The dreaded tww

Hey, I'm currently in the dreaded tww. I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, one app says 8th other says 10th. So I'm either 8 or 10dpo. I tried a frer this morning and got a bfn (not surprised given I could only be 8dpo, but I couldn't resist). Anyone due to test in the next couple of days? I'm going to try and hold out until saturday, (af due between saturday and monday - had a weird short cycle last month so not sure if it will be the same this month) x

Happy Sunday, chick @charlie0692 how are you? Hurrah, not long to wait now. I'm CD6 and I think I'll be O a week from Tuesday (according to Flo) but I will see as I think going by EWCM is more reliable for me. As I do always get it. So it's just waiting until that happens 🙌🏻

@gigi318 I'm feeling really positive about this month 😊 I'm feeling dead calm and not worrying at all. Haha fast forward 2 weeks and I'll be driving myself insane symptom spotting most probably 🙈😂 x

@charlie0692 hehehe yes I'm feeling really calm and relaxed too. But also, that may stop when the TWW starts. I might have to pretend I'm still in the FW just to stop myself from going mad. 2 weeks feels like such a long time!!!

Hey @gigi318 how are you feeling? I think I'm 2dpo today. Both me and Dh have been so busy in work over the last week we have both been too tired to do anything 🙈 so I think I'm out for this month. X

@charlie0692 morning chick, how are you?? Oh that's good. Hurrah 2dpo. Now to keep yourself busy until you test. When is AF due. Oh no, I hope you've still caught. Did you DTD at all?? I think I am due to O on Monday-Tuesday. Had some twinges Friday night and all yesterday. So could be any time now. We are DTD to cover ourselves 🙊🤞🏻I think I will count Wednesday as 1dpo. Still on the lookout for EWCM! How are you feeling? X

@gigi318 we dtd last thurs, fri, then monday but nothing since so theres a little chance it may have worked, not hopeful though. Got my fingers crossed for you, seems like O due anytime now then. I have no symptoms at all, I think it's still way too early to get any yet though even if it has worked. Af due 16th so going to test next sunday/monday 😊 how are you feeling? X

@charlie0692 That could still have been good. Monday's swimmers may have just made it. Did you track O or just estimating. Could have OD earlier? Amazing. Yes I think it'll be any moment now so just trying to DTD as much as poss. We have Mon, Weds, yesterday and today so far. That's good and yes too early to tell for you. Not long to wait(ish) now. At least you're able to switch off now a bit. If you can!!

@gigi318 no I didnt properly track O as I've been so busy this week I've not even thought about it to be honest 🙈 it was either wednesday or thursday, I'm counting from thurs so 3dpo today.

Sounds like your going to be in with a very good chance this month! When is af due for you?

@charlie0692 that's good though, still good to keep up hope. I hope so, really trying to time it right 🤞🏻 AF is due on the 23rd so I will probably test then. I'm CD13 today and that would make it a 30day cycle. Hoping it all takes 🤞🏻💫 How are you feeling?

@gigi318 all sounding very positive for you 😊 I have my fingers crossed for you. Not really sure how I'm feeling at the min, theres part of me that really wants it to happen this month, but then a part of me that keeps thinking theres no rush it will happen when the times right. You?

@charlie0692 thank you chick, I'm hoping so. Will keep an eye out for EWCM though as I think I O later than expected last month, we shall see. Yes I know what you mean, it's so hard not to want it though, isn't it. But I do also believe, what will be will be. I'm feeling good at the moment. Excited to actually be proactive and not just waiting. But also itching to be in the TWW. Can't win 🤣🙈

@gigi318 haha I'm saying I'm not bothered now but i know I'll be gutted when I get a negative ha. I have another busy week in work this week so I'm hoping I wont be thinking about the tww too much. Haha its typical isn't it, we are wishing the weeks away to get to our bfp's 😂 x

Me!! I'm due AF around Wed/Thurs! Tested today and got a BFN so feeling a little deflated! I've had all the symptoms under the sun and this is cycle 1 of TTC baby number 1! I'm driving myself crazy already!

