I have PCOS and currently at 3 years my periods are all over the place and range from 34-38 days long And I seem to spot all throughout.
This cycle I’m on day 44 and haven’t had any spotting since finishing my period.
I’ve also for the last 5 days had some sort of sickness,stomach ache/cramps that feel somewhat like period pain as well as breast pains now and again like a quick shooting pain.
I’ve taken a pregnancy test today and it’s negative but for the last few days I’ve taken opks as I had a couple left and they seem to be getting darker with each one.
Could I be ovulating this late or maybe is this a early pregnancy and the hpt hasn’t detected it yet.
So confused and tired of waiting.
Anyone had similar experience?

PCOS cycle day 49, been ttc 2 and half years. I've had mild cramping (unusual for me normally have extreme cramping). My boobs have gone up a cup size in less than a week. I did a Sainsbury's lh test this week and thought I saw a vvvv faint line but have since read that they give false positives. No idea what's going on. It's so frustrating never knowing what's happening in my cycle xx

It’s horrible I’ve been up the last hour feeling so sick and have mild cramping.
I really don’t want to get my hopes up but generally can’t think of anything else it might be.
It’s angling not k owing how many dpo I am or when a period would be expected it’s literally one huge guessing game.
Hope it means something for you both.

@emcait07 I'm in the same position at the moment, my cycles are irregular and I had a early MC last month, this month I am sure I ovulated about two weeks ago, maybe just under, my OPKS have been getting darker the past few days? To what I'm sure is a postive (pics attached) I have also had a BFN now the last time this happened ( I don't want to get your hopes up) it did end in a BFP. The same goes for me with the period type aches and not so much sore boobs but random shooting pains... keep me posted!! Xx

Thanks for you message,yours do look extremely dark so fingers crossed for you.
Mine aren’t that dark yet but I’m hoping they continue to darken up.
How long have you had symptoms

@emcait07 the cramping has only started in last couple of days really... I think I'm nearly 14dpo so would of thought I would of had a postive on a HPT, are you going to test again? X

I have no idea how many days i’am if I even ovulated at all.
But tonight Iv had a lot of stitch type pains in lower stomach seem to be having them the worst of a evening and throughout the night for some reason also feel rather bloated But negative hpt again.
Also diarrhea sorry for tmi
When are you going to test? X

@emcait07 I tested yesterday and it was negative so will probably test again Tuesday.... will keep checking to see if OPKS are dark... I had symptoms last month before I got a positive the same as you are having.... a stitch was the main one x

@Emcait07 haha I'm exactly the same!!! Must of done 5 OPKS a day! Negative test though so isn't giving me much hope! Keep me posted if you test again?! X

I'm going to try hold off and test Wednesday. I have done an opk tonight and they are slowly getting darker.

I have pcos and actually had no period for 13 months and then conceived only found out I was pregnant because I would take a test every month since I had no period for so long I would take tests months, so I never had a period but got pregnant, after I had my dd my periods regulated so I'm racking now. It's hard and wait game sucks stay strong and I hope it works out for you. Also there are some ways to track ovulation through Basel body temperature, and changes in discharge and self exam of cervix ..good luck

Iv been having periods for the last 8 months very irregular and some lasting the whole month.
I’m not sure if I was even ovulating at the beginning I had lots of blood tests and none ever showed I was so I kind of gave up checking.
Hopefully this is something though I’ve woken up again in the night with insomnia and finding it hard to get back to sleep which is not me at all.
Also last night I had the worst sore throat felt like I had swallowed a razor blade.
I litrally have been having so many symptom that I hear a pregnancy related so I’m keeping fingers crossed.
Does anyone know how early after ovulation you can start experiencing symptoms?

@emcait07 I think as early as 6dpo maybe sooner? Have you taken another OPK, could you maybe go to the docs for a blood test to see if they can pick it up early? I've had another OPK Positive this morning.. have a really bad stitch like feeling under my ribs... I'm trying to hold off testing till Wednesday as I really don't want to be disappointed...

Have you tried Acupuncture for PCOS it made such a huge huge difference for me x

No Iv only ever had metformin for my pcos.
How many dpo do you think you are now?
I took a opk this morning don’t seem to be getting any darker but not any lighter either pregnancy test still neg.

Darker now then when I thought I was ovulating, but they have been this dark for four days now so it can't be ovulation... plus I am due on this week.... I don't feel sick which has always been a massive sigh for me so don't think it's going to end in a positive

Hey OP that sounds very similar to me a couple weeks ago. I also have pcos and very irregular periods . My last AF was on sept 15. I'm on metformin and clomid and took my clomid day 2-6 . I got fairly positive opks around the end of the month start of October with some ewcm and cramping on my left side . Presumed I had ovulated so we bd all those days. Tested two weeks later and nothing at all . I decided that instead of taking provera to bring on period I was gonna wait it out for a while and bot rush as dates would be very close to my wedding next year. In mean time I bough an ovusense and started using it . It was my first week using it and on the 8th and 9th of nov I had a load of cm when I removed it in the morn . Put it down to my body getting used to it . On sat morn I decided of do an opk ,not sure why but just said I'd start back. It was probably the most glaringly positive opk I ever did. Then I had a stitch in my side for four hours that afternoon and the monitor confirmed it the next day. I was shocked as I was convinced I ovulated start of october and hadn't had a period in between . So you could very well be about to ovulate .

Iv been having some sort of symptoms for the last 7 days ranging from all day period type pains,stitch in sides,nausea,diarrhoea,sore throat,waking during night and struggling to go back to sleep which is not like me,lots of Cm
Could all that really be down to me about to ovulate?
I don’t know when I do but I never get any of the above throughout the month apart from the odd period pains before af is due.

Have you tested again?
My symptoms have disappeared apart from a raging sore throat and cold.
I’ve run out of opk so haven’t tested to see if any darker.
Feel I got a it obsessive over it so just gonna try the wait and see approach something has to come bfp or AF

My cramping has stopped too, which is strange as I'm due on this week or should be

Testing today?
I still don’t have much symptoms anymore just this horrible cold and a gagging feeling.
I tested and it was bfn.

@Emcait07 hey, yeah I've tested again Only on a IC I think I maybe saw something but literally only when I shone a light behind! So probably not!

Opks still dark! I don't know if they would pick it up before a HPT....

My boobs are slightly sore and still getting a very occasional cramping feeling.... now also getting EWCM. No idea what my body is up to...

Are you still testing OPKS? X

I have PCOS and was told that ovulation tests are no good because the hormone imbalance makes them inaccurate.
