@whatsthecraic91
No luck as such yet, had a faint line since I started using them but they barely seem to be getting darker at all. Been doing them about 7am and 7pm so maybe my timing is off although today is CD 12. They were a fiver for 30 but the reviews seemed alright.

I ll see if AF comes and if it does I ll decide whether to bother with the ics next cycle or try something pricer.

Lozzlepop · 07/01/2020 11:30

@whatsthecraic91 thanks for checking in, haha I thought it would hopefully give someone a laugh! Nothing yet unfortunately had a sore back the last 2 days and a bit of pink cm earlier so praying this might be it- really don’t want to take the medication again. Back to the hospital for a scan in the morning! How are things with you?

@KittieKath congratulations that’s fantastic after such a long time trying! I hope everything goes well for you ❤️

@1990shopefulftm I don’t get great early results on ICs (even though they say they are for early use) I would suggest taking a FRER if you have one!

orangeloo · 07/01/2020 13:34

@KittieKath huge congratulations! Thank you for coming on to share. I am on cycle 13 and yet to see a BFP so I do find that heartening and hopeful. Wishing u a happy and healthy 9 months X

orangeloo · 07/01/2020 13:40

Had tv scan today, again she said everything looks 'perfect' physically. so now just have to wait for my tubal patentcy test referral after another gynae appointment on the 21st. Everything is so slow guys and I got the last appointment in 8 weeks. Don't wait and chase if u need to would be my advice of the day. I'd be so annoyed if I hadn't got that last appointment today and had to wait 8 weeks for her to tell me what the ultrasound lady told me today anyway.

timswifey · 07/01/2020 14:44

Congratulations @KittieKath

@whatsthecraic91 no AF yet and it's now CD32. My previous cycle was 33 days though so still hanging in there. Not tested yet.

1990shopefulftm · 07/01/2020 14:50

@Lozzlepop sorry I meant ics as in cheap opks. I m not going to test till AF this month so a cheap test would hopefully work then.

KittieKath · 07/01/2020 15:21

Thanks for your kind words everyone!

@Lozzlepop We spoke a bit on here a while back, and I am so sorry you have had sad news again. I really hope 2020 is the year for you, and the doctors can get to the bottom of what is happening. A friend of mine had a few MCs and they found she had a heart shaped womb - which sounds lovely but actually stopped the baby from getting further than 6-8weeks. It was fixed though and her little girl is now 2 and a half!

@orangeloo I remember you! And I know exactly how you feel... its so disheartening. But just keep calm, and focused and I am sure it will happen....

I think me and DP did 15 cycles in the end. But we did have lots of tests - and everything came up normal. I had the tube flush about 2months ago, which they say can improve your fertility for a few months afterwards. So maybe that helped?

@timswifey Sounds hopeful! Having trialed five different brands of pregnancy tests yesterday and today, I can recommend Amazon cheapies and Superdrug. Sainsbury are still coming up as BFN - amid a sea of BFPs!

Good luck everyone!

whatsthecraic91 · 07/01/2020 15:23

@1990shopefulftm with the cheap ones you are meant to use them mid afternoon with a good 3/4 hour hold & limit fluid intake. But CB ones you can use FMU which is very handy!

@Lozzlepop hopefully that’s the start of it for you and you don’t have to take the meds! Will the scan tell you if you’re going to need them or not? I’m okay thanks, just being as healthy as I can possibly be and keeping my walking up everyday!

@orangeloo that’s good news everything looks perfect! What is the other test you’re waiting on for? Are you allowed to try in the meantime or do you have to wait?

@timswifey good for you on holding off testing! I would have caved by now! Are you going to test in the morning if AF doesn't come?

1990shopefulftm · 07/01/2020 15:25

@whatsthecraic91, I ll just stick to evenings from now on , thank you for your advice :)

orangeloo · 07/01/2020 15:49

@timswifey well done for not testing. That's some serious willpower! fx for you

@KittieKath thank you I have heard that too and am awaiting a tube test so fingers crossed.

@whatsthecraic91 I'm waiting on a test to see if my tubes are open everything else has come back fine so far. Yes I'm allowed to try and hopefully I won't even need the test. Smile but at least the investigation ball is rolling if I'm not successful in the meantime.

timswifey · 07/01/2020 20:03

@KittieKath thanks for the heads up - I'll remember that 👍

@whatsthecraic91 thanks haha! Will probably wait a few more days just to see what happens. Will keep you posted though!

Getting a bit excited now! Mustn't get hopes up.

MIW01 · 08/01/2020 13:56

Thanks @Lottiepink she's decided to keep the baby. Tbh I'm really happy for her now, I was obviously feeling really upset and resentful at 1st but I'm quite excited about having another nice/nephew.

Congratulations @KittieKath & Thank you for sharing a story that will give us all hope!

I had my scan today. They can't tell what the results are so I asked what they are looking for and she said, "Mostly PCOS and anything structural linked to the ovaries and womb but as you're having regular periods I very mich doubt that's the case," which I think was her way of saying she didn't see anything.

AF due tomorrow and pretty sure she is imminent. Temperature drop & all the usual symptoms.

Lozzlepop · 08/01/2020 17:20

Hi ladies,

Hope you are all doing well!

@orangeloo that’s great to hear the physically everything looks ok and there’s nothing sinister going on. Do you know what the stages are after your next test?

