Oh my @VenusStarr that’s a great line for 11dpo! Congratulations x

Noisysparrows · 03/08/2019 10:21

I'm sorry @VenusStarr I meant to say a tentative congrats to you! It's a great line, everything crossed - and I'm very glad your reflexologist was talking absolute rubbish!

ReeReeR · 03/08/2019 10:57

@Avocuddles @Noisysparrows I had my daughter at LGI and they were fantastic. It’s not the nearest hospital but I work 5 mins from there and I would be under consultant care there now in their new rainbow clinic.

Avocuddles · 03/08/2019 11:00

@ReeReeR I also work in the city centre, as does DH. Will be interested to hear about your experiences there going forward - if things work out i might bump into you there one day! If I get that BFP I'll be in every couple of weeks to see Dr Cianter re my blood. Hope you're having a good day x

Noisysparrows · 03/08/2019 11:29

I used to work at LGI (several years ago now). Dr Ciantar is lovely. If I were to get a bfp again and need any high risk care I would definitely book at LGI rather than my closer Harrogate (where I haven't had good experiences either with MC management or childbirth).

Avocuddles · 03/08/2019 11:44

@Noisysparrows I'm on the train line between Leeds and Harrogate so either could be an option. I have friends who have had mixed experiences of both, but LGI saved my life ten years ago, and then my husband's a couple of years ago, so that combined with the ten minute walk from work makes it the natural choice. In the meantime I'm hoping that if I don't get a natural BFP soon I'll be heading to Seacroft fertility unit as I had been referred there prior to my pregnancy; going to see my GP on Friday to hopefully get the ball rolling again, though of course I'm still hoping that next weekend brings a BFP....
I only met Dr Ciantar once but he seemed great. He didn't mince his words around me being a high risk patient which I really appreciated, but seemed very supportive and encouraging. Hopefully I'll be back there sooner rather than later.

@Avocuddles

@Noisysparrows

I am in the “Airedale” area although I am closer to Bradford hospital. I got married in Harrogate.

We are not far from each other at all! x

ReeReeR · 03/08/2019 11:49

The thing is people can have good and bad experiences anywhere. Years ago, family member had a baby who died at a few days old at the hospital closest to us and that put me off going there. She didn’t feel she had great care. But things like that happen anywhere. I was under Leeds care when my baby died but I wasn’t there when she died and I don’t believe it was down to anything they did or didn’t do. I would be under Tracey Glanville(?) who I think works in both Leeds hospitals. My community midwife, outside of Leeds area, was fantastic but we have since moved from her area.

Noisysparrows · 03/08/2019 12:37

Absolutely @ReeReeR, I know several of the staff at Harrogate and they're lovely, lots of people do have great care there. My personal experience was just unfortunate and could theoretically have happened anywhere, but I'd still opt for LGI in future as they just have more experience with high risk care.

Noisysparrows · 03/08/2019 12:38

Fingers crossed I manage to get myself in the position where I have to choose one anyway! Grin

Lilimum7 · 03/08/2019 12:57

This is why we should not go shopping when we are very low. I've just gone and blown £10,000 on this car. I pick it up Thursday. You won't believe what the dealers best selling point to me was, "it has iso fix fictures so very safe for your baby". He though I was pregnant, I know I've put on a lot of weight be I didn't quite realise it was that bad (though 7 pregnancies in 2 years does kind of pack it on a bit). So new car yay but I'm going to have to walk more now typical

Noisysparrows · 03/08/2019 13:08

Ooh nice wheels @Lilimum7! Ignore the bloody salesman, tactless bugger!

Avocuddles · 03/08/2019 14:55

@Lilimum7 nice! I have a qashqai too and love it so you won't regret splurging. Ignore the dealers comments though that's just plain rude! x

ReeReeR · 03/08/2019 15:40

@Noisysparrows Yes fingers crossed you will and it’s natural to think about it. I started thinking about it when I had my daughter and with what happened, I was already looking ahead and thinking about whether I’d go back there if I have another baby.

@Lilimum7 That’s nice 🚘 We thought about getting one of those too. Sounds like the salesman was very rude!!

VenusStarr · 03/08/2019 17:22

@Lilimum7 💜 I'm sorry you're feeling low and stuck. I hope that Tuesday brings some hope and some reassurance for you. I hope you're OK xx
Nice new car :)

VenusStarr · 05/08/2019 21:34

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow @Lilimum7 💜 will be thinking of you x

Lilimum7 · 05/08/2019 21:51

@VenusStarr @Noisysparrows @Avocuddles @ReeReeR @TwittleBee @fnej01 thank you ladies for asking after me and for your kind words. Yes tomorrow is rmc appointment day and I will not lie I'm so scared it's unreal. I'm scared that there is something horribly wrong or that menopause is well and truely on her way, but I'm also scared they will find nothing wrong and that my babies deaths are just bad luck and I will be again left asking why.

Brighter note DH took me out for a day out and then for a carvery for dinner. God love him he's a good one really.

I got a high on my fertility monitor today (cd9). Tomorrow is the day I usually ovulate but nothing LH test wise. So I think that because I'm so stressed out about the appointment that it's throwing my cycle off either that or it will be another anovulation cycle.
I'll update when I get back from my appointment. Once again ladies thank you for all your support, it truely means so much to me xx

Mistymeow · 05/08/2019 22:11

@lilimum7 will be thinking of you. I know it’s nerve wracking getting test results but you will get through it. What a lovely partner you have, that’s worth its weight in gold. I really hope you get some answers and I remain cautiously optimistic for you.

Avocuddles · 05/08/2019 22:13

@Lilimum7 will be thinking of you tomorrow. I hope it gives you some of the answers you're hoping for, and that you and your DH are soon on the journey towards bringing your rainbow into the world. Let us know how you get on xx

Navy123 · 05/08/2019 22:44
