Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?
Thanks x

@littlelisa34 yes I'm okay thank you. The witch arrived yesterday and I certainly know about it. Cramps are agony today 😔 hopefully it's not on the way for you! Focusing on cycle 6 now. All ready with preseed and SMEP.

Hewie30 · 20/08/2019 14:26

Hi!

Do you ladies mind if I join? I'm 30 and TTC my first. The witch kindly turned up for my on Sunday 🙄, so onwards to cycle 4! My cycles seem to be between 34-35 day cycles although I have been taking pregnacare so thinking maybe it's prolonged it? Haven't heard of it doing that until reading this thread 🤔 xxx

littlelisa34 · 20/08/2019 14:29

@tryingforbabyone sorry to hear that hun horrible when she arrives but seems that little bit worse when it's a bad month.. on the bright side glad you've got a plan all ready to go I think it's much better when you go into a cycle positive.. hopefully this one will be your month 😁

Thank you I'm hoping she doesn't show either not sure how I'm going to feel if she hasn't arrived by tomorrow, tomorrow will be the longest my cycle has ever been 31 days but that's when I was taking pregnacare and they messed with my cycle haven't taken it for over a month so I'm hoping that's not why I'm late, think that's why I'm trying to hold out testing in case it is because of that but if I can get past tomorrow I might feel a little more hopeful..

Hi all, just noticed blue veins on my boobs are very visible, does that mean anything? I haven't noticed them being that prominent before. I'm 18DPO and still no af.

littlelisa34 · 20/08/2019 14:36

@Hewie30 welcome I started taking pregnacare a month before I started TTC but missed a few here and there, then I had always had bang on 26 day cycles ever since I was around 15 years old never late maybe once in a blue moon it would arrive a day early but very rare.. then month two of TTC i was late by two days but didn't put the two together then month three I was on 29 days and then last month I went to 31 day and I realised that's the only thing that had changed in the previous months so I did some research and absolutely loads of women had had there cycles delayed so I stopped taking and now I just take folic acid only and when I am lucky to get a bfp then I will restart with the pregnacare.. although lots of women had some success with them they obviously just weren't for me..

littlelisa34 · 20/08/2019 14:37

@Katie1109 it's a good sign are veiny boobs

Hewie30 · 20/08/2019 15:18

Thank you 😁.
Oh really? That's so strange isn't it! You wouldn't expect it to do that to your cycle 🤔. Have you been off contraception for a while?
I came off beginning of May, had my withdrawal few days later then my first period 4 weeks later so cycle dates have been 32, 34 and 35 🤣🤦 xx

littlelisa34 · 20/08/2019 15:24

@Hewie30 no worries.. i know I would never have expected pregnacare to do that to my cycle.. I have never been on contraception so it's never something I have ever looked into always just been extra careful but I have read a lot of ladies take a while to get back to a normal cycle

escocesita · 20/08/2019 15:41

Hi all!

I'm 33 and TTC #1. I came off the pill in May and fell pregnant this month. Sadly I think it was a chemical pregnancy which ended at 5 weeks. Was very disappointed and sad.

Am planning to give myself a bit of a break and then try again without the apps and OPKs. I was also a very early tester but I'm thinking about waiting until at least a week after period. I feel like in my case it made the chemical pregnancy even more disappointing.

Hope you are doing well today!

Well ladies I woke up this morning with cramps so I was researching things about maybe I didn't ovulate and that's why my cycle wasn't starting so I thought I should take a test to make sure I definitely wasn't but I only have clearblue digitals in the house and I didn't want to waste any money on a FRER because I was convinced I wasn't and I just got my BFP.... I'm in absolute shock other than cramps I've had nothing to indicate that I was

Please help !
Right, I do not really know what is going on. I had a really strong pain on my right side this morning and 3 hours later started to bleed, do not know how much because I assumed it was my 5 days late af and put the tampon in. Normally my boobs stop being sore the moment my af arrives but they seem to have got worse! Also I'm cramping, but not like period cramps at all. I'm feeling so confused, can I still be pregnant?! I thought I had all the symptoms :(

@littlelisa34 congrats hun!!

