@Noisysparrows Yes your cycle could just be a bit messed up still. Mine has changed since having my daughter. You just don’t know. Midwife and GP told me you can have bleeding in pregnancy. For me I don’t think it was af / early mc as it was heavier than AF but I had a slight panic today wondering what if I am somehow still pregnant as I drank a couple of glasses of Prosecco the other night 🥂 (thinking I have MC). FRER arrived in Amazon order today so plan to test tomorrow

@Lilimum7 That’s lovely - hopefully a positive sign 🌈

Pegase · 13/08/2019 07:50

👋 @TwittleBee! Long time no see!

So am pg for the third time in the last 12 months as of this morning.

All I can think of is that if this one also ends in mc, we are finally eligible for NHS recurrent mc clinic.

Don't want to even tell DH as don't want to get his hopes up for nothing.

Noisysparrows · 13/08/2019 08:03

@MrsH497 it's really tough. Fingers crossed for you this cycle. We've been trying this time since the beginning of the year, three months taken up being pregnant then mc so this is only actually my 3/4th cycle trying but seems like forever and we've got nowhere. Sounds terrible but I'm very resentful of the time taken up by the pregnancy prior to miscarriage - time isn't really on my side as it is.

Noisysparrows · 13/08/2019 08:05

@Pegase tentative congrats! Hope this one sticks and no need for rmc.

@ReeReeR are you testing this morning?

ReeReeR · 13/08/2019 08:17

@Noisysparrows I’m still in bed. Need to get up to test but putting it off. 6 months today since my daughter was stillborn. I need to test to confirm MC. I must say I am feeling very down. DH is not helping. I pretended to be asleep this morning (he knew) and didn’t give him a lift to the station for work so he called a taxi.

This is “only” our 5th cycle of trying but that’s after we were loosely trying to conceive our daughter for a few months and then 9 months of pregnancy and think last cycle was a cp. So really we started trying about 18 months ago. I really don’t regret any of the time I had with my daughter. I was the happiest I’ve ever been when I was pregnant with her and having her was still the best thing I’ve ever done but it feels like I have been through a lot and with no living baby on the horizon. I was am 35 now. Sorry it seems I am feeling sorry for myself today!

Gentle congrats @Pegase

How are you doing? @Russkispy
@Lilimum7

Will test now!

ReeReeR · 13/08/2019 08:27

I tested with FRER, it’s negative and that’s fine by me because I was pretty sure I couldn’t still be pregnant after heavy read bleeding and at least I’m not in limbo

Hope everyone else is ok x

MrsH497 · 13/08/2019 08:40

@Noisysparrows I'm not hopefully I think my body is just playing cruel tricks on me

ReeReeR · 13/08/2019 09:04

I think we have all felt like that from time to time @MrsH497 I think nhs says to seek advice if you have been trying for a year if under 35 (6 months if over 35). I am 35 now and told myself I will go to GP if I have not conceived within 6 cycles and that helped me to sort of put a time frame on it to get checked out if need be.

MrsH497 · 13/08/2019 09:06

@ReeReeR not quite at the year mark yet (cycle 10 and I'm 32)

ReeReeR · 13/08/2019 09:14

@MrsH497 Yes I saw you had said ten cycles. I just meant it might help to give yourself that long stop of 12 months so you don’t just see endless months ahead of TTC. It might happen within 12 months still but if not then you can talk to someone and that helped me.

MrsH497 · 13/08/2019 09:16

@ReeReeR I hope it does happen before then. Will GP count it from when we started and not re start after miscarriage?

TwittleBee · 13/08/2019 09:52

Oh hi again @Pegase ! Sorry to see you're still here on these threads! But FX for this pregnancy!

Lilimum7 · 13/08/2019 10:41

@ReeReeR I'm OK hun 6 dpo nothing to report. Only symptoms have been a bit of side boob pain. Sorry to hear of your cp and that your feel low, be kind to yourself x

ReeReeR · 13/08/2019 16:50

They’ll probably take it into account @MrsH497

@Lilimum7 Well I think I feel a bit more open minded about symptoms after last month as I didn’t have obvious symptoms except lack of PMT and I know it wasn’t a positive outcome but I did have some symptoms such as nausea etc but none of it seemed obvious. Fingers crossed for you 🤞x

Avocuddles · 14/08/2019 07:44

Morning all. Tested again this morning (when I think i should be 4 weeks) and got a good line on a FRER and a pregnant 1-2 weeks on a clearblue. Would have been happier if it had been a 2-3 but will save my final CB for Sunday or Monday when hopefully it will have moved on. We're driving down to my parents tomorrow to stay for a few nights as DH and I are attending a wedding down there on Saturday. I'm thinking I might just have to tell them as it will be less stressful than trying to make excuses to avoid the constant stream of tea / wine that usually flows there - they know about the miscarriage so hopefully with be understanding of the fact that it's far too early to get excited or make any assumptions about this one going the distance.

