@Lozzlepop awh it must be hard after what you have been through. Positive vibes to you and hopefully a healthy 9 months for you.

Nothing we can really say apart from we are here for you to rant to whenever you want :) xxx

Lozzlepop · 16/07/2019 16:33

Thanks @Anny27 that means the world, you ladies are all so amazing!! 😘thank you for your kind words! At this stage I guess all I can do is cross my fingers and hope all is ok!

ELW85 · 16/07/2019 16:49

Hi all

Sorry - I’m playing catch up after such a long day!

Unfortunately, the brown discharge has gotten worse so I’m headed into A&E and then potentially EPU.
I’m trying to stay positive and calm but realistically won’t feel any better until they’ve had a look, so off I go.

@Lozzlepop - I really hope you’re ok, it’s such a difficult time to try and relax when these things happen xx

MrsH497 · 16/07/2019 16:58

Oh @ELW85 lovely I'm thinking of you and keeping everything crossed xx

Lozzlepop · 16/07/2019 17:07

@ELW85 I’m so sorry to hear this lovely! I hope you are doing ok, you’ll be in the best hands possible at A&E and hopefully everything is ok! Sending lots of love xx

LokiCat · 16/07/2019 17:33

@ELW85 I'm so sorry. I hope everything is fine and you get some reassurance in A&E/EPU. Lots of hugs and love ❤️

@Lozzlepop that sounds lovely. Get some rest and hopefully everything is okay for you, as well ❤️

As @Anny27 has said, we're here for you both!

purplefig · 16/07/2019 18:03

@ELW85 oh I'm sorry to read that. I hope everything is fine and like everyone else has said, you're in the best possible hands.

@Lozzlepop light spotting is quite common in early pregnancy, but I totally understand how anxiety inducing this is after what you've been through. I would say, please do ring the EPU if you're worried. You're 100% not wasting their time - even just hearing their reassurance may help with your stress levels. Enjoy dinner being cooked for you and try and get some rest.

MrsEG · 16/07/2019 19:29

@ELW85 @Lozzlepop I’ve got my fingers firmly crossed for both of you ♥️

ELW85 · 16/07/2019 20:05

Hi all

Just in from A&E. They basically said it’s a waiting game and test in 2 weeks to see if the pregnancy sticks.
Just really sad.

Thank you for all of the lovely messages of support though, @LokiCat @Lozzlepop @MrsEG @MrsH497 @Larrydavid. Sorry if I’ve missed tagging anyone - he head is not in it tonight xx

purplefig · 16/07/2019 20:14

@ELW85 huge great big hugs. I'm so sorry you're going through this, uncertainty is so difficult to deal with. I hope you can get an early night and some rest, and at least wake up a bit more refreshed tomorrow. Thinking of you. Xx

ELW85 · 16/07/2019 20:17

Thank you @purplefig - I hope you’re doing really well :) xx

MrsH497 · 16/07/2019 20:26

Sending massive hugs @ELW85 keeping everything crossed for you and bean xx

ValidUser · 16/07/2019 20:34

@ELW85 thinking of you, and fingers crossed for you xx

Macbless · 16/07/2019 20:57

Hi

I’ve been reading this thread for a while and been wanting to join but not been brave enough to post. You all seem like the loveliest bunch of supportive women. I really hope that everything works out for you @ELW85. Just a horrible waiting game.

If it is ok to join... I just say that i’m CD 2 of cycle 3. TTC#1. I’m 36 and my husband is 39. We only got married in May but my sister and mum both were/are very fertile and got pregnant by accident or at the first month of trying. I sort of hoped I would be the same, although I’m a lot older than either of them were when they had children. This just seems a nice supportive space to be able to speak about what is mainly in my head!

@LokiCat @purplefig thanks for your kind words ladies, I came home and DP cooked a lovely risotto and make me a cuppa so I’ve not moved from the sofa all night and am looking forward to climbing into bed after love island (don’t judge 😂) not bad anymore spotting and have felt good since I got in- apart from the start of a sore throat!

@MrsEG thank you, how are you doing?

