@fnej01 I cracked and looked at my chart Blush patience has never been my strong point! How are you doing?

Mistymeow · 09/07/2019 15:38

@Mumbi19 sorry that it's all still ongoing. Not nice waiting in limbo, although it's good that the fibroids were not the cause. I hope you get some answers soon, or at least some reassurance and support.
@Navy123 thanks that's a good idea, although my appointment is in two weeks so I'm not sure if that's enough time. I've had all the hormone/thyroid/pcos tests from my gp but not the more specialised tests for the blood disorders. Do you know if the GP can order those sorts of tests, or does it have to be a consultant? It would be good to get these done in advance if possible so I can make the most out of the appointment. We want to press ahead with IVF soon.

Navy123 · 09/07/2019 15:57

@Mistymeow I think they can order any tests but I know mine wrote to the consultant to ask which ones to ask for (I could have told him!). As they do everything by actual snail mail (ridiculous) it took a while so I think 2 weeks probably isn't enough time. So frustrating how slow it all is!

Came across this today, for anyone who needs to hear it ❤️

FirstTimeMama91 · 09/07/2019 23:40

@VenusStarr love that, so true 💕

fnej01 · 10/07/2019 08:26

@JuniperAndRose to be honest this is my first month charting as I have just bought an Ava bracelet. I don't fully understand the chart so looking at it a lot but not concluding much

@VenusStarr love the quote

InDreamland · 10/07/2019 08:36

Hi ladies. Just popped on to "lurk" and see how you're all getting on.

@Russkispy congratulations! Fantastic news. After the hideous time you've had this really is lovely news and I wish you a H&H 40 weeks! Pop over to the grads thread when you're ready, would so love to see you there. Yay!!!!!!

@AliceRR sorry AF showed and about your DH medical condition. Hugs to you both. It's so hard isn't it. Fx though he can get treated soon for his comfort and also so your TTC journey can get back on track.

Love and fx for BFPs for you all x

Mistymeow · 10/07/2019 09:01

@VenusStarr lovely quote Flowers
@Navy123 wow that is slow! I’m hoping my GP will call the department, just waiting to speak to him today. It would be a shame to have the initial appointment and then have to wait a while for tests to be reviewed. Wish I’d considered this earlier. How are you getting on?
@indreamland hi lurker! Nice to hear from you- hope your anxiety is reducing as the days go by. I’m sure you’ll feel better once the first trimester and dating scan is out of the way.

Navy123 · 10/07/2019 09:28

@AliceRR so sorry to hear about your DHs condition, that must be so, so frustrating for you both. I echo a pp in finding a project to do to occupy yourself - when we were struggling last time ttc we sold our house which distracted us nicely!!

@InDreamland nice to hear from you, hope you are doing well.

@Mistymeow a phone call is a much better idea! I was pleased the dr suggested doing it that way round though, should save some time. How long have you been waiting for your rmc appt? I was referred in May and told August/September for an appointment.

Avocuddles · 10/07/2019 09:29

@VenusStarr thanks for sharing the lovely quote. I think all of us will find those words very helpful!

I really need to work on my willpower. Caved this morning and cracked open a FRER. I'm only 9 or 10 DPO and it was a whiter than white BFN. I know it's too early to rule me out yet but just wish I knew for sure one way or the other!!!! I have another four tests (1 frer and 3 Internet cheapie versions) in my suitcase. Need to resist the desire to use them all too soon!

Ginmonkey84 · 10/07/2019 09:40

@Mumbi19 yes I started bleeding on the 9th June so haven’t had my period in between. I was tracking my ovulation from 7 days after once my bleeding stopped. I actually had no symptoms, a bit of cramping around 8dpo on and off. Less this time than before. But over the last few days have definitely felt a lot more tired and had a few bouts of nausea. I just had a feeling not sure why or what it was but I think I instinctively knew. Maybe it was because the miscarriage was so recent I still remembered how I felt? I’m keeping everything crossed for you x

Mistymeow · 10/07/2019 13:20

@Navy123 just heard from the GP and he said the same as yours- he would need to write to the consultant and as the appointment is only 2 weeks away it wouldn’t be worth it. Wish I’d thought about it earlier! Yes my wait has been the same- 3 months, although it took 10 weeks for my period to return after the erpc so I needed some time to recover physically.

Russkispy · 10/07/2019 18:50

Blood tests are back and my beta is 215 and progesterone 87. Waiting to hear from my doc on progesterone intake if needed at all. In all my pregnancies after fertility treatments I was taking a lot of progesterone pills. This is natural pregnancy and it's all new to me. Repeating bloods on Friday morning. Hope the HCG doubles then! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@InDreamland thank you for tagging me to the Graduates thread but not ready for it as it's still very very early days, and will stick here for a while. At the same time won't be bothering ladies on here as don't want to upset anyone on here

Mistymeow · 10/07/2019 21:53

@Russkispy I have everything crossed for the repeat blood test. Let us know how you get on. It’s sounding very promising so far and I’m glad they are keeping a close eye on you. Hope you’re feeling ok x

InDreamland · 10/07/2019 22:06

@Mistymeow anxiety still sky high and TBH all of us who have had mc(s) with any subsequent pregnancy will be anxious until our rainbows start school.

@Navy123 thank you. Keep lurking to hopefully see some more BFPs, especially those of you I feel I know pretty well in an online society kinda way.