I'm going to (very nervously) hop onto the graduates thread now but will keep following this thread as it's been a real comfort to me over the past three months and I want to know how everyone is getting on. Thanks for all your support xx

ReeReeR · 14/08/2019 07:56

All the best @Avocuddles I saw your post is n the other thread - good line progression. You have been a great support on this thread too xx

Avocuddles · 14/08/2019 08:40

Thanks @ReeReeR, you have been a great support too and I hope that you have another BFP very soon and we can support each other through the next journey.... Xx

fnej01 · 14/08/2019 08:52

Congratulations @Avocuddles fingers crossed for a happy and healthy 9 months.

@ReeReeR how are you today? I was glad to read that your catch up yesterday went better than you had feared.

ReeReeR · 14/08/2019 09:00

I hope so too @Avocuddles

@fnej01 I’m ok thanks. I think mentally and physically I’m a little bit tired. I know some people hate when women talk about our hormones but I really am quite affected by PMT etc and I feel a bit like that now. Maybe my body is adjusting to having been pregnant again and now not pregnant again. I’m going to Zumba shortly so that will probably perk me up and I’m actually really looking forward to going back to work next week after 6 months on mat leave. How are you doing?

TwittleBee · 14/08/2019 12:49

Best of luck Avocuddles

Hope Zumba perked you up ReeReeR and actually I think women's hormonal changes should be spoke about more openly, some women do really suffer with them, they can be a real issue - blimey look how much goes on when we are all on this TTC rollercoaster.

ReeReeR · 14/08/2019 22:34

Thanks @TwittleBee I’m sure I saw a thread on MN yesterday, perhaps on AIBU, saying something about women who talk about hormones not doing women any favours, which was in my mind when I posted that. I am very aware of my hormones though and they do impact me quite a lot for about a week out of every month...

Hope everyone else is ok today

TwittleBee · 15/08/2019 16:42

ReeReeR ah that is a real shame a thread like that was around, personally I think women who think we should dismiss actual medical issues, like hormonal times around periods and other changes our bodies go through, are the ones who are not helping women.

how is everyone? i've a rotten cold here, proper sore throat too with it.

trying to get back into shape now post c-section, managed a 5k run last night so feeling good about that and got some EWCM today, as I would expect from my usual cycle, so looks like my cycles are hopefully going to be back to normal straight away.

Rumi1 · 15/08/2019 16:59

Hey ladies ,

I've been radio silent here - miscarriage aftermath has lead to surgical management. I had surgery yesterday as I was still showing positive and getting fever :-(

All sorted now and I'm home and resting

Looking forward to our next chapter

Recurrent miscarriage appointment is in 8th October so not long to go ...

I feel a little delayed as we've been told to prevent pregnancy until our appointment x

So I may be silent for a few more weeks

Off to Cornwall with hubby and DS's to get some much needed rest and restoration x

I will be in the background

Love reading the stories and support

Good luck to those with BFP's ... hope to join you soon

Xxx

ReeReeR · 15/08/2019 17:35

@TwittleBee Yes, PMT is a real thing! J get it worse than most I suspect. How long is it since your C section? I’m trying to get back in shape too. I’ve been doing a lot of yoga but need to do more walking and cardio.

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this @Rumi1 MC is rubbish enough without the complications. Feeling delayed must be a bit disheartening too but a few months helpfully won’t matter in the scheme of things when you have another healthy baby. Enjoy your break

TwittleBee · 15/08/2019 18:01

ReeReeR Yes totally with you though, get it horribly here too. It will be 7 weeks on saturday, feels longer ago though - like a weird nightmare now. I need to get back into yoga!

Rumi Sorry to hear that you did end up needing the surgery with all those horrible symptoms before - hopefully a quick recovery for you. Really hope it doesnt drag to October for you either and you get a way foward.