Hey @niffler1988 your still in with a good chance, it may be too early for you yet. I didn't get a bfp with ds until 12dpo and even that was very faint. Best of luck to you. Af not due until next weds for me so got a while yet before I can test 😊

@charlie0692 I know it's so funny, isn't it. We're nearly there though. Well not quite. My TWW hasn't even started again 🤣 but OH away now so technically I am just waiting. Luckily I have a lot planned to keep me busy!!
What cycle did you catch with DS? This is cycle 2 for me, although it feels like cycle 3 as I tested in August after a panic we had DTD over FW. But also feels like official cycle 1 as joined MN after my FW last month and now feel like I had no clue what I was doing 😂🙈

@Niffler1988 welcome! Eeek I'm also TTC baby number one. It does drive you mad, doesn't it. After everything I've read on here, I will never test early. I'm too scared 😂🙈 so stay strong. Hold off until Thursday or Friday if you can babe. Have you had any symptoms? Xx

@gigi318 I was really lucky with ds, I came off the pill, had one cycle then fell pregnant. So it happened really quickly last time, kind of made me think it would be the same this time but I guess not ha. I've been trying to remember if I had any early symptoms but all I can remember was being unbelievably tired all the time, I'd nap all weekend and through the week when I come home after work 😂 then the awful sickness kicked in at about 5 weeks, felt like i was hungover for about 2 months!

@charlie0692 how old is DS? I can imagine it's hard to remember - but also they say no two pregnancies are the same. So you could find the second is completely different! Oh wow, that sounds like a textbook pregnancy in the first trimester. I'm not going to lie, I am intrigued as to how it will go. I'm trying to stay positive and healthy, and hopefully I will enjoy it 🙌🏻🤞🏻💫

@gigi318 ds is 18 months old now 😊 keeping me busy, the months seem to be flying by. I know the second could be completely different😊 I try not to symptom spot anyway as so many are the same for af so just gets confusing and more upsetting when the bfn comes up on the tests x

@charlie0692 oh thats so lovely. I'm sure you've told me before - sorry! Yes, good that he is keeping you busy! Oh I know what you mean, I did that last month and was convinced. CONVINCED! But no such luck. This month, we've given it a better shot though! So 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@charlie0692 I'm hoping it was too early! My mum said she's never had a BFP, always had to have her bloods done at the docs before she can say she's pregnant! So fingers crossed, but as the days go by, I'm just expecting AF to come!

@Gigi318 thank you! I'm going to try to hold off until the weekend! Fingers crossed I can and no AF to ruin my plans! I've had every symptom under the sun, full & heavy boobs, cramps, spots, fatigue & insomnia, vivid dreams, headache, light headed, nausea, aversion to alcohol, sniffles etc...but I have a feeling that it's the placebo effect! I keep telling myself to stop symptom spotting and it's all in my head!

@Niffler1988 last month I has everything - full boobs, lumps on nipples, cramps, nausea, headaches, insomnia, constipation and I was sure I was. Then nothing. And last month was my first sort of month being proactive towards TTC 🙈 so I feel your pain. I really hope you've caught. It's such an exciting process though!!

@niffler1988 @gigi318 how are you both today? Trying my best not to symptom spot but this morning I've been getting some shooting pains really low down. Got my fingers crossed its implantation pains. Other than that I feel completely normal 😊 have you taken a test yet @niffler1988 I have no will power so I'd have tested by now if I was you 🙈 I ordered some frer yesterday and they should be here friday. Tempted to try one saturday, I'll only be 9dpo though so I really need to just wait. I read on one of these forums that a lady left the tests in her car until af due so she wasnt able to test first thing in the morning during tww... such a good idea, I think I'll have to do that friday when they arrive 😂

@charlie0692 I'm feeling good. A bit tired but in good spirits other than that. How are you? 5DPO might be a bit early for implantation but it could be! So exciting!! DEFINITELY don't test Saturday. I know some women do get squinters, but it's so disheartening if not. Or worse, the line goes away. Stay strong until at least a week today. 12DPO is still early, but somewhat acceptable 🤣🙈 you can do it! I should be ovulating now if I haven't already. So that's good. Hopefully a range of first-class swimmers are sat waiting for, or on their way to, the egg. Hurrah! So exciting. I just want the next two weeks to fly by!

Sorry ladies I've been so busy the past few days!! So AF has arrived Bang on time, typical! However, one positive is that my cycle seems to have regulated again so I should be able to track my O better! And looking at it, it doesn't seem like we actually DTD at the right time! How are you all doing? @charlie0692 @Gigi318

Hey @niffler1988 sorry to hear af has arrived. But good that your cycles have regulated. Mine used to be between 26 and 29 days but the last 3 cycles have been 26 days, af due next thursday. I'm holding off the urge to test 😫 I dont have any symptoms and I dont even think we dtd at the right point so I dont know why I'm in so much of a rush to test! How about you @gigi318?
