Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

Weird Question. My husband and I are trying to figure this out but need help! My AF was three days late and only lasted a day but had bright red blood. Then it stopped for two days and I saw light pink spotting when I wiped (TMI) .My AF usually lasts 5-7 days and is heavy but this is way different . My boobs are sore, I still have cramps 5 days later, I’m moody, have a headache and nauseas.I took a test 2 days after the bleed and it was negative. Should I try again? We would love to have a baby and would be over the moon to be pregnant. But unsure of what this is or if any one has experienced something similar to this?

It has been so nice reading through and getting to know you (albeit in stalker mode! 😂). I am not following SMEP exactly, but we are on Cycle 2 of trying for our first. Current in TWW starting today!

Hi ladies, first post from me so forgive me if I've not got the lingo down! Just wanted to say hi as this seems like such a positive supportive thread. It brings me hope there are so many babies!
I'm feeling really down about the journey, it will be 2 years we've been trying in june. Had no positives at all. I have two DC already so I'm very lucky, just one last one to round off the troops. Both kids were conceived 1st or 2nd cycle so this is truly confusing. Had a complicated c-section with my last so am thinking that may be the problem. Or that I'm now 38? Had all blood tests, AMH, sperm tests all fine. Also been doing acupuncture and fertility massage.
Anyway, am nervously hopeful for this month. Plus side of covid is DH and I seeing much more of each other so SMEP is more fun!

@Seafrontsky @Ltay2 hey lovelys, sorry no one has responded yet so wanted to assure you it is a really supportive thread, but the op is now pregnant, after a long journey as you will have read, so she is rightly taking some time out from social media/mumsnet, and when she comes back I would imagine she will be joining the pregnancy threads. She has been utterly fantastic, .so glad you've read the thread as it really does reflect the support she gave and the time she took to always respond to everyone.

I personally am now pregnant with twins and just completely knocked out by morning sickness so I'm pretty much useless here now too.

Also this thread is nearly full so someone needs to make a new one and carry on the smep torch and support going! Otherwise this thread will just go really quiet now as so many who joined have either got pregnant or taken a break from trying ect.

Start a new one and make another amazing womens support network going. It'll be immediately put at the top of the trying to conceive threads, and everyone will see it's a new one so anyone new will be more keen to join then one with only thirty messages left on that was started in November or whatever.

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all well and safe! & congrats on the BFPs such amazing news! I’m officially 3days late now and tested this morning and it’s BFN. I have a very regular 26 day cycle and have never been late, I’m pretty much kno when the second AF is about to hit me. I’m just confused at the min, and I’ve had no sign of AF coming. I’ve been getting twinges in my pelvic area and sensitive boobs. Also had a bit of a UTI around the time of ovulation but that’s now all cleared up thanks to Cranberry juice. Has this happened to anyone before? X

All good here - currently 3dpo but haven't fully been following the SMEP. We DTD Saturday, Sunday & Tuesday. According to app, ovulation was Monday. I've not been testing or anything this month, just taking a more relaxed approach. And for the first time ever in my life, I've noticed ewcm hahaha I've had it pretty much the last 6 days so I'm quite hopeful this month xx

@Niisa it feels like it is going quick! I have my dating scan soon. i had a private scan just over a week ago and everything was ok but im still nervous about this one!

Fingers crossed for you! I only DTD twice believe it or not and the dates they gave me at my private scan means i got pregnant 2 days after i DTD 😊 xx
