Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

Awh I really really hope that AF stays away for you! Would you usually be quite regular?

I'm due AF between 27-29th, first month tracking with OPK and BBT and ovulation came earlier than expected so unsure if that will make AF come sooner 🤔 only my 2nd cycle TTC #1 and I honestly had no idea how complex getting pregnant can be 🙈

@fayy123 i feel ok that you. Physically I have healed emotionally I feel putting my energy into Christmas and getting another bfp is helping distract me!
I told my DH all about SMEP over dinner on Saturday & thought he'd be horrified - he's the exact opposite he's wanted to bed every night since so should be a fun cycle 😍

CD 21 so I'm done jumping on the man now, it's all about Christmas and wearing pyjamas as much as possible. I have actually lost track now with when we dtd, especially this last weekend, I know it was three times but I have no idea which days 😆
My other half came back last Wednesday instead of Thursday so I know ive done that dance around my ovulation, whenever that was!
It's been basically at every conceivable moment so all I can do now is wait.

Although if he was here today and tomorrow I would probably bd on those days just to cover all bases 💪

Morning Ladies,

I am 11DPO now and dying to fast forward the next 3 days! My temp is still high which is the most unusual of my symptoms as it usually declines by 11dpo. I try not to take too much notice of physical symptoms at this point as I have had them all before on months when af has come, but was very tired over the weekend and headachey and sniffly! Not many cramps but had short boughts of nausea... who knows eh?
I hope the rest of you are doing ok!

#TunnocksTcake when's your af due? Is it this time next week pretty much?

Oh my goodness, when are you going to test if your periods late? This weekend?

Hi ladies, looking for some advice. So i stopped mini pill 25th october, had a withdrawal bleed 26-29th november.. and 8 days later had another bleed, very light, didnt need a pad or anything, blood was pink in colour.. according to my app im due to ovulate the 21st.. iv been feeling nauseous, sore head, lethargic kind of feeling the last 2 days! I was wondering if anyone thinks the 2nd bleed could be ovulation or implantation bleeding?
Sorry if this doesnt make sense or sounds a bit crazy 🙈 im new to all of this!

The 2nd bleed was during when i shouldve ovulated btw! I put it on the app as AF which changed my date of ovulation to the 21st..

Sorry I skimmed read that and just saw your update. Could of been implantation bleed 👍

Or ovulation bleed. It certainly doesn't sound like a period as you'd just had one?

Just done a frer.. there's definitely a faint pink line 😐 cant get a good picture, can you see a 2nd line??

no I haven’t! I’m feeling cramps on the right and left! Don’t want to get my hopes up! And I saw the thinnest bit of blood when I went toilet last night! Only when I wiped though! 🙈 I’m going to wait for AF x

Hey ladies. Just wanted to check in i haven't posted in a while.
I have been enjoying a more relaxed approach this month. Not tracking anything. We have DTD quite a lot and we have really enjoyed it!! CD 17 here so still a bit behind everyone else. Cant wait for some positives soon!!

@Ange211 hi, welcome - I'm so sorry to hear of your miscarriages.. I also had one in October so have been trying to plan SMEP to keep myself occupied. Easier said than done and it can hit me at the worst of times (crying on a dog walk, for example!) but keeping positive that I will carry to term hopefully. How is SMEP going for you?

@fayy123 you must feel quite confused! Let us know if/when you do a HPT! Exciting - not to get your hopes up but I'm pretty sure implantation happens around this time which is why you've had a bit of blood maybe? I'm no expert though but that's what I've read/heard.

@Bunny2006 hi how are you doing with SMEP? And how's your cramping? It's hard to fit in DTD when you're both so busy. Keep us updated if/when you do a HPT!

@NCON keeping my fingers crossed for you and will be checking MN on Christmas day for a (hopefully positive) update!! :)

@ChampooPapi ahh we're just starting all of our BD but to be honest only managed CD7 and today (CD11), need to get on it more I think. Pjs and lounging around in the evenings sound like a dreeeeam! How are you doing?

@TunnocksTcake really so excited for you - all sounds pretty promising especially the high temps - I have been checking for any updates from you :). When are you planning on testing?

@Diamond94 I do see a line - sending cautious congratulations - please keep us updated and post progression pics! When are you planning on testing again?
