Any one else in the two week wait I'm 8DPO

Sweetpea12 It's possible to get a faint BFP at 10dpo, I did when I was expecting DD. But it's also possible that the hormone level won't be high enough yet.

I find I'm more distracted during the day if I don't test, so I'm taking a cheapy in the morning and then when it's negative I can get on with my day. That's very individual though, and it's still early days for me, I can well understand it gets better not to test the longer you've been trying.

Hi guys (i've posted this in a new thread but no one has replied so wondered if anyone in here might be able to help me?

I'm 24 DPO! and 10 days late.

I took a pregnancy test when i was 6 days late and it was a BFN.

I'm planning on testing again but my AF still hasn't arrived, I wouldn't say I have really had any symptoms other than been more tired. I've had so many times where I thought I was and convinced myself I had symptoms but this month nothing.

anyone been in this situation before? any advise?

I was reading up last night and apparently some women just produce lower levels of hcg (can vary from pregnancy to pregnancy in the same woman too).

This might have already been mentioned but apparently the Superdrug pink dye tests pick up hcg when it gets to 10 whereas the Clearblue (the ones with the cross) don’t pick up the hcg until it gets to 25. I tested with a Clearblue test. Off to Superdrug to get some of their pink ones!

Sounds similar to me. Have you tried the Superdrug pink tests, for the reasons I mentioned above?

Sorry I can’t be more help. I read a thread on netmums last night and one poster didn’t get a BFP until she was 28 days late. Eek!

@Kenny33 I used the first response when i was 6 days late but that came back negative.

@MindyStClaire that’s always good to hear I’m strangely ok with getting BFN this was my first month tracking ovulation and not counting myself out until AF comes. This is my first month TTC so hopefully have lots of cycles ahead of me where I can try again

@Gems7 Yes, I’ve had some nausea and sore boobs and have also been very emotional - cried at baby clothes in Next the other day 🙈 (can’t help but look for them) but drove myself crazy last cycle and had completely convinced myself I was pregnant and was v upset when AF arrived, so trying to get my hopes up/obsess, but it’s SO hard!

Can I jump on the bandwagon too? I'm on cycle 2 TTC. First cycle was much longer than k expected and I didn't ovulate till cd 19 (confirmed by clear blue opk)

I'm cd 26 today and according to the Flo app based on last month I'm 8dpo today but annoyingly I didn't get a positive opk this month. I've read that if you only test once per day you can miss the surge though so trying not to be too disheartened.

I'm sure my cycles were always around 28 days though and last month was 32 bit I don't know if that was just because I'd just come off my pill.

So because I'm still not really sure how long my cycles are or when I ovulated I'm a bit lost at the moment. I'm basing testing and ovulation on 32 days same as last month but really just guessing which is a bit frustrating.

Sorry for the long post, needed a bit of a rant!

When is everyone testing? Did you guys use OPKs or just relying on apps being correct? Fingers crossed for you all!

@Kenny33 yeah I've read on here somewhere that the pink ones are more reliable, the ones I've tested with were pink but internet cheapies I haven't actually tested with a frer yet.. trying to hold out, feel so crampy and tired today though AF will most likely arrive before then.
@Minibea I'm trying to wait until the end of the week to test, had a BFN last fri/sat. AF Is due thurs, or so my app says anyway. Think it's worked it out off my last cycle which was 28 days but they aren't always that short so there's a sliver of hope yet. Me and my other half did the BD every day for about 10 days (poor sod) haha so if ovulation date is wrong on my app there's still chance I suppose xx

@MindyStClaire re being ok with the BFN - I'm now 11DPO, got a BFN this morning, and I know it's still early, I could still get a BFP, but somehow seeing it negative when I could be getting positives has made me calmer? Like, if it's negative, that's ok, and it's way less stressful than the waiting?!

Arggg driving myself mad. It's too early but I've been poas for 4 days now. I had this gut instinct (desperate hope?) that this would be our month but I'm getting the usual pre-period bloated feeling so I'll probably come on any day.

That said, I've been having boob twinges which I don't usually get with my period. And on Saturday I had a proper hot flush, feeling clammy and premenstrual.

I was told when trying to conceive DS (3 years ago) that I had a low egg reserve so I guess it could just be the menopause. Still holding out hope that it was implantation though!!

So faint positive on cheapie had disappeared after a few hours.. going to do a FR in the morning 3 days before AF is due.. still getting that's feeling that AF will arrive any minute x

Hi guys. Probably in the 2WW although no clue because I didn’t get a positive OPK and no temp changes. On fertility treatment too so not feeling too optimistic this cycle! I think the waiting is much harder than when AF comes and I can just move on 🙈

I've caved, finishing work and going home via ASDA for an FRER, second sample at the GP this morning tested negative for a uti. Been having the weirdest feelings down there all day at work and having to nip for a wee constantly it's driving me mad! Will test in the morning

@Naomi9313 Well.. i WAS going to test with an FRER in the morning until I stupidly sent my other half in for it and he bought the wrong flipping one!! He got rapid response and god only knows what hcg that one picks up because I cannot find the info anywhere haha
Currently led sprawled out on the sofa "twinging" like mad and trying my best to ignore them and not over analyze! But I've decided anyway if I'm not pregnant I'm definately bat shit crazy!

Bet he's in the good books 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Iv been the same all night literally trying not to think too much about it but we all do.. this two weeks of not knowing is enough to make anyone crazy haha.. I wasn't like this with my DD but I feel like it's because I'm older now it's scarier how long it might take. Thank you.. fingers crossed for you too when hubby gets you the right one ha xx

Hi guys, can I join too? Had my CB static smiley face on Saturday, so guessing 2dpo. On the run up to ovulation I swear I had pain in both ovaries - anybody else had this?

Although I don’t feel like shagging, I am feeling very clingy towards DP at the moment and have been for about a week. Wondering if that was some kind of pregnancy hormone kicking in.

BFN on FR so think I'm out x
