@Kiza @MIW01 thank you ladies!! OMG a week! I hope I have my answer before then! 😂

aLilNonnyMouse · 03/12/2019 00:23

I don't know what to think anymore. Just got back from my weekend away a couple of hours ago and tested again. BFN as usual but I'm 21DPO. Day 39 of my cycle. I've been tracking for 3 years and I've never been this late before.

At least the lack of AF means I got to swim this weekend!

whatsthecraic91 · 03/12/2019 08:12

AF is here with a vengeance, she was just teasing me 😐

Lottiepink · 03/12/2019 08:17

@Kiza wow your consultant sounded great, really hope you conceive naturally before then, I've heard of so many people just about to start ivf and then feel pregnant naturally. Really hope that happens for you!

@whatsthecraic91 so frustrating not knowing either way, really hope you get a BFP soon

Lottiepink · 03/12/2019 08:18

@whatsthecraic91 aww no, so sorry! 😭

Anny27 · 03/12/2019 08:22

Morning everyone! Another chilly day here, working from home today so atleast I dont have to de-ice the car!!

@Lozzlepop have to wait for my DHs knee to feel better before he can go up the attic and get the decs down haha!

@Kiza I am glad the appointment went well and that things are getting moving, although must be quite overwhelming to process the mix of emotions. Glad you are feeling hopeful

@whatsthecraic91 sorry AF arrived 😭 so frustrating when you get different signs to normal and then bfn! Makes you all excited

@aLilNonnyMouse might you have ovulated a little later than you thought?

@MIW01 are you feeling better now you have your appointments lined up?

2.5 weeks since miscarriage and still have 0 idea when period will arrive haha. Bfn on cheapies but still getting quite clear lines on frers!

whatsthecraic91 · 03/12/2019 08:39

@Lottiepink I’m just glad I have an answer now I wasn’t even sad to see her because I knew deep down 😓

@Anny27 I was very excited but I wasn’t shocked AF arrived - story of my life 🤣 You still have positive tests? That sucks. How long does it take before all the pregnancy hormones are out of your system? How are you feeling?

Well here’s to hopefully a New Years Day BFP! Going to Lanzarote next weekend for a week and it’s my fertile week so hopefully sun, sea and sex will do the trick 😂

Lozzlepop · 03/12/2019 09:25

Morning ladies,

Well the nausea has hit today, not feeling great at all!

@Kiza thats great that your consultant is lovely, will make all the difference! I know it must be a really scary time but at least you have a plan and know you are working towards something!

@whatsthecraic91 so sorry to hear AF got you 😢Lanzarote sounds great though - some winter sun and don't forget the Sangria!!

@Anny27 oh lovely, nothing better than staying warm indoors! Oh no poor DH is he ok? With my MMC it took 6 weeks for AF to come back and when she did she was a total witch!

Hope everyone is having a fab Tuesday!

MIW01 · 03/12/2019 12:08

So sorry @whatsthecraic91 what a bitch! At last you know where you stand now and can move onwards to the next cycle. And sorry to hear your Af arrived @aLilNonnyMouse

Sorry to hear you're still getting positives on FRERs @Anny27 hopefully your body will get back in to the swing of things. I'm glad I have the appointments but just realised my AF is due the day my TV scan is scheduled on! Are they still able to do it if you're menstruating? I don't know. I'm going to ask tomorrow.

That sucks about the nausea @Lozzlepop I do hope this is a sticky bean for you though!

I'm on CD 22 and symptom spotting already. My CM is pasty so I know I'm past my fertile window. I'm just so desperate to see a BFP. Last night my DP and I were working on the house plans and he was getting so excited designing the kids room and he is going all goo goo over the cute toys when we go shopping it just breaks my heart a little bit everytime as I'm terrified I'm not going to be able to give him a baby. It would be so amazing if I can do that for Christmas!

orangeloo · 03/12/2019 13:50

Hi all, sorry to those that have had af arrive and @Anny27 I hope your pregnancy hormones start to fade soon.

I am 13dpo af due tomo or thurs and pretty sure she will come as I've had usual AF spotting and tested at 11DPO bfn although that test was not sensitive.

I have gynae appointment on the 17th for spotting issue but don't hold out much hope as I think my probs are hormonal so unless I get referred to an endo which I doubt I think I'm on my own when it comes to nhs. I have done a lot of research and think I'm going to try Vitex to boost my progesterone I have also ordered from US pure natural progesterone cream if Vitex doesn't work. It's hard to get here but I've read a lot of good things. I feel I'm going a bit potty but as we're in December I can't bear the thought of all next year being Void of BFP too. I'm having to be my own health advocate unfortunately. And I feel it's not going to happen without something changing.

I'm glad you had your appointment @Kiza and things are moving forward. You may not even need any or much intervention at all. But I hope it's brought you some peace that help is within reach.

whatsthecraic91 · 03/12/2019 15:21

@Lozzlepop did you have sickness with your other pregnancies? Hopefully this is a good sign for you 🤞🏼

@MIW01 she has been an absolute bitch so far - been popping pills all day! Another long day at work too so I’m here to about 7.30 again! It will be bath and bed with electric blanket as soon as I get home!! Our new house is freezing but that’s a different story 🙁

I’m actually taking this cycle as a positive as this is the first cycle my Luteal Phase has lasted 14days with AF arriving on 15DPO! Its usually 11/12 days - I’m thinking it’s my new supplements I’ve been taking! That can only be a good thing right?

