@Sophieb15 please can you remind me about the test holders I've only had one so far and the sticks have lasted me 3 months if I buy more next month do I use the original holder or the new one ? Xx

@mrssunshinexxx Lol, I hope I don't get my flashing smiley! 😂 just want my static 😭 I'm always nervous though because I worry it will drop from flashing back to low.
I just didn't realise it would be this hard, the first hurdle is ovulating in the first place which I just took for granted would happen every month and at around the same time. Like you say, just dtd when you can and that's all you can do xx

@Tamalama that must be so frustrating that amount of flashing smileys 🤦🏻‍♀️ hopefully you get static tonight or in the morning. Are you covered BD wise? Xx

@mrssunshinexxx the day you O can vary every month so it could be mon this month. Yes use the same holder even if u get a new packet. Try not to stress that can also delay O day! Xx just get in as much BD as you and you will be covered anyway.

Hi everyone, jumping on from the September bus 🙂

28, TTC #1, Cycle 10, CD4.

Fed up of seeing AF/BFN and feel like it is never going to happen for us 😢 my DH is a bit down about it too. Hard to stay positive sometimes but going to focus on healthy eating and exercise this month, I could definitely benefit from losing a few pounds.

@Sophieb15 well we dtd CD 8, 10, 13 & 15. I'm CD17 today so we'll dtd today too and most likely tomorrow. I think doing it every other day should be ok. I just do that until the flashing smileys stop! 😂 x

@mrssunshinexxx @Tamalama I just did a 10miu test because I felt sick yesterday and have weird pains and no joke there's a squinter of 2nd line. I wonder does that mean I had a chemical 😩 thank god I didn't test before AF as I prob would have got an actual positive and then been disappointed

How is everyone? Currently on CD8... for some reason my boobs have been sore last couple of days, wondering if I’ve got a hormone imbalance as I’ve been feeling so off!!!!

Trying to take a more relaxed approach this month, we are gonna dtd every other day.

I ovulated early last month so will prob start doing opks pretty soon!!

Does anyone know if alcohol affects ovulation or implantation? Xxx

With our other three babies I fell pg first month of trying. I honestly didn't think I would get a BFP this month as two of the children then hubby had a sickness bug so we didn't get to dtd around the time when I thought I'd ovulated. Fingers crossed for this cycle!

I'm CD9 today. Here's my OV sticks from the past couple of days. Didn't get to test yesterday as was out all day. Do the first and third look positive?
If yes then it's very early for me. I usually OV about CD13. We have so far dtd CD7. I hope to tonight and every other day up to about CD17.

@Sunflower2019 I dunno would it be good if it was a chemical because hormones are supposed to stay high after one and I know 3 people now who have got pregnant month after a chemical. One person on here my sister and my friend and all are still pregnant one nearly due 🙈

@pottypotamus I'm CD 8 so find it weird. They do look quite positive OPKS I find the cheapies hard to read tho

I'm CD18 and I've got another flashing smiley 😕 that's 9 days now.... ☹️ I think my cm has all but dried up as well. Predicted due date for af is 8th October so I guess I'll just see what happens. I didn't dtd yesterday but we'll try and do it today and every other day up until af is due I guess!

@Tamalama I took it yesterday not with FMU there's def a faint line there I showed a few ppl and they can see it it's weird. I'll test again maybe wed morning and see it should be gone by then if it was a chemical.
It's very annoying about the flashing smileys. It could be just that your missing it!! Would you go and get the blood tests done in doctors?? Check your progesterone levels?

@Sophieb15 what made you test? I thought af had got you or has she not arrived yet?
Yeah I'm hoping I've just missed it but I'll still just keep dtd and see what happens. I think I'll ring my gp tomorrow to get a blood test sorted x

@Tamalama I just had weird pulling low down and felt a bit nauseous and I just said I'd test. I had a 4 day bleed and i thought it was AF 🤷🏻‍♀️ ya u normally get it done around CD 21

@Sophieb15 Ahh ok. Does your af usually last for longer than 4 days and was it particularly heavy this month?

@Tamalama I use tampons but the really light ones first day was normal and then light for second day and light for 2 days 🙈

@Sophieb15 it sounds like it may have differed slightly to your normal period then? When are you going to take another test? X

I completely forgot to use cb opks this morning but I'm liking this relaxed approach I might do one in the morning if I remember

Can I ask though up until last month I had quite strong ovulation pains but last month and this month haven't had any, should I be worried about that change ? X
