The dreaded tww

Hey, I'm currently in the dreaded tww. I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, one app says 8th other says 10th. So I'm either 8 or 10dpo. I tried a frer this morning and got a bfn (not surprised given I could only be 8dpo, but I couldn't resist). Anyone due to test in the next couple of days? I'm going to try and hold out until saturday, (af due between saturday and monday - had a weird short cycle last month so not sure if it will be the same this month) x

How have you been feeling? Do you have any symptoms? I have nothing at all. I'm trying to think back to when I was pregnant with my little boy but cant remember if I had any that time either x

@charlie0692 that's not necessarily a bad thing. A girl I know is having no symptoms and got her BFP a few weeks ago! Yes, I've had backache and cramping, bit of nausea too. Feel like I'm driving myself nuts!

Have you done a test yet @gigi318? Your symptoms are sounding hopeful! X

@charlie0692 no testing on Saturday chick and getting so nervous for it! So same as you 😬I'm feeling teary all of a sudden now. Ahhh 😩

Hey @gigi318, unfortunately yes, I had the teeny tiniest bit on friday when I wiped once, then a little yesterday which made me think maybe i had ovulated late and it was implantation bleeding but then af arrived in full force this morning 😫 how about you? X

@charlie0692 oh no babe, sorry to hear that. Well, I messed up my test and it didn't do a reading 🙃🙄 tried again got a BFN with a digital. Have had faint dark brown spotting on and off since Friday but no sign of AF yet. Got a FRER now and plan to test Tuesday all being well 🤞🏻 so are you going with CD2 today?

Yep counting today at cd2 and just trying to stay positive about this month 😊 this will be the 4th cycle TTC #2, it happened the month after I come off the pill with dc1 so I have no idea about working out when I ovulate and stuff, I'm kind of just going off what the ovia app says at the minute. Do you use any ovulation tests or anything to track when you ovulate? I'm scared of getting so caught up in trying that I'll just stress myself out and it wont happen 🙈 x

@charlie0692 thank you chick, this is officially cycle 1 ttc #1 for me 🤞🏻 So I actually just go by my body and the standard CD13/15 idea of fertility. I've not been on contraception for 4-5 years and have gotten very used to my cycle and CM in particular. Used to bat OH away when O pain and EWCM would pop up. Now the tables have turned! I have downloaded Flo app but it just shows me what I sort of expected which is a good thing. Don't think I will use OPKs as I don't want to obsess either and (while this may change of course haha 🙈) right now I feel as if I know my body and I have a better chance just going with it and trusting my instincts. Helps that I'm generally more up for DTD during O anyway 🤣👌🏻 sorry. So long winded! Do you track your CM?

Hahaha I'm hoping If we can dtd every other day then we should hopefully hit the right time ha. I kind of have an idea with cm, I've never paid any interest in it before these 3 months and now I'm looking for every little sign 🙈😂 x

@charlie0692 exactly, I think then you're covering your bases and hopefully you'll have nailed the timing whenever it is!! Hehehe you do get used to the changes in it though, don't you. The body is so magical how it does all of this!!!

@charlie0692 thank you chick, it was. I had a good cry at 1am. But I feel okay now. Positive and excited for the month ahead! How are you feeling? So I'm CD1 now, only 3 days behind you!

Yep ready for the next month @gigi318 that's the best way to look at it 😊 4 days in already! Hope it flys by! Still debating whether to get some ovulation tests to try this month or not ha. X

@charlie0692 exactly. And even though it doesn't feel like it at the time, a month isn't all that long to wait. So we've got this 👌🏻 what month are you on? I'm not a fan of that idea personally as I worry it will make me obsess and take away the fun of it all. So I plan to just see how this month goes! I'm now CD2 woohoo!

@gigi318 I'm on cycle 4 now. Think I'll just see how we get on this month and then start the ovulation tests next month if this month hasnt worked. I know what you mean, it can get so obsessive, I'm bad enough with pregnancy tests! I'm wanting to test from about 8dpo! Ha

@charlie0692 hehehe yes it's so easy for it to consume your days! I just want the bleeding to stop now and for me to be on CD7 😁 so exciting. I think that sounds to me chick. There's something about lucky cycle four I think! Two for me now! Well perhaps one if I'm actually approaching things properly 🤣

@gigi318 hahah 4 is my lucky number so I'm hoping this cycle is going to be the lucky one! Ha hopefully af will stop today for me so I can get to the fun bit hahaha.

@charlie0692 oh wow, so I hit the nail on the head with that one then. And I've seen lots of people conceive at cycle four. So yay! Yayyy that will be good. I think I will stop Saturday with the odd bit of spotting/CM and I'll be good to go for Monday 🙌🏻 OH won't know what's hit him 🙊

@gigi318 hahahah I'm going to aim for every other day but we will see 😂. Got everything crossed for us both this month! X

@charlie0692 I am going to do the same and then when I see EW maybe that day and the next. Hard to juggle isn't it but going to just go for it. I'm so excited 🙌🏻 hope we're not exhausted by the end of the month haha. Good luck to us 🤞🏻💫
