TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Hewie30 none of this negativity nonsense until AF is here and even then it's still another chance for next month. You're healthy, you're happy, so we've got this - okay. Plus we're twinning on this so you can't leave me hanging!!! Tomorrow is the day to test - I hope you have another test to use. I feel all heavy too - but this isn't how AF starts for me, so we shall see. And she's not due for another 4-5 days. We're still in the game!!! Lols - an indent. Be positive, stay calm, and we'll reassess again tomorrow. Hope you have a good day planned?? 🥂

Morning all. How are we doing? Well my AF is due today, that's if I count my 1st day of mc bleed as day one of my cycle, although I think I ovulated between 1-3 of Sept I cannot be sure because I do not temp or use opk's. This morning feels like af is coming, but I had only very little pinkish spot of blood when wiping. Could I have ovulated later and this is my implantation bleed? Normally when Af arrives, it arrives in a full swing without any prior spotting. I know, I know probably clutching at straws here lol x Boobs still extremely sore, but it normally subsides the moment AF starts, cramps feel like it is my af, but oh god knows. Loosing a plot. I think I'll just assume it's my af?! :)

@Katie1109 morning love, yay for AF due day and no sign of her yet. The pinkish wipe sounds wonderful - well, not really but in this context it does 🤣 I've heard pinkish is a positive sign. Enough to fill a pad or just bits and bobs? I say everything is looking good until you have AF in full flow. When did you last test? Maybe the morning would be good??

And don't worry about thinking you're losing the plot - you're not babe, you're just in tune with your body. I swear one day I feel like I'm going nuts and the next I'm confident. This TWW thing sure does drive a woman mad - if only men knew 😂🙈

Hi @Gigi318 loving your positivity! It was literally one little spot on wiping. I have a panty liner on and there's only a sesame seed size spot of blood on it - yes I did just go an check in the middle of writing this lol :) But I feel like AF is about to start in a full swing, the cramping is getting worse. I'm just surprised and probably wishful thinking because I never get a warning of AF in the form of spotting, it just normally starts full on. Maybe my mc last month changed things a bit. I haven't ordered any pg tests, but I might if AF does arrive properly by lunchtime x
Also, normally before AF my sex drive is low, but last night?! Oh boy my poor OH was knackered lol :)

@Gigi318 yay! ☺️ well I for one love it 😁 I know! Just going to be hard to not baby shop when sister is there or she might catch on 😅😅

I defo need to start taking breaks cause I'm always tired ha!

@Katie1109 that sounds positive to me and very much agree that if she's not here by lunchtime then go ahead and order. Even if AF comes then you've got them ready for next month! I suppose your cycle could be all off after the mc, or it could be a nice little bean burying itself in? Either way, try to be positive if you can. You'll only worry yourself sick otherwise. Well, you know what they say about pregnant women and sex... 👌🏻

@flossy12 probably so and you want to hang on a few more weeks before telling her, don't you. I'd be the same though. Can't you say you need to buy something for a baby shower 😏 she doesn't have to know its yours hehehe! Yes rest up and eat all of the carbs, yummy!!!

Hey all, just thought I would join this if it’s still active? I have been TTC for 6 months (this is my 6th month now) and feeling a bit discouraged really.
I am 26, just got married last month but we wanted to start trying before then.
Been tracking ovulation the whole 6 months and I am definitely ovulating according to ovulation test strips and had EWCM. Prior to the 6 months TTC I had been on the pill for 9 years or so, as me and husband have been together since 16/17 and hadn’t wanted children until we had a house and stable jobs for a few years.

@Katie1109 It could most definitely be implantation if it's just been one wipe that that's it 😍😍😍. Eeek!! Fingers crossed for you!! Are you going to test if you don't come on today? 💓. You've got this!!

@flossy12 Oooo that temptation!! You might be able to sneak something and pay for it when she's not looking? 😂😉

@Hewie30 that's the spirit. Yes looking N atm, or faint. But no AF so don't worry so much 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

All the yummy food! Been eating so healthy since I found out 😅 don't even want bad food! I know! Wee going to tell my parents and sister when I'm 8 weeks just before my holiday ☺️

@GalaxyGirl24 that's okay chick, I'm new too but picked it all up quickly - you'll get there. That's good. How many dpo? When is AF due. You're not far behind most of us I think, yay!!

@Hewie30 and @Gigi318 yeah I will order pg tests lunchtime if af doesn't arrive in full swing by then and I'll test tomorrow or day after. Don't know how long it takes for hcg to rise after implantation if that's what this is. Cramps seem to have subsided a bit, but still feel a bit of dull ache down there. I'm trying to stay positive but I think deep inside I know I'm out x even if I am, that's alright at least I know that my cycles have returned straight to normal after mc x @Gigi318 where are you in your cycle hun?
@Hewie30 I cannot see anything on that test, but as long as no af you're still in the running x

@Katie1109 that's the spirit chick, AF is a new chance to start again! But I do also hear that Hcg doubles or something so gets stronger and stronger each day or every other day - ladies feel free to correct me if I've got that completely wrong 🤣🙈 I'm CD25 of a quite regular 29-30 day cycle. So testing Saturday 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Fingers crossed for Saturday @Gigi318 ! My cramps have completely gone now and still no af, I am trying really hard to not get my hopes up. I started to feel really lightheaded in the last 15 minutes, don't really know where this came from x

@Katie1109 I was like that yesterday and Saturday. Hope it means something and I'm not just making myself sick by overthinking 🤣🙈 still no AF is a good sign. We've got this!

@Gigi318 I got a Peak ovulation result on 11/9/19 from a CB digital, so 6 days post ovulation but may be less if I ovulated for a couple days after that peak also....I've just done a PG test but no idea why because it's far too early but I just couldn't stop myself - BFN.

I know 6 months isn't long, and some people struggle on for years but it feels a lifetime and it feels like it's all my issue as we've had some tests and my husbands sperm is fine but I had low progesterone at one point. Not hugely low but not ideal either.

@GalaxyGirl24 definitely 6dpo then I'd say. I know the egg only lasts 24 hours or so, so I'm guessing you're there or thereabouts. Hold out, it's super super early for you right now. I know loads of ladies test early but it's so unlikely you'd get a reading (based on everyone's I've seen) and so many go on to get those BFPs even up to a week after AF is missing. Try to keep yourself calm and positive as you may be secretly stressed about it all and it could impact your body. 6 months is such a long time - it does feel like a lifetime, but you are going to get there okay. This month could even be your month - so tell yourself that 'this month is my month' and if not (not that I'm a fan of doubt) you're getting closer to being able to get help if you should need it, but I don't think you will. You sound healthy, if just a little stressed out by it all. And it's such a trying time, we all feel it babe. So we will support you!

AF got me this morning. Got my hopes up yesterday as my spotting stopped (never happens before AF), I was not having usual AF cramps, I felt really sick Sunday and yesterday and actually threw up in the morning. Felt really dizzy as well. Why does the body drive you crazy?! I feel like there's no point symptom spotting now as it's just going to mess with my mind, but at the same time I can't help it 🙈

Trying to stay positive for cycle 4! This has to be my month! Perfect timing for a Christmas announcement!

@Makeafamily19 that's the perfect attitude to have, lovely! Cycle 4 is your month. Now that AF is here, just try to relax and enjoy a few days off from overthinking or worrying! And then the fun starts - enjoy DTD and try to relax even then if you can - it'll help 🤞🏻👌🏻

@Gigi318 haha as if! I have it rarely but thought I'd treat myself 😆 sister has picked me up and offered me a cigarette how do explain that I'm not smoking 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
