Trying for number 3

Hi. I'm new to mumsnet, I have a 5 year old boy and 3 year old girl. Currently trying for number 3, only on the first month and on the 2 week wait. I didnt really have to try with the other 2 and this is not good for an impatient person 😆 anyone else trying for number 3?

Hi, I'm currently TTC number 2, have a 2 and half year old. Didn't really have to try for her, conceived within in the first month of stopping the pill. Came off the pill 5 weeks ago and had a negative test this morning and from inpatient! Had what I thought was an implantation bleed this week so a tad disappointed!

My 2 were conceived both within a month of coming off contraception, I've not been on any contraceptive for about 6 months but have been using condoms so no hormones to get rid of from my body. I keep thinking ooh I'm really tired I might be pregnant, ooh I feel a bit sick I might be pregnant, ooh my boobs feel a bit funny I might be pregnant 😆 if it takes a while I might drive myself mad 🙈 x

I'm a week post ovulation and have some sore nipples, random nausea and I feel like I'm going to come on my period any minute but I'm not due for a week so im hoping it's a sign of something happening.

Hi, I'm Also ttc number 3. I have a 2 and 3 year old. We have been trying this time for about 6 months. I didn't have to try to much with the first 2 it just kind of happened so I'm terrible now with poas and I have zero patience Grin 9dpo today and bfn. Af due in 2 days so hopefully she doesn't show up x

Me! Also no trying really with the first two. Am v impatient and worried have missed the boat this month. Age and the fact we don’t want a big gap means extra pressure for BFP! AF due in six days...

I'm due af on the 13th. I'm really impatient too. 22 month gap between 1 and 2 and getting pregnant now would mean a nearly 4 and nearly 6 year gap and I really don't want it much more than that x

I'm the same. Wanted 3 and all quite close. There is 15 month between my first two but my youngest is currently being assessed for autism which kind of pushed things back.
Iv had such bad cramps for about 3 days which is strange for me as its normally for about an hour before af arrives. Making dh get some more tests today when he finishes work as I'm terrible and can't wait 😂

I bought a bunch of cheap strip ones off amazon for a few quid and just keep them in the cupboard. If I get a positive on one of those I'll buy a better one just to make sure or waybe wait a week and buy a digi. Good luck :)

I normally do the same. Just been getting the 3 packs this month from b and m for 79p lol. I thought I had some left hut went to test today and realised id ran out. So sending the husband later. I did the same with the digi with my first two. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. The cramping is confusing me. I suppose I will know in the next few days if af shows her face xx

I'm trying not to get my Hope's up too but its hard when the other 2 were so easy. I've not really done the trying thing before it's just happened haha x

Yep I know what you mean. I fell pregnant with my first the day I moved in with my now husband and my second on out wedding night. Both not really trying but not preventing. This time it's our 6th month actually trying. I have convinced myself there was a v v faint line on yesterday's test but now all the cramping I think af is on the way. But I don't normally cramp this long. Ah! I hate waiting haha xxx

Impatiently took a test this morning. 100% negative, can't help feeling a little disappointed even though I'm still not due on for a week. X

Amy Lou any sign of AF? I'm feeling so impatient, 7 days until test day and I keep feeling like I could fall asleep mid day, random bits of nausea and my boobs are ok until I take my bra off then they feel massive and sore. But I don't "feel pregnant" x

Still no af. But still bfn so I'm confused. I'm never late. I'm exhausted all of the time, can't eat properly as I feel sick, funny taste in my mouth and crying at the littlest things haha. Really don't know what's going on xx

So. I gave my tests to my hubby. 6 days until I'm due on and I demanded he doesn't give me them back until AF is late so if no AF a week today I'll test again but I'm driving myself mad at the moment. Bought some first response which can show from 6 days before AF is due I.e today but it's a clear negative. I feel so silly

I am trying for 3rd baby too! My eldest is 5 and youngest is 3 in September. 2 1/2 years between them and they get on so well I'm already worried this one will be left out due to a bigger age gap!

I'm due AF on 15th but am also resisting the urge to test 😂 despite convincing myself I have lots of symptoms 🤦🏻!

So still no af, I'm officially late now. Gunna test again later when hubby is home, had the faintest ever line yesterday but he reckons I'm seeing things haha.
Hi @pinkpeoniesplease I know what you mean about the bigger age gap. I'm already worrying about that as my first two were so close together.
@beccamums29 Iv been testing since about 8dpo lol. I'm terrible hubby isn't happy I keep sending him for more tests. It's so hard waiting

Hi all! I've had the implant removed a couple of months ago and just started my first period so hopefully get back to normal cycles soon... currently have a 4 year old and 2 year old (17 month age gap) DH is keen for a third and I think I'm at the stage to start trying now.. eek! Sending babydust to all x

Same age gap worries here, 24 mths between 1 and 2 and will be at least 3.5 years between 2 and 3. Can’t have four either! Are we doing the right thing?! Af due tmw...

I dont really think there's any right age gap... I think whatever your family is will just work out because that's how it is! :)
