@VenusStarr 7dpo but level was only 22 so doc said that's no for ovulation, it needs to be 30 + for successful ovulation.

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 16:42

@Lilimum7 looking at your chart I think you should have gone on cd20 (7 days before af) so I think you did ovulate but the bloods were on the wrong day.

Also, I've heard that 30+ is indicative of ovulation but then I've read 20+ is OK too.

Navy123 · 29/07/2019 17:54

@Lilimum7 sorry af has arrived but glad you now have a timeline. Definitely ask for a scan at your next appt, would be good to confirm where you're at.

More spotting, feeling so frustrated! And really pissed off with nhs waiting times - if we do lose this one but something could have prevented it then it is entirely their fault making us wait so long! Seems so unfair how different wait times are across the country too.

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 17:59

Sorry to hear about the spotting @Navy123, how long are you having to wait? Really hoping its just your little bean getting settled and it's nothing sinister xx

Internetaddictgirl · 29/07/2019 18:00

@Lilimum7 sorry AF arrived. I would definitely ask, and be pushy in a nice way about it too!
@Navy123 thanks for the positive thoughts. Keeping my fingers crossed xx

Mistymeow · 29/07/2019 18:13

@Lilimum7 sorry that af showed up but hopefully this cycle you will have a better progesterone level. Agree with the others regarding the scan.
@ReeReeR you are very patient! I allow myself ic testing 9-11dpo then I stop if they are all negative. Got everything crossed for you.
@Pop1234 definitely recommend the temping to confirm ovulation. I found waiting for that temp drop around af too stressful so I just temp to confirm O.
@Navy123 looks like our cycles are the same, also due af on Wednesday. Don’t worry too much about spotting- it’s probably implantation at this early stage. I’ve had it with both my previous pregnancies around this time and although I did miscarry it had nothing to do with the early spotting. I would see if you can get in touch with the rmc you were referred to- perhaps your gp could do it on your behalf. My appointment was only last Tuesday so I’ve been on the baby aspirin for a week. You should have had a letter through for an appointment though. Definitely worth calling the gp.

I held my wee for 4 hours and the test still has a line. But I just don’t trust the cheapies. I’ll test on a frer tomorrow morning. Thanks for the support x

ReeReeR · 29/07/2019 18:51

@Navy123 Hope there is nothing bad going on. Lots of people have implantation bleeding and spotting

Thanks @mistymeow TBH part of it is I just assuming I’m not preg but I am tempted to test this time. DH says he doesn’t think I’m preg as I would know if I am but that makes me want to test and prove him wrong!

Hope everyone else is ok

Navy123 · 29/07/2019 19:49

@VenusStarr I don't even know! I was referred in April, still haven't heard anything.

@Mistymeow you're right it could be implantation. I get stressed though because the only time I had no spotting at all was for DS - every other time it's ended. So you were told to take the aspirin all the time? See I was told just from bfp, which doesn't give it long to work! Will make a drs appt next week I think if no af to push them on and ask for early scans etc - seems to have results in reducing mc risk!

@ReeReeR Do you think you will test tomorrow then?

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 20:02

That is a long wait! @Navy123 can you self refer to the epu, just to check everything is OK? I'd be tempted to chase the GP on the referral too. Hope the spotting eases off soon x

@ReeReeR fingers crossed for you if you do decide to test 🤞

Hoping this is a lucky month for us all xx

Squiff70 · 29/07/2019 20:26

@Navy123 really hope this spotting is nothing serious. Let us know how you get on with the EPU.

@ReeReeR crossing everything for you this month!

I've got an appointment at the RMC on the 5th August. It was arranged when I had a second chemical in May, so I've waited three months which I thought was speedy. I'm sorry to hear some of you are waiting longer than that. Keep us posted x

Lilimum7 · 29/07/2019 20:28

Thanks for your advice regarding rmc appointment. I'm really scared of going back, I keep dreaming that they tell me that I'm too old and my ovaries have shrivelled up and they show me a picture, which looks like a raisin.

