hi ladies on cd25 started mild cramps on and off since yesterday but AF not due til SAT/SUN, no other real symptoms. I only get mild cramps the day AF arrives never this early so one minute im convinced im pregnant then next i know i can't be as not sure when I actually ovulated and only dtd on 2 days either side of my fertile period according to my flo app! it's totally frustrating got some cheap test from poundland will wait til thursday and got some cb for the weekend if AF hasn't appeared.

anyone else in similar position?

@mrssunshinexxx it could be, but I think if I tell myself it’s PMS I won’t be disappointed! Well done for not getting tests!

My period isn’t due until the 30th/31st so I still have ages to go! I’m only 5/6dpo (5 according to fertility friend but I think that’s wrong as fertile mucus dried up before it said I ovulated). Google says it should dry up once ovulation has occurred so.. Does everyone else’s CM dry up/stop being fertile CM straight after ovulation. I can’t imag I ovulated on a day with non fertile CM

Although I'm not trying this month I'm intrigued to know if anyone's apps haven't been accurate with ovulation??

Mine both say that I should ovulate on the 30th but I've had some EWCM today and yesterday which is a sign on ovulation coming isn't it?

I went back to look at last months CM and it seems I had EWCM on the 16th of June even though apps say I should have ovulated on the 26th 🧐🧐

Any opinions?

@Sophieb15 no Theyr the same just not getting stronger! I’v briught more tests today so will try again tomorrow! I’m joining slimming world tomorrow even though I don’t need too just to keep my mind off it 😂 I just thought well atleast I can eat healthier I suppose

@sao811 yes that's exactly what's happened to me several times now. I don't understand because I've not seen them do that before. I've ordered a different test to arrive in the morning so I'll see on one of them !
@november90 it's literally just travelling back up in a line shape and stopping at the control line ! So bizarre !!

@Sophieb15 I'm 5 weeks 2 days.
I got a positive opk on Sunday June 30th and we DTD that day. 10 days later I got my BFP.

@flossy12 I ovulated almost a week earlier than flow predicted this month just because I could feel it.

If I don't get pregnant this month I'm going to try opks next month and was going to try cheap ones but since I've read a few ppl saying they aren't great I really don't wanna miss it if I'm paying for something extra so might get the clear blue one x

@AmIseeingRight We are the nearly the same I'm CD 27 today due AF sat as I only have 12 day LP. I'm going to try to wait until at least Monday to test but I'm sure AF will show her face at the weekend. We only Managed to DTD once during fertile window this month.

@Lauralozzle If you are not doing OPK's I would count O day as the day before it dried up.

@flossy12 The apps are only guessing the best way to pinpoint is with OPK's or temping.

@Hopefulprincess Have you any pictures? Yes good idea to keep your mind off it. Its so hard!!!!!!

@mrssunshinexxx I used the CB ones for about 4 months and you literally get your static smiley have O pain and then CM drys up. I ran out this month and used cheapies and I didn't find them accurate at all. Don't buy the CB ones in the shop get them on ebay or amazon and get a 20 pk way better value. The good thing about the CB ones too is that you only take it once a day and its FMU.

@MockingJay27 Congrats that was right bang on the day before O though so perfect timing. Mine wasn't so not getting my hopes up.

@flossy12 @mrssunshinexxx The apps just estimated based on your period and average luteal phase length i think - however i also think the ewcm and cramps can sometimes be a bit misleading. When i first started using Flo back in January, it predicted ovulation for me at CD13 (this is still what my fitbit predicts). I adjusted the flow app based on ewcm and cramps so that it predicted ovulation on CD14. However this month i had some success with opks and temps combined (last month i just did opks and when the ewcm had gone i thought i'd missed the surge so gave up) and they both gave me positive for ovulating on CD17! 4 days later than Flo would've predicted!!! And 3 days after i first felt some cramping and noticed ewcm.

I would say that opks are a bit of a pain in the arse - at least the ICs are. I would take @Sophieb15 advice and get the CB ones - if you can just do one first thing in the morning then that would be so much easier! i was using ICs and basically had to do one mid morning at work and one as soon as i got home for a week to get my positive.