@ELW85 aw hun I have everything crossed for you, I really hope it’s a sticky bean. Are you able to work from home for the next wee while? Get lots of rest and be kind to yourself, we are all here for you ❤️ I know exactly how you are feeling right now- the waiting is just awful! xx

@Macbless welcome to the thread lovely! Are you using anything to track your cycles?

MIW01 · 16/07/2019 21:12

Hello

Hope it is OK to join. I'm new, only started TTC #1 this month, so 1st cycle. But DP and I had some tests done due to family history and turns out my progesterone is low (28). FSH and LH levels are normal so I'm definitely ovulating. DP has sluggish sperm apparently. So we're feeling a bit down about those results and obviously concerned we'll find it difficult to conceive.

I'm 34 soon so GP has reassured us that she will refer us in time before the dreaded 35 cut off! And has told us to just keep trying! I'm now 10dpo and will do a test this weekend but not feeling too hopefull. Sad

I've just joined for some support really cause no one else knows and I think DP is feeling really bad about his results cause he's otherwise a beacon of health! I've been told to get my BMI and waist measurement down (the dreaded belly fat) so I'm eating fish, eggs, vegetables, nuts and seeds only. Cut the caffeine, dairy, meat, grain, alcohol etc. In an attempt to make this happen. We're an active couple in general. Just need to work on stress management! Easier said than done. It's lovely and reassuring to read your stories and realise I'm not alone!

LokiCat · 16/07/2019 21:23

@ELW85 lots and lots of hugs for you. I'm so sorry about this. Keeping everything crossed for you and thinking of you. I hope the next two weeks go quickly xxx

@Macbless welcome, of course you can join :)
I know it's difficult when it seems like everyone can get pregnant so quickly. Have you been tracking your cycles?

@Lozzlepop ah that sounds lovely, your DP sounds brilliant and so supportive. I can't judge since I've been watching Love Island as well 🙈😂
Glad you're feeling better and the spotting has stopped. Really hope the sore throat doesn't get worse! xx

@MIW01 welcome, as well! Sorry that the results weren't what you hoped - I guess it's better that you have some answers and hopefully can have a plan soon. I hope the referral comes through soon!
I need to work on my weight as well.. been trying to go to the gym recently and trying to eat better, although the occasional chocolate craving makes that a bit difficult!

Macbless · 16/07/2019 21:24

Thanks @Lozzlepop
I was using natural cycles as a contraception before and then switched to planning pregnancy in May. So I’m pretty good at temping. Managed to get my first strong positive OPK last month and we DTD at the right times but still got my AF. Just hard not to compare to my close friends and family who got pregnant really quickly.

Anny27 · 16/07/2019 21:28

Welcome @macbless and @MIW01 :)

@macbless it can be so disheartening when you do everything "right" but still dont conceive. But i just keep reminding myself its a 30% chance each month so i try not to get too down (although its hard to stay positive!)

@MIW01 sorry about your test results but good news that you are being looked after by the GP :)

PippaPug · 16/07/2019 21:43

@ELW85 - I have my fingers crossed tightly for you x

@Lozzlepop - How are you?

Sorry I have been so quiet - getting everything ready for the wedding in a few days so not been on here as much!

Lozzlepop · 16/07/2019 21:45

@MIW01 hello and welcome ☺️

@LokiCat thanks lovely, had a lovely chilled night which was just what was needed! It’s so addictive isn’t it? Terrible TV but I can’t gear myself away! Hoping a good nights sleep will sort it out!

@Macbless that’s fab, I’ve never tried temping but I know a lot of the ladies on here do! It is hard but every couple is different and we just need to remember that for some people it takes longer than others but that we will all get there ❤️

MrsLBear · 16/07/2019 21:46

Got everything crossed for you @ELW85. I don't wish that on my worst enemy ❤️ take it easy x

Lozzlepop · 16/07/2019 21:47

@PippaPug I’m ok thanks, had a nice chilled night! Just got to get through these next few weeks and stay positive until I can get in for a scan! How are you feeling? Are you all set for the wedding??
