I’m due to stop taking the mini pill next week and then hopefully going to start TTC properly once my periods return to normal but in the meantime I’m aware that anything can happen and I for one am hoping that I’ll be one of the lucky ones to get a BFP quickly but I won’t hold my breath!

My OH is somewhat less enthusiastic as me so I think I need to proceed with caution and not mention when I’m ovulating or schedule DTD - I’ve waited years for him/us to be ready I daren’t scare him off now!!!!

Anybody else looking to start TTC soon after the mini pill?

Anybody else got any tips on how to proceed in terms of TTC, ovulation kits etc...

As the day you started your period (not stopped)*

@FutureMrsSmith haha confused for a second til I read your second post. That's what I've been doing I started a Period on 18th and so I think I can only assume until proven otherwise if I get AF in the next few weeks) that that was CD1 like it normally would be when not on the pill and then if I do get AF and no BFP at least I have a better idea of what's going on for the next cycle. Thanks lovely x

Hope you don’t mind me joining in. I stopped the pill September and had the withdrawal bleed 28th September and still haven’t had a period yet. It’s driving me mad and I feel like something is wrong with me. I have drove myself mad temperature monitoring, pregnancy and OPK testing so this month I have stopped and feel so much more relaxed. I’m hoping my body is just taking time to adjust, I do workout a lot and my doctor told me to have a month off working out as this can stop periods, then if no luck she is sending me for an ultrasound.

@Minniemoo60 of course not, the more the merrier!

Have you been getting any signs of ovulation when you've been testing and tracking? Xx

I’ve had cramping and sore nipples, changes in discharge had spells where feel like period is coming but it doesn’t show up.

Going to focus on Christmas and look forward to that because it’s so easy to symptom spot and then be so upset when pregnancy tests are negative or period doesn’t show.

Hi @Minniemoo60, I'm exactly in the same boat! Stopped taking the pill in September, and haven't had a real period yet (although had 4 days of brown spotting last month, around the time my period should have come). It's so frustrating to wait for a period to come, when it's supposed to be a monthly occurence for most women...
I will only be starting TTC in January, so am really hoping period will arrive before then!