All that being said i'm now a bit confused about when i should consider AF late. I'm usually 28 day cycle like clockwork which would have be due on Friday, Flo and femometer have both changed my CD1 to Sunday...so when would you consider yourself late and do a test?!

I am conflicted though because some people say their surge is only a few hours so what if I don't get a static smiley?
Using FMU helps me hugely I would struggle testing twice

Pls can you explain abit more about the CB ones
What cd do you test from?
Do they do a sad face if not fertile does it let you know when you start the fertile week..

Omggggg I just want af to come! This month has just been so stressful with all this tracking and unknown and I just want to start fresh! Anyone else feeling the same?

@mrssunshinexxx I used them for 4 full months and always got a static smiley.

Get the CB 4 day ones they are the best. So normally they said to start on CD 10 and test until static smiley. First you get a blank circle then a flashing smiley means high fertilty and static smiley then stays for 2 days so you stop testing. They are supposed to be the most sensitive OPK's and once you get the static smiley you ovulate 12-24 hours after.

I feel like I'm a pro at this stage with them. Our problem is doing the BD at the right time over OH shifts.

@november90 I feel the exact same because we only managed to DTD once during fertile window i'm counting myself out and just want it to be next month. I'm going to try my hardest next month to BD the day i get my static smiley and the 2 days after

@mrssunshinexxx yes i think using FMU would help a lot, i didn't realise some could and some couldn't until i read @Sophieb15 other post. I think from what she is saying the CB ones are more sensitive so will detect that the surge is coming even if it's not right in it?

@mumofbun Yes It has always detected a surge for me and I get cramps when I O so they def pinpointed the right time.

I'm feeling nauseous today now nipples still sore but not as bad as they were last 2 days last night I had to wear a sports bra to bed to keep them in one place the nipples hurt so much.. I just want it to be the weekend now so I can get AF and get on to the next cycle lucky cycle 7

@Sophieb15 when is AF due for you? Hopefully cycle no 7 is lucky - this is my 7th!!

@mumofbun I'm due sat it's so hard like I wish I was calm about it but I keep stressing

@Sophieb15 We're due around the same time - i'm not sure if Friday as that is when i would usually calculate myself or Sunday because that is what Flo is saying since i put in my ovulation! It's so hard - every month i'm the same and read into random things and then find myself disappointed!

@mumofbun How long is your LP normally? . My cramps are getting a little stronger now so I may even get AF earlier than expected. I ran of CB this month so i'm guessing by EWCM and cramps I O'd last Mon but it was late for me CD19. Every other month was between CD 15-CD17.

My cycles have been Weird lengths since getting the Implant out in Jan I had a 30,28,26,29 and 27. I'm currently on CD 27 so I feel like my cycles still haven't regulated properly. What have your cycles been like??

@Sophieb15 Before i went on the pill they were very strictly 28 days pretty much. Came of the pill end of last summer and went right back to that. Started ttc properly in January so just looked back at Flo and i've had a couple of 26/27 day cycles but other than that all 28 days. Looking again, 28 days would actually make me due AF on Thursday.

I'm not sure how long my LP is but based on ewcm in previous cycles i set it to 13 days. But like i said, my opks and temps gave a positive 3 days later than i would've thought myself! 13 days from ewcm and cramps makes me due on cd28 which is Thursday, 13 days from day after positive opk has be due cd 30 which is Saturday...Flo is saying Sunday so i'm confused!

Hi, tentatively poking my head in to join you please. I'm in the TWW currently but going away this weekend so considering testing a little early, AF is due 3rd August, but with my last 2 pregnancies (one was a MC) I got a positive from around 10dpo. Unfortunately this time round I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated 🤦‍♀️ so I'm not sure when this will be!

@mumofbun I never test early because I can't cope with the BFN's so normally I get AF before I test. Are you an early tester?

Have you any symptoms? Do you get cramps,boob or backache before AF?
