TTC - Fresh Off The Pill

Hi,

Just wondering if there is anyone else fresh off the pill?

Took last pill 25th May, had breakthrough bleed 30th May to 3rd June

Not had any sign of AF yet. I was on Microgynon pill for about 7 years or so.

How long did it take for your first AF after stopping the pill?

@BasinHaircut I just can't get my head around it as all my IC tests are still showing a negative.
But yet my body is screaming all the signs at me x

I had a drink last night. I felt guilty which is silly but still. I had 3 cocktails. Felt like I had so much more. And this morning I feel like crap

@Yvonne1988 lol I did that last weekend after a couple of southern comforts and coke..... absolutely blotto.
Can usually drink loads more but the feeling the next morning was far from good

I can't drink loads but I can drink more than one without it going to my head haha it was like drinking on an empty stomach but I had a chippy about half 5. It was only 8 and I was drooling over pizza. I'm still convinced lol

Came off the pill in December. Had withdrawal and then one cycle. Now over 100 days since last period. I’m tracking on Flo. I was on various pill types for about 12 years. I don’t really remember what my cycle was like before. I’m 28. Don’t want to ttc until my cycle is back to normal....what ever that is

Iv always had a fitbit and I knew just before I stopped my pill my resting heart rate went up then as soon as I was on my break it went down. I'm looking at it now and I don't know what it means. It went up from low 60s to 70 dropped to 68 for a few days now up to 71.. just something else to obsess over 😂

So I done an opk yesterday and one again today and both times I've got lines but they're not as dark as the control. What does this mean?!x

Me again....... well it appears that my faint positive may of actually been a false positive or an evap line (even tho I read it within the time frame)....... all the rest of the tests I have done since have been negative including the first response ones :(
Confusing thing is, I still have the hellish nausea and sore boobs.... ugh what's happening?! X

I came off Cerelle (similar to Cerazette) on 24th June. Had some bleeding but have a mild UTI infection so not had withdrawal bleed yet. Was also hoping I would be extra fertile too but obviously too early to tell at the moment.

@Mrsccc I'm not sure as I've been on the mini pill for 8 and a half years..... will be 5 weeks this Sunday that I stopped taking it.
(Sorry if TMI) we only started DTD from the 19th June but I've been getting nausea and sore boobs for the past 2 weeks now.
I've had no withdrawal bleed or period yet.... just that dodgy faint positive test last weds, all tests have been negative since then so I'm not sure what is going on x

I stopped taking the pill after 10 years (Microgynon 30 & rigevidon) on the 2nd of April. Had normal withdrawal bleed then first normal cycle was 30days. 2nd cycle was 34 days and now Im waiting on 3rd cycle on day 32 so far.. I thought it was coming at the start of the week as I had spotting for a few days but thats all stopped again. I thought if the cycles came they would get shorter in between not longer as I've seen other people saying longer cycles that come down in days. anyway.. because I really wanna try this month Im like freaking myself out that its taking its time in coming. I know its not as long as some people wait etc but I am a constant worrier and actually i'm sure stressing about it actually makes it later... sorry for the long story this is my first post about any of my details as I've just been a reader on here for a while

Hello, yeah of course!

I don't really understand any of this as so many people say different things and every one is different!

I'm now on day 43 and the past 2 days i've had lines on 3 different brands of opk's but not as dark as i would have expected. i don't know if this means im ovulating or near to ovulating or what 😫

It's all so confusing!

After stopping the pill and waiting for first af I had loads of symptoms- especially cramps and nausea. I think as your body gets used to it's own hormones you can feel a bit strange. But you can get similar symptoms with pregnancy so it's all confusing! For me I got BFN so I knew it was just hormone readjustment symptoms.

As for cycle length- everyone is different. I went from 57 days to 44 days 2nd cycle. Now on cycle 3 and hoping it will be shorter again. Some people go back to normal straight away. Others might be up and down for many months.

I'm afraid we just have to be patient while own bodies do their thing. Frustrating time though if you aren't a lucky one who gets pregnant straight away!

our bodies are definitely doing their own thing. shame they couldn't tell the brain so we dont worry! coming off the pill after 10 years I have no idea what my periods were like before it and until all this really didn't realise the 'period' you have on it isn't even a real one!

I feel like i'm constantly stressing about it! I just hate not knowing what is going on!

yeah Im stressing about it too but Im sure it doesnt help us.. probably makes it worse tbh. if only things were straightforward would make it soo much easier on us all.. then going through all this I think to myself omg how do so many people get pregnant when they arent even trying lol

I came off the pill at the beginning of April, had my withdrawal bleed, counted 1st days of flow as CD1, 39 day cycle, so not even sure if I ovulated that cycle. Got my BFP CD28 of second cycle. I wanted to give everyone hope, I was on the pill for 15 years.

Hi Ladies hoping i can join too. I came off Microgynon 30 & rigevidon on 16th June and had wihtdrawal bleed 19th - 23rd June so now just wiating to see what my body is doing really as don't know what to expect with regards to cycles etc

I feel your frustration. I came off the pill nearly 2 months ago after 10 years and have yet to have AF. I have had 2 lots of spotting but nothing else, and lots of BFNs! I'm constantly peeing on ovulating sticks and my husband keeps telling me to relax and just carry on as normal, but it's so hard when it's something you really want and you have no control over!

Hi ladies - just been reading through your posts and wanted to offer my advice ..
I came off the pill 18months ago after 10+ years on it. Had a withdrawal bleed as expected then nothing for 108days! I then waited another 120 days for the next cycle that the drs induced with progesterone tablets hoping it would kick start my cycles again. But it didn’t. I eventually looked into reflexology - I had 1 session a week for 5 weeks and low and behold I got a period 126 days after my last. I continued with reflexology 1 session a week and 61 days later got my next period!
I honestly believe that the reflexology has brought my cycles back (though still not regular since having the treatment I’ve had 2 cycles in 3 months) ... if you’ve been to drs and all is Normal then 100% would recommend this!

Hi @Mrsccc. I came off microgynon 30 on 1 June after 15 years. I had a withdrawal bleed straight after and I counted first day as CD1. I then had every pg symptom going ... think I then ovulated 1 July due to change in CM, felt awful all last week and then AF turned up today. So first cycle for me was 45 days and now I’m
onto cycle 2.... I’m going to look out for ovulation in 12-14 days time but will be interested to see how long this cycle is. Really hoping to settle back to approx 28 days so I have some idea of what’s going on! 🤞🏻

It's been 67 days since the start of my withdrawal bleed, that lasted 5 days and i've had nothing since!

Seriously driving me mad!
