anyone waiting for AF this week (w.b. 21/10)

Hi everyone 🙂

I thought I would start a thread for everyone that is due AF this week, if anyone would like to join?

I am 29 and have been TTC #1 for 10 months with no hint of a BFP. I have been tracking my BBT for the last 6 months and always have a 13 day luteal phase, with AF appearing on the 14th day after OV. Yesterday was day 14 and nothing sign of AF yet. Temperature hasn't dipped yet either. Too scared to test as i'm fed up of seeing BFN 😣

Scared that just by making this thread I am jynxing it and AF will arrive, so please keep me company 🙂 would love to hear from and support others! Baby dust to everyone, this journey is so hard 💐

@Staceyx87 I'm not really sure when I ovulated. My first cycle since stopping the pill was 28 days and second was 27 days. When I was using OPKs during what I thought was the middle of my cycle they were all coming back negative so I thought I hadn't ovulated, then I tested again 15 days ago and it was almost positive so not sure if I was about to have a surge then or just missed it. Either way, I would have thought it should have been a stronger line by now if it was positive??

@Crazymummyto3 our cycles are about the same length, we were due af around the same time and your test is much darker than mine so there is hope. Maybe you didn't ov till later thats what I'm hoping happend to me as low progesterone with day 21, with my only other pregancy which i lost a few years back I binned the test as I thought it was negative (week late) and my friend pulled it out and said it was positive, I couldnt even see the line, miscarried at 9weeks .. that was before I started actually trying and scrutinizing tests!! I just have this weird feeling that I am but making me crazy with no bfps

@Staceyx87 Same here, I really don't feel as though AF is going to arrive but am getting so frustrated by the difference between tests! I'll do another in the morning with fmu but then if that doesn't show anything I'll leave it a couple of days as I'm getting a bit obsessed with poas 🙈

@Crazymummyto3 I thought I seen a shadow this morning but was half asleep and tilting so maybe just an indent, I'm the same haha tested last 3 days waiting for a line. It's just strange not sure bout you but I've never had a cycle longer than 29 days. Just noticed my nipples look bigger but could be just in my head. I'm the same one cheap test left will try tomorrow if no bfp I'll wait till weekend. My cramp and back pain seems to have gone now? How are you feeling?

@Staceyx87 I feel really tired but it's busy a really busy half term at work so that's probably why! Other than that, I don't feel any different

AF has arrived for me so I'm out this month ☹️ Don't think I'll be using ICs next month as they were giving false hope ☹️ Good luck to anyone else who's still in x

@Crazymummyto3 how did you get on today? So annoyed took a test and the test line appeared straight away super dark but then the control line never appeared so must have been faulty. I'll take it apart and have a look, not sure how I post photos?

@staceyx87 I would take another test. I think when the control line doesn't come up it can't be 100% trusted.

I took a CB digital today as I am beginning to thing I must have ovulated a lot later than I thought. It said "not pregnant". But I took it apart, I know you're not meant to, and there is a clear second blue line. Any ideas?

@Crazymummyto3 sorry just seen your other post, hopefully next month you get your bfp. It's tough, you get excited when it's not the norm to be late and then bang Af and disappointment.

@bananaloaf88 yeah I think the test must have been invalid, got so excited when that line appeared but way too dark. I think its the control line but is in the wrong position. I'll buy a frer for tomorrow and if Bfn then I must have just missed a period or not ovulated at all ... tbh my day 21 said I didn't ovulate and I'm holding hope that I ov later but only time had sex was cd25 and cd26, with always having a 26/29 days cycle I think its impossible I ovulated that late so maybe af hasn't came becaise I never ovulated at all boo!! I'm on cd36 today.
If you have a clear second lime after taking test apart I'd say that was bfp, jus not showed through window ... as you can see from my photo there was no second line when I took it apart ... Did it have colour? Fingers and toes crossed for you

@Bananaloaf88 That looks positive to me, do you have another one you could take? Could it be that you couldn't see the second line from the window? Good luck!

@Staceyx87 I really didn't feel like AF was going to come but I also didn't feel pregnant either if that makes sense? I've been really stressed with work for the past couple of months so I wonder if that has had an effect on my period? I'm not used to this as for our three other children I fell pregnant during the first month. I'm worrying that age might be playing a factor now? I'm almost 11 years on from the first time. We will put a bit more effort in to next month as I know we didn't dtd as much as we should have over the fertile period last month. I also think I might have ovulated later than I originally thought as I got hardly any line on my OPKs during what I thought was the middle of the month and an almost positive a week later when we did dtd due to work, so guessing my surge was then ☹️

@Crazymummyto3 It was a CB digital one. I don't think you are meant to take them apart. I have heard they have two lines anyway but they are both very clear. I'm all out of tests I'll buy more today!

@crazymummyto3 that's exactly how I feel, I dont feel pregnant or af coming although today my cramp felt exactley like af but all I got was lots of cm! It's jus disappointing when you have a little hope then bfns or af. I dont have any kids but I'm worried now being in my early 30s with endo that it might not happen. I'm hoping I ovulated too as been under stress with work and pressure to have a baby from everyone rather than not ov at all. I dtd usually every day when oh is home so it's not like we don't try haha. If it does come I should have appointment soon with infertility clinic and possibly another laparoscopy so hoping that will help and not bad news. Even keep dtd every couple of days towards end of your cycle in case you do ov a bit later, fingers crossed next month is yours

Took a FRER today. I can't believe it. I have no idea when I might have ovulated. I'm so late on CD48!!!! Going to book a Dr blood test.

I've just done another test and it's come up with a faint positive so it looks like I've had a chemical pregnancy 😢

@Crazymummyto3 Thank you! I have a blood test on Monday to confirm with my periods being all over the shop this past month of two. My last one was in Sep!

I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending lots of hugs. I went through a MC this year and no matter how early it is still very painful. 😥

I'm now 12 days late and I'm still getting BFN's.
No sign of anything starting at all 🤷‍♀️
Not too sure what to think x

@CrazyFooLady Maybe get a nurses app for a blood test. I didn't get my bfp until more than 2 weeks after I thought my period should have been due. I was on CD48! So 18 days!

I'm in the same boat @CrazyFooLady ! CD42 and my cycles are normally 36 days. Last tested yesterday evening and another BFN...