@whatsthecraic91 the scan was to confirm if anything had progressed which unfortunately it hasn’t, they will leave me another week and then it’s either medication and get kept in at the hospital or the surgery. I really just want things to happen themselves in the next week as otherwise the decision will be taken out of my hands 😔

@KittieKath yes I remember chatting a while back! We’ve not been the luckiest unfortunately, this will be our fourth MC. That’s great that they got to the bottom of your friends issue- I really hope that they find something wrong- I am suspecting a blood clotting issue so that can be fixed fairly easily! I’m so happy for you after waiting all those months for your BFP it must have been an amazing moment ❤️

@MIW01 when will you find out the results?

@timswifey how did you get on, did you test?

timswifey · 08/01/2020 17:32

@Lozzlepop not tested yet! CD33 😂😂

Let's see what happens tomorrow x

whatsthecraic91 · 08/01/2020 19:59

@Lozzlepop oh no, well hopefully things happen naturally in the next week! Have you taken some time off to chill?

@timswifey wow girl you have some serious willpower!! Have you any other symptoms that’s pointing towards a BFP?

This cycle is dragging for me!! CD10 and I’ve some pains down low on the right but no EWCM yet so I don’t know what’s happening! DP couldn’t perform last night either so I think he’s feeling the pressure 😓 so much for trying to relax ourselves about it!!

georgiexo · 08/01/2020 21:12

Hi all,

I was on a previous thread but took a break as my AF was non existent. Have been on provera prescribed by gp which is a long process. First time worked and brought on AF. 2nd cycle nothing happened so was annoyed, then suddenly had some CF out of nowhere so started doing OPK's and Clearblue digital ov tests and got high fertility reading and the following day a peak fertility reading. DH works away during the week so only managed to DTD on high fertility day (and a couple days before which could still be in system - told its 5 days?) but hoping that was enough to do the trick so currently on a two week wait!! Praying AF never comes but now think every pain or twinge is a baby but it's far too soon 😂.

Sorry to hear the sad news. And congratulations for the happy news. These threads are tricky as we are happy for people getting there but also sad when we're not. Be kind to yourself always xxx

timswifey · 08/01/2020 21:44

@whatsthecraic91 I really don't know about symptom spotting - nothing really apart from a bit of nausea but I sometimes get that anyway... I know some women get no symptoms at all but I always assumed I would 'just know' if I was pregnant.

Sorry it's dragging for you - have you got a busy month ahead? Distraction is key otherwise we'll all go mad!

Anny27 · 08/01/2020 21:59

Evening ladies :) CD14 today and due to ovulate tomorrow but not had a positive OPK, have had lots of EWCM though so I am not sure if I will tomorrow or not haha! Guess we will see when my temps rise and we will continue to DTD every day atm.

@whatsthecraic91 yep I am doing SMEP this month, I find it best to have a plan :) what about you? My DH feels pressure around ovulation as well!

@orangeloo that's promising that physically everything looks okay!! Hope the follow ups go well

@MIW01 good news that they didnt see anything physically wrong with you either, what are the next steps?

@Lozzlepop hopefully you won't have to go down the medical route. It's so cruel when our bodies hold on to the babies after they have passed:(

@timswifey ooh will you test tomorrow?

Welcome @georgiexo glad your cycles are more on track and you can symptom spot with us in your tww haha!

georgiexo · 09/01/2020 09:13

Thank you @Anny27 it's good to talk it through without being face to face with people!

Hopefully your OV comes as expected xx

timswifey · 09/01/2020 12:36

@Anny27 I've bought some tests today and will test tomorrow morning if AF still hasn't surfaced.

My temperature still seems to be elevated and I noticed creamy CF this morning so both those things point to a potential BFP?

Trying so hard not to get excited...

orangeloo · 09/01/2020 13:23

@lozzlepop if everything is fine after next test, Sadly I just have to wait or save to see fertility specialist privately as the nhs referral time in my area is 3years of ttc :( so I obviously Really hope it doesn't come to this. I hope things start progressing for you naturally soon. X

@timswifey this looks promising fx for you

@georgiexo hi, glad you have some pattern back fx for your tww

whatsthecraic91 · 09/01/2020 17:23

@georgiexo welcome back! Hopefully you get your BFP this cycle 🤞🏼

@timswifey I’m so excited for you to test!!

@Anny27 no SMEP this month, just going by what my apps are saying and temping! Maybe you can advise me on this, apps all said due to ovulate 13th but today I had EWCM and logged it in my femometer and it changed my ovulation day until today! Which is really early and my temps are still low - I really don’t know what to think as we have only DTD once!

georgiexo · 09/01/2020 17:29

Thank you everyone, good luck to you all xx

Anny27 · 09/01/2020 17:37

@timswifey ahhhh update us when you have. We need a bfp on here - it's been a while!!

@whatsthecraic91 thats so strange! I put EWCM in femometer the other day and it didnt change ovulation date. Perhaps its predicting that it was today? Mine says "ovulation hasnt been confirmed by temps"

Can you screenshot your temps over the last week and we can have a look and see if there is a pattern

@orangeloo 3 years is crazy!!!! How much would private be?

whatsthecraic91 · 09/01/2020 18:02

@Anny27 thank you for looking! As this is my first month temping I’m confused! We DTD a couple of times when my period finished and started proper last night as it’s the start of my fertile week or so I thought! I am fuming if that’s my chance for this month over!
