Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

@bluemoon2468 im not convinced! 😫 Im gonna test again in the morning as i did this at 5.30pm and have been weeing all day so could be an evap line? Hope not!🤞

@Shazzzzz I see it to!! What are you feeling😭😭😭😭 I feel so wet down there but then again I feel like that when my period is about to start

@fayy123 i dont even know! I was messing about with my little boy so pretty sure i could of read it after the 3 mins and I have a feeling it could be an evap but im sure i read evaps are grey and this one is defo pink! Its so faint i will see tomorrow! 😭

@Shazzzzz i would try leave it another day or two to see if line progresses. Remind me how many DPO?

@Lucy5546 10 dpo, i will do another in the morning they are frer so hopefully wont be an evap line 🤞

@ChampooPapi re lots of sex, you're totally right. Have just kept BDing every day and tried to make it fun again. I've had 2 high temps now though so 🤞🏻 if another high temp tomorrow then I've definitely ovulated and we can take a break haha! Weird to think I may be a few days DPO already. I've been waiting for this for ages, on CD34 right now. How are you doing? Which CD are you on? How's the more relaxed approach going for you this cycle? X

@sojo44 thank you for that info - will look into it in a few cycles time if I haven't had a BFP, combined with the CB digi sticks I should be able to pinpoint ovulation more accurately surely. So you must be 8DPO now? How are you doing? It's good that it's not PCOS with anovulatory - you can still get pregnant naturally with PCOS can't you (I think) if you're still ovulating? Crossing my fingers for you. I'm also waiting for my referral appointment to the fertility clinic. Let me know how yours goes. Here's a hand-hold x

@Lucy5546 this is true. We are quite exhausted now haha so hoping I've ovulated and we can have a break. How are you doing? Have you had any symptoms yet? X

@danielasummer yes so happy it's not anovulatory! Yes 7-8 DPO now, small twinges, sore nipples but I think it could just be the post ovulation hormones and nothing to do with preggo symptoms, otherwise just blah with being back to work haha. How are you doing and feeling? fingers crossed for that third temperature rise! Massive hand hold to you too on the fertility clinic appointment!! Let me know how it goes xx

Tested this morning BFN 😭 think it was an evap line how frustrating! Im just gonna wait till AF is late so still hope but using an frer 3 days before im pretty sure im out this month 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Shazzzzz so sorry you had a BNF! FRER's are terrible at the moment I had exactly the same thing the other month, they used to be so reliable! Hopefully you aren't out yet.

Where is everyone at in their cycles? I'm CD10 so going to start BD as much as possible, I don't usually OV til CD19 so still a little bit to go!

@danielasummer im doing ok. Just trying to keep busy. Still kind of shocked. Feel a bit sicky the odd time but goes away when i eat. Im more hungry than usual. Not sleeping great and sorry if its TMI but i have an overload of CM.!! To the point where i think AF has arrived. And sex is amazing right now!! Although gimme another week or two for that to change.

Hope it’s okay for me to join! Sorry I’m late to the party!
My husband and I are ttc baby #2 since our wedding in Oct 2019. So we are currently in our 3rd cycle! We’re trying SMEP for the first time this month and hoping it brings us some luck. I’m currently on CD12 and usually ovulate around CD14-16 so hoping we get that positive OPK soon!! We have been DTD every second day since CD 6!

@fayy123 Yep! I shouldnt have but figured you can test from 5 days before and today is 3 for me, and with the faint line at PM yesterday i thought there would be a darker one at AM this morning but was completely wrong and now im angry for wasting a test 😡

@Shazzzzz ahh Dw you’re still in for a chance! Test again if AF doesn’t show up xx

do you get ovulation pain when you ovulate? It’s so weird because I felt ovulation pain on my right side the day after AF finished😭😭

@fayy123 i am going to leave it until i know AF is really late! The way i am this month i just dont get it... im so moody and angry, my OH looked at me the other day and i nearly rugby tackled him 🤣 i normally get sore boobs before my period and pains but none of that! So confused 🤷🏽‍♀️ and yeah i did in my right side was so weird! I never got a positive on an OPK though 🙈

@Shazzzzz omg I’m dying😂😂😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t have put that any better! I’m experiencing everything you’ve just said! I normally get AF cramps a week before as well but nothing! Just loads of discharge feeling wet type! 🤞🤞
