The side effects were unreal! I thought it was all pregnancy symptoms as well but I guess just a crazy change in hormones. I do enjoy being pill free now though ☺️

CD7 here! It feels like it's going so slowly (yet Christmas holidays are zooming by)! My last two cycles have lasted 6 weeks, so potentially over a month still to go! Though after this AF I've got little cramps here and there 🤷‍♀️ maybe my body is trying to OV a bit earlier for once!

I got pregnant really quickly after coming off the pill last time! I used the ovia app last time and will use it this time too.

So I've just taken an OPK, Randomly on day 34 since stopping the pill and I got a line?! Premom says it's low.

I am hoping it means I'm due to ovulate but at day 34 it seems so random!!?

Could it mean I'm due my AF soon tho?

I'll be happy either way to be honest I just want my body to do something it's supposed to so I can start having a realistic chance of making a baby!!

I'd love for it to mean I'm ovulating soon as me and OH have time off over Christmas so plenty chance to DTD 😂🥰

Any OPK experts out there that can advise?

@sojo44 it's infuriating!! One and the only plus side of my OH not wanting another baby after we have one together is that I won't ever have to come off the pill again!!

@Blondeandbroody you can get a surge on these just before AF so it could be either. I would carry on testing at least once a day in case it's ovulation x

@mrsio thank you lovely ❤️ I'll keep testing! Win win for me as I don't mind either way if it's ovulation or AF coming! It just means something is happening x

23 days. Was due on Xmas day.
