December bus - testing first week of december

Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

Arrghh! I couldn't resist testing again! But it looks a clearer line than yesterday doesn't it?!?! I feel utterly awful with this cold - it's all gone on my chest now too and obviously can't take any of the good medicine if I am actually pregnant!

@whatsthecraic91 ah I'm sorry hun, but at least onto the next cycle now. No AF for me yet, but I went to the gym this morning and got the worst cramps when on the treadmill which has happened before and AF has come, so I'm expecting her to arrive today 😤. Keep you posted xxx

My ovia app says I can test in 3days I'm 10dpo today 🤞🤞

@tamalama I'm 11/12DPO today. I can't believe I'm not just imagining it!

I just feel so unwell with this bug I've picked up it's really the only reason I tested so early - because I wanted to justify being able to take all the good medicine! I'm now having to make do with paracetamol and it's not even touching the sides of this!

Is it possible to test at 12dpo have a bfn but still be pregnant?
Or to have clear lines everyday and still not be pregnant?
I just wonder if it s really reliable these tests so early and the “faint lines” we get before AF is due?

I just don’t get it.

@Talcott2007 it's rubbish feeling unwell in very early pregnancy but try and stay away from anything strong! That a good line for 11/12dpo, congrats! X

AF is due today for me! I tested last night and got a BFN. Pretty crampy, very swollen breasts, and generally tired, so not holding out much hope. Still though, you never know.

Going to test if she doesn't rear her head by tonight. I'm usually like clockwork; every 30 days around 6 pm lol

I tested again with fmu today. I think I still see that + sign but extremely faint.
According to flo I should be 20dpo now.
I'm thinking it's possible I ovulated a good bit later than that tho if the line is so faint. I'm away with OH for the weekend so going to postpone testing again until we get back on Monday.

I see it too lovely, good idea to go enjoy your weekend and then test again, maybe take one just in case you get any feelings? Have you tried a digital one? Or a different brand?

I’m only about 1 maybe 2dpo so I’ve got about 11/12 days before I could take a test but I am hoping I can hold out until 16th when my AF is due, maybe even 17th when it’s late. It’s so hard because I don’t actually know when I’ll come on because of the pill which I came off 2 weeks ago so I am thinking of trying at 12dpo as I have a better idea of when I ovulated than when I should get my AF.

At least if I do get my AF I’ll have a better idea of my cycle than I do this month!

I should add that I came off the pill the day I got my AF, as I had them somewhat regularly whilst on desogestrel, some months I had no period, some months I had more than one bleed, the last two months were relatively regular and they felt like proper periods so I’m basing my predicted AF date from that which isnt accurate hence why I wanna test based on days po)

The first tests were sainsburys. The second one I got out of my local chemist (numark).
Oh I've got everything crossed for you!!! How amazing would it be getting a positive your first month trying. You will have to keep me updated!!
It's all so exciting and lovely to be able to talk with someone going through similar experiences.
I ordered some ultra sensitive tests of ebay. Feel like all I've been doing for the past few days is poas. 😂
Also worth mentioning my cycle went 29,35,29,34,29 when I came off pill. Today would be CD34. I assumed this month would be a slightly longer cycle because of the pattern and that's why I think I O'ed later than app says.

can someone help me count my dpo.. :(
I am so down right now I just need some hope..
I tested my ovulation and got a positive ovulation test 23rd of November ... so what dpo day am I on now? ... so confused

Sunshinexx95 you are 10 dpo (the same as me!). That is if you deffo ovulated on 23rd. I have a 30 day cycle so AF is due on Sat 7th. Depending on your cycle length that may vary.

@Sunshinexx95 hi! 11dpo here, af due on Sat 7th :) don't be alarmed by a BFN at 10dpo. Average implantation is 9dpo, give your body a chance to produce all the hormones :)

Any else got this hideous flu going round? I've not been so poorly in a long time, and a bit worried that it's going to interfere. I've kept well away from my usual cold/flu go to of Beechams all-in-one just in case but I'm WIPED.

Ovia says test day tomorrow and I'm nervous....! FRER at the ready.

Sunshinexx95 no I haven’t. I had a chemical pregnancy in Sept where I had a positive test 4 days before AF then a negative one & late period a few days later. My fingers were burnt on testing too early! I’ve had this strange spotting this time round though. Spoke to my doc yesterday who said I could test but it would probably be too early to show anything. My symptoms are completely different this time to September. Then I had every single early symptom at the mo a few but I’m wary I’m symptom spotting. Try to hold off any more tests if you can. Hardest thing ever I know but it could just be too early for you at the mo. Xx

Hey everyone, I'm desperate for some TWW company right now - my AF is due in 5 days and I'm trying not to think about it too much, but I'm beginning to climb the walls!!

I'm 33 years old and this is my 3rd cycle of trying for what will be (fingers crossed) my first baby (however I've been charting my BBT for about a year and half, but before it was to prevent pregnancy)

This month has been different from the others, and I'm trying not to read too much into it - but I keep having mild cramps. I've had them on and off since about 4 dpo, and on 5 dpo and 9 dpo they were quite bad, almost like AF cramps, and for some strange reason my BBT dipped on those two days as well (so maybe the cramps are related to oestrogen surges, if that's a thing? I don't know?) I never get any dips between ovulation and day AF normally, and I never get consistent cramping like this either, so I don't know what's going on!

@whatsthecraic91 AF started 🙄. Oh well onto the next xxxx