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 20:31

So much for no symptom spotting, but this evening my boobs feel weird, like a wave of acheyness, all across my chest. Not tender like normal post-ovulation (nor like my last pregnancy). Plus, just had a teeny tiny bit of brown spotting. Just putting it here so I can see how ridiculous I am being 🙄 I can safely say I've spent too much time on my own today... Overactive imagination!!

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 20:32

How old are you @Lilimum7? I'm sure your ovaries look nothing like raisins. I'm sorry you're feeling so anxious xx

Lilimum7 · 29/07/2019 20:36

@VenusStarr I'm 38 now. My family has a history of early menopause so I'm terrified I left it too late

VenusStarr · 29/07/2019 20:41

I'm glad you have your rmc appointment soon @Lilimum7, I hope you get some reassurance and a proper plan in place. I know it's easy for me to say, but please try not to worry ❤️ Xx

ReeReeR · 29/07/2019 21:29

Thank you @Navy123 @Venusstar @Squiff70 I’m sure it’s wishful thinking and this is just a long cycle for me but there is a little bit of hope there. I’ll see how I feel in the morning. If I feel like testing with fmu then I will. I’ll be 12 DPO tomorrow I’m leaning towards testing tbh 😬

PS @VenusStarr I thought I had sensitive nipples earlier too but only for a second. Have squeezed them a few times since 😂 but they don’t feel different to normal really 🤷‍♀️

I think my boobs are more sensitive since I was pregnant now anyway so I can’t tell

@Lilimum7 You are not too old. It’s just so easy to think the worst when you’ve had a tough time already xx

Avocuddles · 29/07/2019 22:06

Evening all. Good luck @Mistymeow and @Navy123, great that you've had those faint lines, fingers crossed that these are your rainbows.

Good luck also to those of you on your 2WW. I feel like this could be a really positive month for this group!!!!

CD18 and my chart is still incredibly depressing. Contacted the fertility clinic today and frustratingly they told me that I was removed from their list when I conceived so need to go back to my GP and find out if they're willing to refer me again. I'm really hoping they won't insist on another year of pointless 'trying'. I'm almost 36 and I only have 7 or 8 periods a year, most of which are probably anovulatory. Aggggh!!!

Avocuddles · 29/07/2019 22:07

Incredibly depressing chart attached....

ReeReeR · 29/07/2019 23:12

That’s annoying @Avocuddles Over 35 they tell you to try for 6 months before seeking help don’t they? But I don’t know how it works if you have conceived before. Has anything been found in relation to your irregular cycle?

VenusStarr · 30/07/2019 06:15

I agree with @ReeReeR, go back to the doctor and push for a re-referral @Avocuddles. I'm sorry you're looking like you're having a longer cycle, fingers crossed for ovulation soon.

Am wide awake 😳 which means I'll be knackered later!

Navy123 · 30/07/2019 07:24

@VenusStarr I know! No self referrals here for epu either no. I've booked to see gp next week if no af yet to ask for referrals. I think we all symptom spot like you are too!

@Squiff70 good luck with the rmc - 3 months is still a long time, just here is even longer!

@ReeReeR fingers crossed if you're testing today!

@Avocuddles so frustrating that they've removed you, a mc really shouldn't count like that, it's completely unfair! Hope the gp is sympathetic.

Still a line this morning, can't tell if it's darker or not!

ReeReeR · 30/07/2019 07:42

Morning guys I’ve I tested with FRER and I can see a second line but v faint

ReeReeR · 30/07/2019 07:45

I don’t know how to get a pic but if I can see two lines then it’s +ve even if it’s really feint

But should I have a stronger line for 11 DPO

Annoyingly I just threw the rest of my pee in the loo and I could have used another test but a FRER would have been most likely to pick it up 🤔

ReeReeR · 30/07/2019 07:48

I don’t think I can get a better pic

VenusStarr · 30/07/2019 07:52

I can see it @ReeReeR tentative congratulations 🤞 don't worry about the darkness of the line, 11dpo is still quite early I think. Its looking good at the moment. Maybe hold off testing again until Thursday?

Very happy for you ❤️
