Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

@fayy123 yes! im tired, im spotty and i keep getting weird twinges in my stomach like a baby kick too!(i know its not🤣) Mine is sometimes creamy and then sometimes watery, fingers crossed for you!🤞 are you going to wait to test? Xx

@Shazzzzz yes I’m deffo going to wait! AF is due next Tuesday!! Really don’t think I’m preggo tho😭 I’ll keep dreaming for the mean time! do you normally get discharge throughout your cycle? It’s so hard to tell the difference!

@fayy123 i have never took notice! The only time i remember is when its like a pinky colour meaning AF is coming the day after, but other than that i dont think so! I keep having dreams i am then day after i have a dream im not! I dont think i am preg this month but never know could be lucky for us!🤞 even tho ive had an BFN!

@sojo44 hello, ahh it's hard not to symptom spot. I'm on 3DPO now and every little thing I may think is a symptom I'm telling myself no, don't do that to yourself, probably not pregnant! When are you going to test? X

@lunamoon1 hi, I'm 3DPO according to my temps. I also ovulate late, can be up to CD33 which is a drag! 🙄😞 how are you getting on? I can't remember if you are following SMEP to a t this cycle? X

@Lucy5546 hello, I don't think anything is TMI on here! Glad the sex is amazing haha, keep us updated on your journey. So excited for you! I bet you are still in shock! How long were you TTC? X

@JoesM12 hi and welcome to the group! 👋🏻 good luck for SMEP this cycle. We have some graduates already which is amazing, I love seeing BFPs on here, brings me lots of hope. Keep us updated! Also congratulations on your wedding x

@ChampooPapi just checking in with you. How are you doing? A lady on here sent me this quote and I wanted to share it with you - May the tears you cried in 2019 water the seeds you're planting for 2020. X

So I'm now 3DPO apparently (although one app is saying I'm 9DPO - they lie!!) I'm not going to test until a missed period, so in 10 days time 🤞🏻 hopefully the daily sex has done it, you can't say we didn't try! 😴

@danielasummer I think this weekend but maybe start with just an cheapie (I'll only be 10-11 DPO then). I'm on CD 26 and 8-9 DPO but since my last two cycles have been 45 days I have no idea what's happening this cycle 🙈! Super heavy sore boobs but that could just be Post OV hormones. Yayyy for OV!! How are you feeling? X

@sojo44 how did you track ovulation? Sorry if you've said before, I'm trying to keep track of what everyone's said but I'm finding it hard as so many of us now haha! Fingers crossed for you, let us know how you get on. So glad I ovulated, didn't know if I would this cycle! I'm a very late ovulator 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm feeling fine, have a few things happening in my body but don't want to symptom spot, and worried that if I write them in this post I will jinx myself..yes, it would seem that I am officially crazy! X

@danielasummer i wasnt trying long at all. Came off the pill in october. So wasnt expecting it so soon.!!!

@danielasummer Amen to that sister! We can only do what we can do. Obviously that quote made me tear up, and imagine the 'seeds' as sperm of course 😏. I'm now in my most fertile time (pure guess work from CM and that I am.abput half way through my cycle).

Partner back today so back to the daily sessions untill he leaves again Monday. I need him here right now so I can tick it off my to do list quite frankly! But he doesn't arrive for a few more hours yet so will go out with the toddler and eat cake instead , why not dam it.

Tell us about you please! You are not crazy and will not jinx it. (Although feel like I've just jinxed it by writing the word 'jinx')

October baby? Why the hell not. Positive thinking, I mean we are going to be either really happy or really dissapointed so might as well enjoy the hope part and be really positive about the outcome. Could even be a late September baby for you ✨👣🌈😏

Hope you enjoyed cake and time with your toddler! How old is your other LG?
I feel silly even writing down the barely-there symptoms that I have! Can't bring myself to do it. Probably definitely not pregnant. I really felt it last time, quite early on I knew something was off, and I don't feel that this time around.
I would love an October baby! Or a November one.. December, January, February, March, April.. May.. June.. July.. August.. September.. just give me a baby please!! :D (Not that I'm desperate.. much..)
I totally agree about being hopeful. Today I'm feeling warm and cosy and hopeful, this may all change on the 18th January but up until then I will carry this little ball of hope inside of me and nourish it but protect it from a BFN should it happen. I'll keep you updated.
On another note, Facebook. Frigging Facebook. I don't go on it much but have to sometimes to add things to my business page, but every time I do there is ALWAYS a pregnancy announcement. Like literally every single time I log on. Is the same happening to you? I deleted FB from my phone when I miscarried as I couldn't bear it, but I can't escape it from my laptop! And I've 'hidden' so many pregnant people that my newsfeed is practically bare! Gahh. Sorry for the moan.

@Shazzzzz so every morning when you wake up, after at least 3 hours of sleep, you take your temperature under your tongue and record it on the app. If your temp is low, you are pre-ovulatory. If your temp is high, you are post-ovulatory and in your luteal phase, then you can start counting down until you test (usually 10-14 days, varies for all women).

I use Natural Cycles to do it but I have used pen and paper in the past - went back to Natural Cycles though as I can't be bothered with all of the writing and line drawing! @danielasummer @Shazzzzz I can also vouch for Natural cycles! It’s much easier keeping track of it if there and it plots the graphs etc for you. Plus it tells you when to take an opk/pregnancy test. Definitely worth trying 😊

Ladies, those of you that temp, once your temp increases and stays elevated does that mean you’ve definitely ovulated? 🙈 it’s still confuses me 😂

@JoesM12 yeah pretty much. Here's an example of one of my charts from a few months ago (have no idea why I have two temp rises so ignore the first one - that happens to me every single month and I can't explain it...)

@JoesM12 it's really good isn't it? I've used it for years and really like it, first as birth control, then following a pregnancy and now TTC.

As @bluemoon2468 said, when you have 3 consecutive high temps above your coverline, the last low temp is the day you ovulated.

I might look into Natural Cycles. I currently use two free apps to plot my BBT graph etc, fertility friend and flo

Hi all hope you are all doing well. Sorry I've been quiet since my bfp announcement but just wanted to make sure it was real ha ha which it 100% is thank goodness 😁.

@Bunny2006 NC is great I think :) How is Flo? I also use FF to cross-reference NC and they sometimes say different O dates but the fertile window is the same on both! FF seems to think I have a LP of 14 days but NC thinks its 12-13 days. Oh well! Lots of DTD just in case haha.

@HE88 hi lovely, aw I'm so happy to hear that! So how far along are you? Have you had a midwife app yet?

@danielasummer I will be 5 weeks on Monday. No not had a midwife appointment yet only filled the referral form in yesterday so hopefully hear from them soon.

Keeping ok thanks. Trying to keep chilled in this TWW as I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant. Now looking forward to the next cycle really, will get on the CB digitals to give me peace of mind I think. x

@danielasummer I will do. I think I might get an early scan just to check everything is OK especially since I had a laparoscopy in October.
