Morning everyone!

Sorry I have been silent I feel bad popping back in here when all you ladies are still getting BFN's 😭
I would definitely try ovulation strips and BBT if you ladies haven't already!
And any trying a year or there about's, let your GP's know ❤️

My Gp called me in for bloods and a uti dip test yesterday due to my previous MC's, and medical history. I saw a nurse who was so rude. She dipped my wee sample for pregnancy yesterday without telling me, waited less than a minute. Turned to me and was like
"Well that is negative. It's definitely negative"
I said well here's the test i just dipped in that exact same sample before i left
"But it's definitely negative, we'll obviously still send off you're bloods because, you know, you say you're pregnant and that's more sensitive, but this is negative "

She said it in such a horrible way like she was accusing me of lying about being pregnant!
She was also the same one who was horrible to me after i had a MC and suspected ectopic pregnancy 😡
I shall be reporting her for sure!

Bloods being sent off today 🤞 hopefully they'll be back in today if not i guess tomorrow

Wewin · 07/11/2019 08:20

Please report her @farmmumtomillie I’ve been left in tears many times with rude medical staff. She needs to be made aware of her bedside manner. I’m sorry she was like this with you. Hope you are ok.

@Sunshinexx95 I know it seems like everyone gets pg faster. It only seems that way bc the ones that get pg straight away are more vocal about it. 35% women will take up to one year to fall pg. Many women silently ttc for a long time but don’t discuss it so no one knows. You hang in there, it will happen, just get on with your life and don’t put anything on hold. Your baby will come at the right time.

farmmumtomillie · 07/11/2019 08:52

@Wewin i will be for sure! That's twice not. I can home, did a 4 1/2 hold and one step was damn obvious that it was BFP! So i know my hcg is rising because they were stark white until an absolute squinter Tuesday and this is my easy@home tests bottom monday, middle Tuesday, top yesterday

I totally agree, so many people ttc in silence! And many more have unprotected sex as the 'it'll never happen to us ' and not fall in the first year

Hey, AF got me today so I'm having a 25-27 day cycle pattern, not the result I wanted but new cycle and I'm hoping this is my month!! I'm going to follow the SMEP and do more OPK tests - I've not done the clear blue ovulations so flashing smileys are all foreign to me but if it doesn't happen this month I may try them out in December xxxx

farmmumtomillie · 07/11/2019 13:09

So sorry @AliSxo !! Fingers crossed this months your month 🤞🤞 i would definitely track with OPk's and BbT if you don't already

AliSxo · 07/11/2019 13:23

Hey @farmmumtomillie sorry to hear how rude the nurse was to you! She sounds vile!! I'd complain if I we're you as it's such a sensitive topic for her to bulldoze through! I do the IC OPKS but not sure I can be bothered for the clear blue ones. Xx

Wewin · 07/11/2019 14:49

Great progression there @farmmumtomillie. I’m thinking they might use the 50miu at the surgery which is why her’s was negative. So don’t worry, you know you are pg! Even if she thinks you were making it up. She sounds completely ridiculous. It makes me mad when staff are so dismissive or patronising and then they always have those huge posters about zero tolerance of abuse of health staff. It works both ways. I’ve left appointments in tears many times. I’ve never complained but should have. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better now.

Sorry @AliSxo that AF arrived. Hope this month is yours. I’m just waiting on AF myself which is due tomorrow at 15dpo. Today another BFN.

farmmumtomillie · 07/11/2019 17:43

Thanks everyone! HCG came back at 96 which is above average for 3+6 (4weeks today) so I'm happy 😃
I've had this really strong feeling it's twins since i found out though and that's really just made me think maybe my guts right! It was right last pregnancy i just knew from the beginning it was a girl. And i was right! Do little panicked now 😂😳

How's everyone feeling?

Copperpan123 · 07/11/2019 18:20

@farmmumtomillie squee that's amazing! I read your first post about the drs surgery (which is terrible, I'm sorry you had to go through that) and felt absoloutely gutted for you, then read tour post about your blood result! Amazing! So happy for you! Don't feel you can't post because of your positives, it's a lovely thing ❤

@Sunshinexx95 I know exactly how you feel. I've been TTC for 7 months now. With my first it was a complete accident and as, at the time intercourse with my husband was a bi-annual occurrence (no exaggeration!!) It seems like a miracle that I conceived! This time I'm older and so desperately want it. I swear everyone I know is pregnant and constantly say things like "Oh we were going to start trying but weren't expecting to fall pregnant so quickly...". Honestly you aren't alone, it's totally normally for it to take upto a year for a young healthy couple, and I'm sure you'll get there. How well do you know your body and cycles? That's the first thing to do to help you along and give you a sense of control! Smile

Wewin · 07/11/2019 18:48

96!!! Woo hoo!! Grin

farmmumtomillie · 08/11/2019 08:12

Thanks ladies!! Super happy. Stupid Nurse! Clearly she was wrong!!

@Wewin , they probably do your right but i reckon if she left it to develop it would definitely have shown something but then that one steps supposed to be 10mui so maybe not 😂

Early testing ladies i HIGHLY recommend easy@home ProMatris and b&m/home bargain cheapies. Both early single packets and the two packet box
I really don't rate FRER for the price!

1dpo currently 2ww anyone else?
Wewin · 08/11/2019 08:42

Totally agree. I hate buying FRERs. Have wasted way too much money on them. Well, my AF arrived bang on time this morning at 15dpo. No big surprises there as had zero symptoms.

VNAWENN · 08/11/2019 11:18

@farmmumtomillie ocangbelieve they would be so rude to you! That's not in especially when this journey is hard enough x

coffeecow · 08/11/2019 13:16

Woah @farmmumtomillie those are some good looking positives!

AF is due tomorrow for me. BFN when I tested with a FRER yesterday morning (which was 12dpo) so I'm just anxious to get onto next month now. Disappointed as I work in a school so having a July baby would have been ideal. Could have finished up the school year nicely.

Rjandy2014 · 08/11/2019 15:43

Congratulations to anyone who got a bfp this month. And good luck to anyone still waiting to find out.

AF came in full force this morning. 2 days later than expected. Feeling pretty low about it. I am going to try and take a more relaxed approach with the 2ww next time as seeing bfns was so disappointing and actually i never truly accepted it until af turned up anyway so it was kindve a waste of time energy and money for me!
I will be doing BBT though so i can be sure of when i ovulated

VNAWENN · 08/11/2019 16:08

@farmmumtomillie wow! That is some bad predictive text on my last reply to you 🤣🤣

coffeecow · 08/11/2019 16:45

@Rjandy2014 I totally agree with you about the not totally believing it with each negative test. Every time I get a negative I google and find people who also had an negative test at the point but then got their BFP. So so so disheartening. I'm going to try and be more relaxed with the 2ww as well this time 🤞

Sunshinexx95 · 09/11/2019 18:33

Hi everyone,
I went to get distracted and change my hair colour today while I was waiting for Af or a BFP.. so the hairdresser ruined my hair and I got my AF at the same time and I literally had a breakdown at the saloon. I didn't know what to do. I was so sad because of my hair and because AF showed up.. nothing good is happening and now my hair is ruined too and I paid for it. 😭

coffeecow · 09/11/2019 19:12

Oh @Sunshinexx95, sounds like a horrible day all round. Tomorrow is a new day.

VNAWENN · 19/03/2020 05:17
