TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Gigi318 hi! Yes I'm OK thanks the worry is still here for sure, but trying to take each day as it comes.
I keep getting loads of niggly little pains on and off which I didn't have so early with ds, and I'm like 'what's that pain, what does that mean, is it a bad sign??'
I'm going to book a reassurance scan for few weeks time if all still OK, thinking about 8-9 weeks.
Anyway enough about me, you OK? Not long until Saturday now! Eeeek! Any more symptoms? Xx

@Nicecupofcoco I want to say try not to worry, but I can only imagine what it's like until you've had that scan 🤞🏻💫 8-9 weeks sounds good! Then we can countdown to that with you! I think it's normal and natural - the uterus expanding for baby. Yes I'm doing well, I've felt so so nauseous all day, in my throat - urgh. But feel much better now 🙌🏻 but I don't mind if it means BFP I'm happy - hopefully not just poorly 🙈

Evening update: watery brown discharge now on panty liner. Pain around left ovary and terrible backache x

Gigi318 thank you lovely! Yes definitely hoping its early pregnancy sickness and not poorly sickness.
Sorry @Katie1109 I've tried to catch up on thread but I've literally skimmed it, so unsure of your situation. Is it af? Or have you had a bfp? Sorry if I sound insensitive. Hope your OK. Xx

@Katie1109 does AF usually start like that? Or is this unusual for you?? are any of the symptoms like your usual AF?

So I've read about my cheapies that they don't show positives very clearly so I'm going to do a test on Saturday but take it with a pinch of salt if it's negative 😊. I've ordered a frer and that should come Monday/Tuesday. I'll be late by that time so hopefully AF hasn't arrived by then!

@Hewie30 that's okay chick! And that definitely sounds about right. Yay to the FRER! I've ummed and ahhed over getting one but I'm going to stick to my guns and use the CB I have. Can always order the FR if necessary! I'm sure AF won't arrive 🙊 I feel really anxious tonight 😒

@Gigi318 no, feeling quite symptom less apart from the odd twinge here and there. Quite tired but not as exhausted as I was with ds in first trimester, remember that hitting me about six weeks ish! So maybe a little early!
@Hewie30 sounds good about the FRER at least you will then know one way or the other. Fingers crossed lovely xx

@Nicecupofcoco that's quite nice though, so you can relax and not feel too poorly or exhausted - for now. It may all kick in soon 🙊🙈

@Gigi318 Awh are you! In a good or bad way? Yeah hun stick with clearblue for now, but remember if you get a negative their not as sensative so don't give up hope ❤️. Yeah I've read the one step ones I got don't come up with positives very quickly so if AF doesn't come (hopefully it won't) then I have them too!

@Hewie30 in a hormonal way. Have no idea why I feel like this. I'm never anxious 🙈 exactly, and I think that's why I've held off for so long. IF I get a BFN, I'll order FR - like you. But for now, we're going to hope CB comes through for me 🤞🏻yes, I've seen lots of ladies get the BFPs like a week after AF due (but not shown) testing every day and you can see the colour get darker and darker 🤞🏻💫

@Katie1109 the body does weird things doesn't it! Like others have said I'd wait and do another test in a few days just to be sure. A MC is bound to mess you up a bit, but apparently you are extra fertile straight after.

Are you all testing Saturday morning?? I'm gonna be like 👀👀👀

I've got 6 days till my FW and we are visiting a friend next weekend so have booked a travelodge, classy baby making! 😂

Ps I have 2 FRERs, 2 CBDs and 15 cheapies in the cupboard 😂😂😂 and I have amazon prime so it's not like I'd even have to wait long if I needed one 😂

@Makeafamily19 I can never keep up either! My cupboard sounds very similar to yours haha - far too many tests everywhere 😆

@gigi318 That sounds like a good plan to me! Yeah exactly! Alot of women don't get positives until their late or a week late so we still got this if we don't get positives 😊. Awh really! You getting mood swings or just anxious?

@makeafamily19 Haha Travelodge baby making, nothing wrong with that at all 😂😂. Wowza that's an amazing pregnancy test collection! I've got one step ones but I don't think their as sensative as they make out, I've read alot of women get positive when their late or get them on other tests first so I've ordered a frer just incase but it doesn't come until Monday/Tuesday!

@Gigi318 gosh your so lucky! I struggle to sleep on a night anyway, normally 12/1 when I can manage to drift off then up at 8, hense me working nights 😅 I can sleep all through the day it's silly really!!

I haven't had any nausea yet 🤞🏻 and according to my app I'm not 6+1 well I will be after midnight 😆

@Nicecupofcoco I know I'm counting down the days 👏🏼 just hope everything goes ok and little peanut is growing well with a strong little heart beat, then will be another 5 weeks till the next scan aha 😅 least I can enjoy my holiday with ease!!

Morning all x absolutely nothing overnight for me. Boobs are no longer sore since it all started and that always happens when af arrives so i will just assume it’s af now and move on x no point having false hope x how are you ladies?

Where it's officially month one for me I just have the two CBs - early & digi so will use them first and order a FR if need be. Hopefully not 🤞🏻

@flossy12 it's funny how we're all so different! It's good you do night shifts then as it suits your sleeping pattern. Does your OH do days? Good for looking after future peanut 👌🏻 yay exciting. Hope the nausea stays away for you babe!

Ladies, also, quick question (because I am so new to all of this) when you POAS using FMU, do you have to try and not pee in the night? I woke at 3am for a wee last night and this morning I didn't go for very long. So if I wake tonight should I try and hold it? Thank you all in advance 😘😘😘

Hi @Gigi318 I had brown and spotting Tuesday, very little blood Wednesday and Thursday and nothing so far today x
They say to hold wee for minimum 3 hours before testing so I’d say try not to go for a wee or test if you do go at night x

@Katie1109 so potentially the three days in total. Either a good thing, or like you say, a messed up period! I guess you can either treat Tuesday as CD1 or maybe test in a few days if you're still unsure? It's a tough one! Thanks babe, I think I will try and hold off or if I have to go in the night I will take the thing with me. Eeeekk 🙈🙈🙈

@katie1109 Is your AF normally this short? Definitely sounds weird! If you get nothing anymore by the weekend of the weekend I'd definitely test if I were you.

@Gigi318 Personally I would just go - but I almost always wake up for a wee at night. As somebody who's UTI prone I try to stay away from holding my wee for too long, not worth the consequences.

I'd do the test at whichever had been the longer stretch of time (like if you went to bed at midnight and are not getting up till 8am, and you wake up at 3am I'd test with the morning wee. If you go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 6am and wake up at 3am, test with the 3am wee).

Trying to up my water intake lately but having to pee loads when I try and drink more 🙄😂 suppose it's just what I gotta do 🤷🏼‍♀️
