Testing Christmas Day / Boxing Day

Hi
TTC baby number one . I had EWCM yesterday , so thinking I’ll probably ovulate today or tomorrow ?
Going by Ovia I should be testing Christmas Day, but I think I’ll wait til Boxing Day just in case it’s a BFN I don’t want to feel down on a festive happy day !

Anyone joining me ? Or around that time , maybe Xmas Eve ?

Due to test on Boxing Day here!
I'm really going to try to be strong and not test early as I really don't want to be down in the dumps for Christmas!

I've got a toddler though so I'll definitely have enough to keep me busy!

Should be ovulating this weds/thurs.

Fingers crossed this is the month!

I'm due to test Xmas day. Grin I also have a toddler and going to be in at in-laws but it would be the best present ever! Everything crossed for us! Xx

Dreams of giving OH a positive test to open on Christmas morning are whirling around my mind while I try at the same time 'not to get my hopes up' 🤦🏽‍♀️😭 which is completely hopeless! X

My period is due on Christmas day.
I have had 2 MMC this year - both discovered at the 12 weeks scan and currently having tests done with the recurring miscarriage clinic (4 in total). I would give absolutely anything to get a BFP and finish the year with some good news

Im 15 dpo, but iv had pink spotting the last couple days, only there when i wipe not heavy enough for a pad etc.. so iv no idea whats going on with me atm

No way I would not be able to test beforehand, I have zero willpower!

Problem is the alcohol Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. I’m one of those who always drinks! Would be very suspect if I wasn’t drinking! And we’re at family houses all Christmas and new year.

What are all your plans to avoid alcohol if you get a BFP?

I'm sure of when to test... all mixed up cycle wise you think I've bought dodgy ovulation tests too 🙈 I'm going to most likely test in the new year.
Impatiently waiting for AF... according to my app I'm due Xmas eve if it's right. Who knows 😪

@LosingtheTTCplot luckily (maybe?) I’m not a drinker so it won’t be an issue for me , but can you sneakily have a non alcoholic drink somehow ? Or make some kind of excuse that you’re on codeine for a sore back or something and say you’re not allowed drink ? Lol

I think I'm ovulating today. Got a nearly positive Opk this morning so will see tonight. Dts yesterday and this morning but won't see DP until Friday now so hopefully I'll be covered.

@Whyhaveidonethis 🤞🏼 For you . I think I ovulated today as my OPK is nowhere near as dark as yesterday so I think hopefully we caught it yesterday by DTD. My OPK was almost positive yesterday and lots of ewcm , but today’s OPK is low and n

@Whyhaveidonethis whoops , too soon. And no ewcm so I hope DTD yesterday gave us more of a chance , as well as Sunday too. Only time will tell. Onto the TWW 🤞🏼

I had a miscarriage on the 4th November at 10 weeks 💔 started my period on the 30th November so now on day 12 of my cycle. My period should be due again on the 28/29th December so I am unsure when to test and what the most accurate tests to use are? I don't want to test too early and feel sad over Christmas but know it will be hard to resist!

@LosingtheTTCplot If I get a bfp, i think im going to say I've taken some cold medicine so can't drink. Will be glugging lemonade and tea.

@Peach7744 really really sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Test when you feel is right but maybe wait until 28th/29th as it's after Christmas and if that's when af due as it's likely your body will need some time to recover.

In feeling really ill today, think I have caught the flu. Throat is so sore but I strangely can't stop eating as I feel like eating is soothing it!