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 10:18

@Katie1109 thanks Hun.. if your still unsure don't use a tampon Hun.. have you took a test today?? Was it like your normal AF?

Katie1109 · 21/08/2019 10:22

Hi @littlelisa34. I had no choice had to use tampon because I did not take a pad with me to work today. I will be at home around 12 and will take it out, also some clear blue test are meant to arrive today. Is there even a point in testing? It does not feel like my normal af and now I'm feeling very dull pain all over the place and I'm freezing cold to the point of shivering :( What is going on with me?

Hewie30 · 21/08/2019 10:40

@littlelisa34 Congratulations hun!! Happy and healthy 9 months to you 🙂. Did you only get cramps and no other symptoms? X

Hewie30 · 21/08/2019 10:43

@katie1109 Is it spotting? Id take a test just incase hun to reassure yourself. It could be that your pregnant as some women experience spotting in early pregnancy x

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 10:43

@Katie1109 I think you should definitely test because all the signs show unusual for you and not normal af symptoms and honestly the body is a very strange thing and maybe these are your symptoms I don't know but I think you should test to make sure.. I was really cold these last couple of days but that's not unusual for me I'm a bit of a cold arse but maybe that something for you I know it's hard but try and stay positive hun xx

Katie1109 · 21/08/2019 10:46

@littlelisa34 and @Hewie30 I don’t really know what it looks like until I take tamping out when I get home in about an hour. Depending on what it looks like I will test, I’ll try not to gross you out and stop myself from posting tampon photos lol x I’m feeling so confused and like I need to sit in the corner somewhere and cry my eyes out x

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 10:47

@Hewie30 thanks Hun..still really early so I'm trying not to get too over excited I'm more shocked than anything.. yeah just cramps which I swear were exactly the same as when AF is about to start.. slightly sore bobs but nothing that would make me think it was anything and I was looking for this increase in CM and honestly I haven't had any of that just a slight bit when I wipe.. all that I've read up on I was looking for these stand out symptoms but shows there doesn't have to be to get a BFP x

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 10:48

@Katie1109 I know Hun but you just never know and until you take a test try not to worry like @Hewie30 said some women spot early on in pregnancy so if it's not a lot you still might be in with a good chance x

Hewie30 · 21/08/2019 10:54

@littlelisa34 Awh bless you I bet!! We all keep an eye out for symptoms and when we don't get them we assume it's not our month, I'm so happy for you though it's amazing news 😁. Oh really? That just goes to show that you really never know, even if you think AF is coming you can still get your positive ❤️. How long have you been trying? Have you told your other half? Bet he's so excited! X

Hewie30 · 21/08/2019 10:56

@Katie1109 It's okay hun you can gross us out 🤣🤣. If it's not your normal AF symptoms and you feel out of sorts definatly test, try not to worry. I know it's easier said then done but you got us here for support, let us know when your home and you've taken the tampon out 🤞. Hopefully it's just spotting x

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 11:07

@Hewie30 this is our 5th month and compared to some women hasn't taken very long but it seems like forever..yeah I definitely though AF was on its way I was even googling not ovulating which would make me miss AF this cycle I only tested to make sure it was a BFN so I could tell the doctor didn't even use FMU it was my third time going for a wee.. yeah I had planned on doing like a special surprise for him but I couldn't hold it I rang him and told him he was as shocked a I was x

Katie1109 · 21/08/2019 11:11

@littlelisa34 and @Hewie30 thank you so much for your support. I haven't said anything to my fiancé yet because I do not want him to worry either way so at least I do not feel lonely x I will be home in 30 minutes, so will update you on what the flow looks like.

littlelisa34 · 21/08/2019 11:14

@Katie1109 that's what us on these threads are for to celebrate good stuff but to get each of us through these crappy TWW hurdles.. good luck for when you get home will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you Hun 😁xx

tryingforbabyone · 21/08/2019 11:21
