I thin it's because we are thinking about it all the time. People who get pregnant by accident are not thinking about wanting to be pregnant so don't have the disappointment of not getting achieving it cycle to cycle compared to us whom it consumes from month to month so therefore when they do its a big shock and hence an 'accident' but statistically they will have DTD around the fertile window at some point and not gotten pregnant first time but not known about it because they weren't wanting a pregnancy or trying.
That's just my theory haha

Good morning all fingers crossed for some BFPs today. I disclosed my bfp to a close friend at work who made me do another test to confirm and I feel loads better now somebody knows. I'm suffering insomnia though so getting about 4 or 5 hours a night hence being awake at this time.

Them odds are slightly discouraging but I agree with those who fall on by accident - they've likely had sex 100 times and never got pregnant, they just never paid attention.

I havent brought any oPKs for my trip, did one last night and it was negative it was so low 😂 I'm back sunday so One day shouldnt hurt. OH was keen to DTD just incase though 😂

@Mum2boyss we try really hard to keep it 'spontaneous' too although my OH is super happy with my new found dedication 😂 TMI but I try send him 'ideas' through the day so hes ready when I'm home 😂🙈

Also PS. Glow app says I'll ovulate in 5 days (later than premon but why am I not suprised 🙄) BUT says today I've a medium chance of getting pregnant- FYI the chances in a percentage?? 8.1%

Like.... that's medium??? 8%?!

So apparently ovulation is tomorrow and this is the strip result for today, doesn't look like anything is happening. Cervix is very high wet and that high I can't feel if it's open or not. Never DTD last night but defo will be tonight🙄

The apps all say high chance of getting pregnant but I feel like I trust the strips more because it's actually testing your body? I'm so confused 😖

If I leave it for about 10-15 it's goes dark, does it still count after this time?

I've still got this horrible cold so hoping I'll make a speedy recovery. Doesn't really bother me as long as I'm better by early next week. I've started on the opks already as my AF has been off this cycle. Have a feeling I'm going to ovulate earlier than I think.

I officially don't understand what's happening with my body. I started AF two days earlier and finished Tuesday this week but been spotting since then. Today I'm bleeding more. To the point I had to put a tampon in and I have mild craps. WHATS HAPPENINGGGGG!!! I'm supposed to be cycle day 8 and done with this stage grrr

@Skygirl1983 I did a clearblue one and it says not pregnant. I have no idea what's happening today!! I should probably wait to do another test this evening or tomorrow. Im around 18 DPO, so that can't be good! I'm trying to make homemade ketchup THIS IS DISTRACTING ME!!!

@mellymoo86 how frustrating! Especially with your bleeding. Leave it a couple of days if you can.

@Skygirl1983 yeah so much drama! I think mine is a false reading. None of the cb tests show anything plus a faint line at this stage whilst bleeding isn't promising.
