@Kiza definitely give it a go with retroverted uterus or cervix 👍

@whatsthecraic91 agree with you the last one is exhausting and seems a bit pointless a lot of the time. The others are more important.

@Anny27 yes we are the same I'd love to not have to plan dtd but realistically, I just don't think we'd do it enough either if I didn't have a plan in my head.

@Lozzlepop @timswifey positive OPK this morning! Three times in a row starts tonight 😬

@timswifey I use fertility friend and it counts down to test- it's the day after my period so sadly I've never made it that far or not tested early haha

@whatsthecraic91 I'm with the other ladies, we never manage the 3rd day... too exhausted!

@Lottiepink did the doctor call re the retest?
@Lozzlepop googling the consultant sounds like a great idea... I'm going to fish out my letter now to do the same! 😄

Report
Lottiepink · 19/11/2019 19:45

@whatsthecraic91 love the fact your sacking off dtd to wash your hair 🤣🤣 it is an effort, and one effort is enough when home later 😊

@Lozzlepop no which is strange, apart from starting the tests with doctors... I think it's odd, carrying on the LH strips just incase I get a second rise, my temps haven't fully elevated to confirm ovulation, but did shift a bit, so unless it's going to be an a an anovulatory cycle, which I've never had before... hope you are enjoying a chill night!

The doctor rang DH, it's not very good new tbh!
He has a very low sperm count, high PH level but he said morphology and motility seems good - but I'm getting a call back tomorrow to log down the actual figures. So it's just a retest in 6 weeks, but I think surely they would want you to maybe change a few things, otherwise what's the point?? Unless I'm wrong. You know what men are like with asking questions, so I will feel better when I get to interrogate them ha! There was no one able to talk to me when I finished tonight 😩😩

Anyone have any advice for me please 🤞🏻

Kiza · 19/11/2019 20:06

@Lottiepink good that you got some answers. It's peculiar how different areas do different things. Our GP didn't offer a retest for DP with his morphology results, instead referred us straight to fertility clinic as the GP said they wouldn't retest for 3 months due it taking that long apparently for new sperm to grow? 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Lozzlepop haha i would be googling them too! If i am honest i am not doing too good. Think the hormon changes, all the antibiotics i am taking and the fact we miscarried are getting to me a bit. I have cried prettt much all day. I am hoping when hormones settle and i have finished my antibiotics i wont feel so helpless!

@timswifey ooh i might use that app then if it counts down to when you test that sounds quite cool!

@lottiepink ahh not great but atleast now you have some answers and can work on increasing sperm count etc!

@orangeloo as we arent ttc again untill next period i am actually looking forward to having sex when we want and me not obsessing about making sure nothing "leaks" out towards the end haha!

Lottiepink · 19/11/2019 20:14

@Kiza that's odd isn't it. Was the morphology the only thing wrong with your DH results? I'm so sorry, I'm sure you've already said this before! I've got a terrible memory!

Report
Kiza · 19/11/2019 20:23

@Lottiepink it's ok, there's so much information shared on here it's difficult to keep track. Yes that was the only thing, his result was quite low at 1%. We did our own research and he made some lifestyle changes.
@Anny27 sorry to hear you're feeling so down, it's understandable though with everything you're going through. Take it easy and cry as much as you need.

@Anny27 Flowers

Think I’ll skip DTD tonight then! Said to DP when I got in there and he’s saying we should do it in the morning just to be safe 🙄 - really cba as I have an early start and it’s probably too late now anyway!! Away to wash this mop of hair before I’m a celeb at 9 🙂

Lottiepink · 19/11/2019 20:40

Aww @Anny27 so sorry to hear that, you are doing amazing and so good considering. Sending my love!
Thank you, I know, it's better to know, just a crap thing to hear I suppose especially for dh! Hopefully we can work on it though 🤞🏻

@Kiza was this the tomato purée? I think DH was only 2%, as he said something about a result should be 4% and he only has 2% but he wasn't sure what it was, so think it's low count and this too, I'll know more tomorrow when I get the call! He was at work so obviously couldn't comment too much without suspicion. He thought the morphology was ok though, but sounds too much of a coincidence with the figures I think!

Report
Kiza · 19/11/2019 20:49

@Lottiepink yeah the tomato purée due to the lycopene (although he's now taking capsules!). Apparently between 4-15% is 'normal' range for morphology but we will be grilling the fertility consultant when we get to meet her as it's confusing that 1 GP made it a big deal and 1 GP was really chilled about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Report
Lottiepink · 19/11/2019 21:06

@Kiza thank you for the advice. It's so confusing isn't it! Hopefully it's all helped. You got your date through? Again I'm so sorry, I'm sure you will have already said this 😱

@orangeloo woohoo! You go girl!

@Kiza haha did you find anything on your consultant? Mine does work for the private hospital here so that made me feel more settled!

@Lottiepink hmm that is odd, have you been ill or stressed? Good idea keeping an eye on things and hopefully you’ll get that temp shift! So do you have to try and increase DHs sperm count? (Sorry I’ve I’ve got this totally wrong)

@Anny27 it’s a really rough stage, allow yourself to feel sad if you need to, we cried A LOT! I still cry now sometimes- next week would have been our due date so it’s been tough in the run up to that! Talking about it with your OH and friends will help and maybe get something as a token of remembrance- we bought a rosebush. Don’t go back to work until you feel ready- I took almost 2 weeks off mainly due to scans and timings of appointments but that time helped me heal! Sending lots of love your way!

Traffic is really bad today when I really need to be at work early 😔 typical! Hope everyone has a fab day!

