TTC - Fresh Off The Pill

Hi,

Just wondering if there is anyone else fresh off the pill?

Took last pill 25th May, had breakthrough bleed 30th May to 3rd June

Not had any sign of AF yet. I was on Microgynon pill for about 7 years or so.

How long did it take for your first AF after stopping the pill?

Hi. I'm 3 weeks off. Took my last pill 14th june. Had a withdrawal bleed. Absolutely convinced I'm already pregnant but negative test today. I was on it for about 5 years

I had loads of symptoms a few weeks after coming off the pill but unfortunately i'm not pregnant yet 😢

Took my last pill first week in April, had a withdrawal bleed in the first few days and nothing since :(

Hate to put the downers on you as everyone is different but I stopped the pill in January. Had my withdrawal, then waited 74 days for a period then 54 days

Still waiting for the third cycle

If i'd have known i'd have come off the pill a long while before now!

I was expecting to come off and be back to normal straight away x

@mrsccc I was the same if i knew I would have come off a lot sooner I had no idea that it wasn’t even a real period, I thought it was better to regulate my cycles

I didn't know any of that either. My boyfriend has only given us 6 months. Hoping I was one of those extra fertile right after stopping lol

I was on the pill (combined then minipill) for a long time. Everybody is different when they come off- lucky people get preggers right away, others have a good few months until cycles are regular. I had 57 days until first period. My second cycle has been 44 days. Third cycle now, have to wait and see how long this one is!

I came off the pill early February & didn't have a period for 4 months (129 day cycle) but I did have the odd bit of spotting in-between. Currently on cd 20, started using opk tests but keep getting a total negative as in I don't even get a faint 2nd line so I think it's going to be another long cycle 😔

Everyone is different though, I've seen lots of ladies comment that their cycles went back to normal very quickly or they got pregnant straight away. I think it depends what they were like before going on the pill. Mine were never regular to start with, that's one thing I liked about the pill - I actually knee when to expect AF!

I was very clockwork off the pill I only took it because I loved the control it gave me.

Was hoping I'd go back to normal straight away but not looking likely!

I was pretty regular too, I liked the option of knowing when exactly to expect my period, I had the implant in until about 2 years ago now and when I got it removed I didn’t have a period for 5 months so the doctor put me back on the pill to regulate things as he said, if I’d of known i would of just left it and let them get back to normal themselves I thought I was doing the right thing

I felt quite confident I could do it in 6 months til I came on here lol and read up about gettimg back to normal after the pill

I was getting myself in a panic and then I thought I may just relax and let it happen when it happens. I think once I know what I want I want it yesterday I’m so inpatient lol

Came off the pill 4 weeks ago (cerezette) no withdrawal bleed or period...... however I got a very faint positive test on weds... along with very sore boobs and hellish nausea.
Still think I'm imagining it all tho x

If I haven't had a period before Saturday I'm gonna take another test. Then just leave it until i convince myself again.
