From what I've read scientifically drinking whilst conceiving doesn't affect your chances. If you drink heavily everyday then that's different as it makes you dehydrated, affects your cm etc

@nt1992 😂😂 leave him alone woman!! Yeah we pee from another hole but some sites say that some sperm will exit at the same time. I used a soft cup so the sperm stays up close to the cervix.

@nt1992 it's a menstruation cup people use when they have a Period but some use it to keep semen in place. It's rubbery material and you insert it sort of like putting a tampon in but further up.

@nt1992 you should try and pee after sex anyway it cleanses the urethra (pee tube from bladder) and prevents dtd mess giving you a UTI 😂
I always pee after DTD and you think it's all flying out of you but thoses mad swimmers must have found there way through me somehow.

I've just done 15 mins of yoga. I only started yoga at the beginning of the month and I genuinely think it's helped me relax and the sperm has had a much more tranquil environment to live in before meeting egg as I'm sure it's had to hand about for a few days 😂😂

@PandaPink @mellymoo86 I hate doing a pee afterwards incase I lose it all and it was a waste of time 😂😂

@nt1992 yeah it's def good to pee after but recently whilst ttc I haven't. I stick the cup in straight away and stay elevated for 20 mins then go pee. I need all the help I can get.

I read online that peeing after doesn't effect the chances of getting pregnant - the strongest sperm has already started its journey. Same with laying with your legs lifted, by the time he's pulled out the sperm is already on its way! 😂

@nt1992 I always pee after sex, I dont want to risk a UTI. Never done legs up the wall either 😂

I lay for about 15 minutes and then went to pee for this current conception (sounds so formal haha)

I done another hpt today and then told DP through guilt and I forgot I had promised I wouldn't do one until after I missed my period because we would do one together and now I feel awful now in my foolishness because it hasn't helped the 'doesnt want to talk about it right now' situation oh when will I learn to put the tests down!!!?? Even when you get the bfp you are still obsessed! The line appeared dark within 2 minutes today...I think I'm just about starting to believe something might be going on in my womb

@nt1992 Lol! I m always afraid of peeing after Dtd. I usually keep my legs up in the air but in this cycle i didn't do that. Just a change. I had thought of asking my sister about it. As she gets pregnant in one go! I don't know how people get pregnant so easily.

I have seen so many people getting pregnant easily with my sister's advice. What she says is, the position of dtd with your legs on his shoulder is the best way to conceive.

I used to always pee after DTD but now lay legs up for 15 mins, every little helps! I might look into the cup though @mellymoo86

@PandaPink dont beat yourself up about testing, we all do it. All will be forgotten once you're BFP is there for him to see too!

Morning ladies!! I missed some fun conversation last night by the looks of it!! I'm still here with no AF, up about 5 times in the night to get a drink, feeling queasy again this morning. Taking the day off work and hoping the doctor calls me back today. If I just had the negative test and no period I would be ok with that. But dont understand why it's making me feel sick!! Dr Google said it could be twins which put the frighteners into my hubby last night! I need to stop googling as the reality of it is probably a bug and no baby! :(

I would love twins 😍 But stay positive. have you got a blood test booked with the GP? What did the online consultation say?

Stay home and just relax, stress will make you feel worse too Chocilate and a christmas film 💕

@CiaraJ01 the online consultation just said that the GP will look at it today and be in touch so will just wait and see. I put plenty of info on it about my symptoms etc and asked for a blood test. They are usually very good so fingers crossed. I didn't want to take up an appointment yet so thought that was the best option.

Xmas films are definitely on the agenda today though!! I cant stomach any chocolate! I dont plan on getting out of my onesie unless I have to!!

@skygirl1983 I'm so jealous. I'm meant to start at 10am but have a temp in at half 8 so have to be in early 😭 So tired with this cold, it's almost gine but I've a pathetic cough that keeps me up at night. and I still havent packed 😭

Don't be worried about appts, if its needed or somethings potentially wrong (or very right 😍) then that's what they're there for!

@CiaraJ01 nothing worse than feeling rubbish at work! I tried working from home yesterday but just couldn't concentrate with feeling so rubbish. My boss knows I'm ttc so told him what's going on. He said no to worry about work and just take my time. I'm lucky to have good support there too. Will be sat looking at my phone all day waiting for this doctor though!!

Ah that's really good of him. Hopefully theyll be on it fordt thing for you! I'm hoping my day goes quick too 🤞