Lozzlepop · 03/12/2019 19:59

Evening ☺️

@MIW01 I try to take some comfort in it as a good sign! I know what you mean, I think we sometimes forget how hard this journey is on our partners but don’t put any unnecessary stress on yourself!

@orangeloo I really hope that your appointment gives you some answers but it’s great that you have formulated a plan for yourself already!

@whatsthecraic91 unfortunately yes 😂 I’ve felt differing degrees of sickness each time! I think so far this feel more like pregnancy 1 so taking that as a good sign!

Attached my test that I just took just now.... think it’s a pretty decent line for evening urine after a pint of juice at dinner 😂

@whatsthecraic91 fitting that AF arrived for you, especially after all those unusual symptoms too- properly playing with your mind! Your holiday sounds great at this time of year and what great timing with your fertile window too!

@Anny27 I think my AF arrived about 5 weeks after mc and was just like a normal period for me so you may have to wait a while.

@MIW01 it's really hard isn't it as it feels sometimes like the responsibility lies with us as it's our bodies

@Lozzlepop sorry if I've missed it but did you call the clinic and ask if they will still keep the appointment?

Thanks for all your kind words ladies regarding our appointment. I know nothing is guaranteed but am now feeling a bit more hopeful and optimistic with a plan

Kiza · 03/12/2019 20:01

@whatsthecraic91 sorry that was meant to say gutting!

Kiza · 03/12/2019 20:09

@orangeloo I agree that sometimes we have to do our own research and try unusual things as sometimes the nhs professionals give you the standard advice. I've also read that spotting for more than 3 days before AF is a potential hormone imbalance (maybe low progesterone?) so natural supplements could be the way forward

orangeloo · 03/12/2019 20:25

Thanks @Lozzlepop that is a good line! Fx this is a sticky bean.

Thanks @Kiza glad u are feeling more hopeful and optimistic Smile

I'm Really glad Christmas is coming up, as a distraction from ttc. even though it can also be a tough time when you are longing to add to your family we all deserve for it to be a fab one. X

whatsthecraic91 · 04/12/2019 08:32

@Lozzlepop that’s good! You seem really happy and I so hope this works out for you 🤞🏼

@Kiza I just can’t wait to get away now! It’s going to be a great distraction, and the TWW falling over Christmas and new year too which is fab 😊 I just keep thinking about getting my BFP on New Year’s Day 🤞🏼 Now that would be amazing!

Lozzlepop · 04/12/2019 09:56

@Kiza I haven't called yet, holding off until tomorrow or start of the week as conscious that its still so early. Really glad to hear you are feeling more optimistic ☺️

@orangeloo thank you so much. Had to get up for a middle of the night pee- I always sleep though but had excessive peeing in pregnancy 1 so I am happy about this 😂

@whatsthecraic91 I guess at this stage I know theres not really much that we can do but hope, so trying to just take each day as it comes!

I can't believe it but I have the bloody cold again! How is that even possible 😂🙈

ValidUser · 04/12/2019 20:10

@Lozzlepop looking good!

Confirmed antiphospholipid syndrome today. Will be on innohep for my full ivf cycle. It's actually a relief in a way!

We have a reason for my chemical pregnancies and a way to make ivf work.

OP posts:
Kiza · 04/12/2019 20:40

@ValidUser had to google that one, glad you have a more confirmed answer. Out of curiosity what treatment can help to reduce the risk of miscarriage and pregnancy complications? Would it be anti blood clotting medication?

MIW01 · 04/12/2019 20:56

That's a lovely line @Lozzlepop 🤞🤞🤞 it sticks for you! That'd be a wonderful Christmas/New Year miracle. And thank you for your support. I'm hoping this nutrition programme is going g to help!

I'm glad you finally have an answer @ValidUser hopefully onwards and upwards from here!

Sorry to hear AF is being such a bitch @whatsthecraic91 though I'm glad to hear you're cycle has improved.

Thank you for the support @Kiza I know it's on both of us but I feel like he's got so much less control over it and that really bothers him. I let him know I'm sticking to this nutrition programme to try and improve our fertility as some kind of reassurance to us both I guess.

@orangeloo I've done some research in to Vitex and progesterone cream and may try it as a last resort if scan doesn't show anything and this nutrition programme doesn't work but I am hoping it will. I was diagnosed with low progesterone as I've mentioned before. I think that's the 1st port of call is to optimise how you're fuelling your body and the rest should take care of itself! If not then you can supplement.

ValidUser · 04/12/2019 21:23

@Kiza yep! Innohep is a potent anticoagulant.

Kiza · 05/12/2019 16:21

@ValidUser so happy for you that you have more of a confirmed solution and sending tons of positive energy your way!
Not sure if any of you ladies are into meditation but I came across this lovely one for healing our fertility energy

orangeloo · 05/12/2019 16:25

Thanks @Kiza I've been wanting to find one like this and do find them relaxing so will give this a go.

Kiza · 05/12/2019 19:58

@orangeloo let me know what you think, I really liked this one and fully zened out!