@Russkispy totally understand. Keeping fx for doubling HCG. FWIW I think because it's a natural conception it's a good sign. Really hoping this is your rainbow.

FirstTimeMama91 · 10/07/2019 23:08

@InDreamland glad to hear you're well. Keeping my fx for you and your little bean Thanks I'm taking a break from trying this month. Will try next month once we're on holiday x

InDreamland · 10/07/2019 23:22

@FirstTimeMama91 thank you. Baby making holiday sounds like a plan. We took a 1 month break after each mc, just didn't feel like trying so soon after losing our babies. It'll also be good for your body I think to have a little rest then hopefully on holibobs you'll make your rainbow. Keeping fx for you.

FirstTimeMama91 · 10/07/2019 23:23

@InDreamland thanks hun, I hope so! Hopefully see you on the other thread again soon take care x

Sarah357 · 11/07/2019 00:46

I am new to this. I am 26 and have been trying to conceive since November 2018. Had an early loss at 6.5 weeks ( on Valentine’s Day). I have felt so stressed out about getting pregnant that my partner booked us a holiday but now that I am back I still feel like I’m constantly stressing about getting pregnant and always thinking about it

Avocuddles · 11/07/2019 07:59

Hi @InDreamland glad you're ok. Am sure I'll be in the same boat as you re anxiety if I ever do conceive again. I'm not sure what scares me most, the thought of not getting pregnant or the thought of being pregnant. I can't imagine a life without anxiety at the moment which is sad.

@Sarah357 sorry you've found yourself here. I'm 35 and had a MC at 7 weeks at the end of May. I'd been trying for a year and had very long irregular cycles which didn't help. I still haven't had a period yet since the miscarriage 7 weeks ago, I think I ovulated around 10 days ago but as things currently stand don't think I'm pregnant. I'd like to know for sure one way or the other though!

Have you been trying ever since your loss?
I sympathise with you about constantly thinking about it. I've started acupuncture which was recommended to me by numerous friends. It hasn't completely got rid of the stress but I do think it has helped, and I'm hoping that it might help my cycles to become more regular in time... x

VenusStarr · 11/07/2019 08:09

Morning everyone

@InDreamland nice to see you popping your head in :) sorry you're still feeling anxious, I hope this eases as your pregnancy progresses x

@Sarah357 I'm sorry you find yourself here Flowers my miscarriage was in April and I found I really obsessed about ttc but a break did me the world of good.

@Russkispy 🤞 for your next blood results x

@Avocuddles hope you're enjoying your holiday

@FirstTimeMama91 a break soubds great. Our holiday a few weeks ago was really helpful for me to reset. We're looking to have a short UK break at the end of August too.

Waiting for af to arrive, have been fairly crampy and yesterday really felt like my period was starting. Bfn on frer today, so not hopeful. My mood is a bit better though :)

Sorry I haven't ragged everyone x

Avocuddles · 11/07/2019 09:30

Morning @VenusStarr holiday is wonderful thank you. If only I had more holiday allowance I'd be booking the next one in a shot.... we're here for another week but I'm already feeling sad at the thought of having to return to reality. Sorry about your BFN but like me you've potentially got a few days to go yet haven't you? I've no idea how long my luteal phase is but am assuming AF is due Sunday or Monday. I really hate the not knowing. After yesterday's FRER BFN I took an internet cheapie this morning which was another BFN. I have three more tests with me so should have enough for a daily POAS until AF arrives I guess! The second she does I'll be treating myself to a large cocktail I reckon. But obviously still hoping that she doesn't!

AliceRR · 11/07/2019 12:41

@Mistymeow It’s been an issue for a while but he has put off going to the gp as he doesn’t want surgery. We actually ended up in A&E the other night(!) which is what prompted us both to worry more about it but he has said it has since felt better than it has in ages so maybe he won’t need surgery but we’ll see.

And maybe we’ll be able to do the BD next week when fertile IF we can get along. I’m feeling down and the last couple of days we’ve been clashing which makes me feel 10x worse.

That’s a nice quote @VenusStarr Sorry if it is AF

Thanks @InDreamland How are you doing?

@Avocuddles I think the anxiety is unavoidable to some degree. Like you say, I am anxious about TTC, I’d be anxious if I get pregnant again (all the way through and during the birth given what happened to be last time) and I’m sure I’ll still be a bit anxious if I have a healthy baby but I’ll also be so grateful if I get to experience that

How are you @Lilimum7

Hope everyone else is ok and good luck for this cycle🤞

VenusStarr · 11/07/2019 14:27

I'm sorry to hear about your dh @AliceRR, it sounds really worrying. I'm sorry you're feeling low too. It's hard when there's lots going on to not take things out in each other xx

In the nicest possible way @Avocuddles I hope you don't get to enjoy an alcoholic cocktail 🍹 🤞

JuniperAndRose · 11/07/2019 16:12

@AliceRR I’m sorry to hear that, it must be really frustrating. It’s hard not to clash in tough times like these. DH and I went through a phase of massive arguments, which looking back was actually an improvement on our previous phase of just not communicating with each other at all. Have you had any counselling since Ruby was born? I only mention is because I was offered counselling after Eliza was born. I asked if the counselling could be for DH and I together and we have both found it helpful in terms of better ways to communicate and support each other.