Morning everyone! Been getting in on a few other threads but as we are also TTC #1 I thought I'd join you lovely lot too 😁 I'm 24, DH is 32, and we are currently TWW'ing on cycle number 1. Thoroughly enjoyed reading through messages so far, you guys have given me some great ideas for next month! Sorry to hear about everyone who is having a tough time at the moment and sending lots of luck for a better BFP filled near future 🤞

@whatsthecraic91 your quickie comment did make me chuckle, we spend so long moaning about romance and seduction and then TTC happens and you think "just bloody get on with it!!!" Grin

@Anny27 yeah I don't blame you. I appreciate just for fun sex now when I'm not in my fertile week.
Sorry to hear you had a bad day. I hope today you are feeling a bit better? X

@Lottiepink sorry to hear about DH's sperm try not to worry too much as there's things that can help and it only takes 1.

Welcome @Shuckle you've come to a good place.

Thanks everyone - @kiza feeling less hopeless than yesterday but it will come in waves i imagine :) has AF finished yet?

@Lozzlepop thats really hard coming up to your due date ❤ will be thinking of you. Yep i return to work on monday after almost 2.5 weeks off so i am sort of excited to get back to normal

@whatsthecraic91 thanks for your support lovely! Onto the TWW for you then!

@orangeloo had a better day today thanks lovely

@shuckle welcome to the crew:D are you using any ovulation tests etc?

@lottiepink thanks ❤ how do you and DH feel about the results?

@Anny27 thanks!

Yes just used cheapies this month as I wasn't really sure I'd do it right to start with and didn't want to spend loads! Managed to get a really strong positive on Saturday (CD16) and have managed to DTD 3 times since Saturday so feeling optimistic! I keep thinking I have all sorts of symptoms and have no past experience to compare it to so it's all very exciting (and a little bit scary)!

Been convinced all day my left boob really hurts. Realistically I know at 3 or 4dpo there's no chance of symptoms just yet so trying to stay calm, eek!.

Lottiepink · 20/11/2019 19:05

@Lozzlepop I know, need to do another on test, I'll do it shortly (holding in wee for as long as possible 🤣) hope the traffic this morning didn't interfere with your day too much!
They haven't really gave us a strategy to increase the sperm just said the normal things cut back alcohol, keep them cool etc then we will be referred if the next one comes back as bad...

Welcome @Shuckle 😊

Thank you @orangeloo

@whatsthecraic91 haha that made me chuckle 😂😂

@Anny27 pleased you are feeling a little better, maybe getting back to work will help a little, a bit of a routine etc! We are totally gutted to be honest, but seeing in these treads, it obviously happens more than you expect!

Dr rang me, sperm count is only 5million and the normal is at least 37 million (or 39 can't remember 🤣) The movement seems fine but morphology is only at 2% and 4% is the lowest normal range, and PH was also higher than normal but not much... feel like a bit in limbo, but won't know more until the next test in 6 weeks 😕

@Lottiepink it's ok, yeah we got our date a while ago. It's 2nd Dec so only a week and half to wait.
The GP also didn't give us much advice re: morphology so we did our own research until our fertility appointment. DP already is a non smoker, non drinker, gym bunny so the only things he could change was caffeine (in his pre workout drink), bought big baggy boxers (which are hilarious!) started trying to de-stress his life and taking vit E, Coenzyme Q10, zinc, lycopene. We shall see if it's made any difference.

@Lozzlepop not a lot about her on the internet so will just have to wait and see. Yours sounds promising though!

Welcome to the group @Shuckle ☺️ yeah symptom spotting is the worst! Messes with my brain each time I do it and I convince myself I'm pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Anny27 all you can do is take each day as it comes. Starting back at work may be helpful in some respects as it gives you something else to focus on. Take it easy, AF is just about coming to an end. DP is away sun-fri so no SMEP for us this cycle will just have to cram as much in as we can when he gets home Friday next week!

Hello all,

If this is an active thread then I will join if that's okay ☺️

TTC #1
26 yrs old
Cycle 8 (or 9 if I don't conceive this month)
Roughly 28 day cycle

Currently with the fertility clinic due to unusual periods and blood work showing low progesterone on day 21 tests.

AF was due yesterday but that's a whole separate post 😅 I've had negative FRERs then I thought I had a squinter on IC but DH can't see anything. ARGH. 😖

Report
GalaxyGirl24 · 21/11/2019 08:16

Just reading through all of these messages @ValidUser I thought I could see a squinter on that test but I may also have line eyes as I've been squinting at my own all morning 👁

Also, @Lottiepink we have had to do 2 SA's for DP and they are an absolute nightmare how they set it up. DH absolutely hated it because were too far to do it at home and dash in to drop it off he has to book a room at the hospital and he says it's awful walking out to the receptionist and just handing over this cup of semen like some sort of oddball 🤣 we both had lots of blood work done also this month so we will find out results early Dec 2019 at our next fertility clinic appt.

Ok so I’m sooo confused. I am currently on 11, 12 or 13 dpo (I’m not certain on which day I ovulated as I took my temps a bit later around ovulation). I usually have a 12 day luteal phase. So that means af was either due yesterday, today or tomorrow. I took a frer this morning and it was a BFP.

I had twinges pains yesterday and my nipple has been super itchy. But I don’t feel like af is coming. I usually have a low mood and cramps and painful boobs but I don’t have any of that.

I don’t have achy or veiny boobs and my nipples aren’t darker which I thought was all the usual signs.

Sorry I don’t really have a question I just wanted to vent.

Also I usually spot for one or two days before af so on 11 and 12 dpo.
