@Maisy24 yes it definitely has im seriously flagging. Not been off since honeymoon in June. I start a new role for a few months after this so I have so much to do tomorrow before I change jobs. Fingers crossed for u as well x

MeganMama28 · 25/10/2019 09:51

@jemx how many dpo will you be on Saturday? I agree it's best to try to wait but I never can! Last time I got a strong positive at 10dpo so I may test around that time again which will be around the 3rd.

Fingers crossed for everyone that this will be a lucky bus 🤞xx

jemx · 25/10/2019 10:09

@MeganMama28 according to Clue/Flo/Ovia, I'll be 8 dpo but I think I ovulated earlier as the OPKs I did around that time were negative 🤔 I might just do it tomorrow, if it's negative then I can always just test again I guess..

BurnerPhone · 25/10/2019 10:34

AF is due today but so far no sign...I'm desperate to test but I don't want to until next week as I've had a chemical before and the disappointment of a BFP that turns into a BFN was worse than this waiting...! Feel like I'm nervous every time I go to the toilet today

MeganMama28 · 25/10/2019 11:16

@jemx 8dpo may be a little early but a FRER might pick something up if you really can't hold out!

@BurnerPhone sorry to hear you had a chemical before that must've been hard. A good sign that AF hasn't come yet! Have everything crossed for you 💕

CooperLooper · 25/10/2019 22:11

Getting some serious period cramps and spotting 😭 looks like AF is back after a 5 year hiatus (Nexplanon). At least it will give me a better understanding of my cycles and timing, onto the next month! X

Plaw · 25/10/2019 23:25

@CooperLooper aw sorry to hear but it is a positive that you are getting your cycle back! Hugs to you all the same!x

jemx · 26/10/2019 06:54

@MeganMama28 just did one of the little strips from amazon, unsurprisingly it was negative! Maybe need to wait a week and try again. Is it worth buying one of the proper FREE tests rather than the strips?

MeganMama28 · 26/10/2019 07:07

@jemx my amazon IC was VERY faint at 10dpo but the FRER was really clear. Would definitely recommend those if you're testing early. They're pricey so if you hold out the ICs will be clearer after a missed period. I've ordered both this cycle - as much as I'm telling myself I'll wait until a missed period I know I'll cave and will most likely test early too 😂

jemx · 26/10/2019 07:29

@MeganMama28 it's so hard isn't it? The only reason I want to try and test early (other than because I have no patience 😂) is because we're going away for the weekend to visit friends when AF arrives, and I'd like to know if I can have a drink as I haven't seen them for so long or whether I'm going to have to make excuses not to! I know it's not the end of the world but it's those little things that start stressing me out.

MeganMama28 · 26/10/2019 08:21

@jemx maybe just have a few weak drinks or get some mocktails and pretend they're cocktails? I've bought alcohol free beer/wine 'by accident' before when heading to a friends and then drank it as it 'would be shame to waste it' 😂 that trick worked well! Not that I'd recommend going wild haha but apparently this beginning stage it's okay to have drink or two! The antibiotics excuse is always met with people automatically thinking pregnant I find!

jemx · 26/10/2019 08:33

Yeah I don't know if anyone ever believes the antibiotics line 😂 mocktails and alcohol free beer/wine may be a shout if I can get away with it. I have heard that one or two in the very early stages is okay so maybe as long as I don't overdo it. I literally overthink everything so I'm just driving myself crazy! 🙈

@MeganMama28

Tamalama · 27/10/2019 09:18

Does anyone feel really confident during the first week of the tww and then start to feel really negative at around 7/8dpo onwards?

I'm 7dpo today and I've got some very mild abdominal cramping today and my ovary is a bit twingy. I had a couple of sharp vaginal pains yesterday but I'm starting to think it's just my usual af symptoms, which do usually tend to start a week before I'm due (due 3rd November)

We only dtd once during my fertile period due to us both being unwell. It was the day I got my static smiley and I think I ovulated that night as I had ovary pains.

CooperLooper · 27/10/2019 09:32

@Tamalama you timed your DTD really well, so fingers crossed it was enough for you this month 🤞🏻honestly symptom spotting is driving me mad, I thought I was coming on my AF a couple of days ago but apparently not. It's frustrating having symptoms that are probably just AF on her way it you can't help but think 'oooo ovulation pains' or 'ooo implantation pains?!' Etc 😅 but in your case implantation pains are usually around 6-7dpo aren't they so you might be onto a winner. When are you going to test? X

TeeBagg · 27/10/2019 09:38

@Tamalama yes very much so! So much that I declined dtd later that week and then regretted it! I'm now somewhere around 11-13 dpo and feeling less and less confident. Af sort of due on Wednesday but my cycles aren't always bang on. I'm not intending on buying any pregnancy tests until Friday so I feel like the tww is a million years!

Makeafamily19 · 27/10/2019 10:01

Yes I was quite confident a few days ago and now starting to think I'm just being an idiot getting my hopes up again! 7DPO today, had EWCM this morning which has confused me!

Tamalama · 27/10/2019 10:13

@CooperLooper I'm on cycle 8 so I've learned my lesson regarding testing early as I've been disappointed every month and the amount of money I've spent over the last few months is crazy! I'm hoping I've done enough but who knows 🤷‍♀️ how many dpo are you?

Tamalama · 27/10/2019 10:14

@TeeBagg it's a horrible feeling isn't it? Everything crossed that you get a bfp.

Tamalama · 27/10/2019 10:16

@Makeafamily19 yep, I feel like that every month 😕 I've had watery cm this morning, so I'm confused too!
When I had my DD and when I was pregnant earlier this year one of the early indications was sore hard boobs. The closer I get to af every month without that symptom is when I know I'm pretty much out...

Nic555 · 27/10/2019 10:25

Same here. I don't really worry about it too much the first week and then the 2nd week I just always think there's no chance. I can't even imagine ever getting a BFP. I started spotting 10 DPO last month rather than my usual 12 DPO so least I don't have too long to way x

MeganMama28 · 27/10/2019 10:44

@Tamalama was literally about to post the same thing this morning! Even though I promised I wouldn't, I've been symptom spotting like mad. I've been waking up to go to the toilet throughout the night and have had an achy pelvic feeling. Had both in early stages of my last pregnancy but I know I'm reaching a bit there! @Nic555 I'm the same, I know by the end of next week it will completely reverse and I will have convinced myself I'm not! Thank goodness for this thread you all have made me feel more sane knowing its not just me! The joys of the 2ww!

MrsLEB · 27/10/2019 10:52

Nice to see that many others are 7dpo today too and we're in this together. Although I am worrying that I might have got ovulation wrong as my boobs aren't full and heavy yet and normally they are straight after ov.

TeeBagg · 27/10/2019 10:58

@Tamalama fingers crossed for you too. Don't forget that every pregnancy is different even for the same person so even without the hard boob symptom doesn't mean you're out. I get that it will make you feel less confident though. When I had my DS, taking the pregnancy test was almost like confirmation of what I already knew. Somehow I did just know. I don't feel like that at all this time.

Mycrazylife85 · 27/10/2019 13:34

I use the flo app to log my symptoms and I've realised my logged symptoms are exactly the same as ever 6dpo. Same CM, same fatigue. No sore boobs. I'm not pregnant and I know it. I get to this stage and just want AF to come to get it over with. Having such long cycles (38 days) I have around a 28 day wait till ovulation though which sucks. Feeling pretty mheh today
