One dpo today, ovulation confirmed by positive opk. Started taking Fertilty Support for Her this cycle and hit my peak at 200 on Friday morning and experienced a cramping pain on the left side of my abdomen later that evening (first time I’ve ever had ovulation pain before)! Smile Started cycle 5 this month! BBT is also beginning to climb! Anyone starting their ttw?!! Eagerly waiting to see what will become of this month! Halo

@MummyMilla
I'll have to wait til Monday to test as partner is away on stag do this weekend! Arghh, another 2 days extra to wait (if period no show of course)
We talked about testing on Thurs before he goes but would then feel weird if it was positive & he was away for 3 days! So going to wait, it would definitely be late by then though.

Are you testing on Saturday? I think a few people are, will be rooting for you all.
Have you got your Amazon order in?! Which ones do you go for? I have a selection of FR, clearblue digital and some cheap dip sticks (got carried away! Bloody Prime!)

keanubelieves · 18/06/2019 17:27

35 too but my siblings and mum all took 9 months+ to conceive all their kids so i think i wouldn't worry too much until around a year (although that would be harder said than done). Trying to stay zen Grin

CreekyBeaky · 18/06/2019 18:01

Urgh, I gave in and tested today and BFN, I’m 11dpo and it was mid afternoon as soon as my tests arrived! I wish I hadn’t bothered. I’m going to try and wait another 48 hours before testing again and do it with FMU next time 🙄

lonelyonee · 18/06/2019 18:37

Hey @Mymedusa24 !
Update on what's happening with me, basically had sharp stabbing pains right in the middle of my uterus yesterday evening, followed by a dull ache not quite cramps ever since. Episodes of going dizzy (more like the feeling of being on a boat) has gone through the roof today, must of happened about 4/5 times during work.
I have to say I'm interested in these fertility sachets! May have to look those up!
@Hopeful2020 @MummyMilla Saturday seems to be the main testing day for us lot, Although Monday will be even more promising as you'll get a super clear line I bet! I'm debating which tests to use atm as I have a few different ones.
@CreekyBeaky aw no, don't get too down, it's still early to test, when's AF due for you? The weekend? I'm also 11days PO & AF is due for me Saturday.
@ELW85 haha I'm the same I've just had pizza to cheer myself up as I'm having to tell myself I may just be over analysing and might get a BFN Saturday Sad
Positive thoughts ladies!

CreekyBeaky · 18/06/2019 18:47

@lonelyonee AF is due on Saturday for me too. I’ve still got a raging cold so I’m now feeling very sorry for myself! I’m going to test again Thursday and then again Saturday. TWW is awful!

lonelyonee · 18/06/2019 19:04

@CreekyBeaky really? Could be hay fever as the pollen levels are high, you can get it at any time even if you've never suffered with it before and it does come with cold like symptoms! Maybe a big pizza is in order for you too! I'm gonna wait til Saturday as I don't want the chance of getting a BFN before then and getting me down. I don't know, there's no right or wrong with this, I'm learning all sorts!

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 19:18

Thank you @Hopeful2020 - that was a lovely message. Sending love and hope to all of us in this crazy boat too! X

@MummyMilla - the way that I look at the doctors, is if it’s on your mind, go and get some advice :)
It’s worth it for either the peace of mind or the support, and so I’d go and have a chat with them!
The NHS have different guidelines in different health trusts/locations, so in mine, they refer over 35s after 6 months of trying, but it’s 18 months for under 35s. Crazy difference!

MummyMilla · 18/06/2019 20:29

@ELW85 that is a crazy difference...I do wonder if it represents the big drop in fertility?

@lonelyonee I am going to get a few different tests I think and maybe start on Friday! Ha ha

Every blinking twinge and pain is just making me wonder "is this period or pg?"

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 20:49

@MummyMilla - isn’t it? We’re actually in the middle of a discussion with our surgery, as we tried to pay for a private MOT and the clinic told us that the 6/12/18 month wait doesn’t apply to diagnostic tests, only treatment so the NHS shouldn’t have refused to help.

keanubelieves · 18/06/2019 21:50

Today's ridiculous symptom spotting: I'm craving cheese!!!

NB I had literally no cravings whilst actually pg and went off food completely Hmm Grin

Mymedusa24 · 19/06/2019 02:29

@Treaclepie19 Maybe it’s a mixture of both?! I’m sorry to hear you have felt so unwell today though! Fingers crossed it’s all PG related! 🙂

@Keanubelieves My CM has turned watery too, but I’m not sure about it either. I read for some it thickens up and for others it does get watery, (in early pregnancy) so both can be good signs as odd as that sounds!? 🤔

@ELW85 And no problem, that’s we’re here for!!! 🙂 I wouldn’t let that terrify you though, like everyone is saying, it will happen when it’s supposed too! ❤️

@Hopeful2020 What a message! ❤️
You got that right!! Whether we all are or not, we can all be hopeful, and with patience it will happen for all of us! 😃

And oh my! Did everyone have pizza but me today?! I thought we were in this together guys!! 😂

@MummyMilla That sounds just like how the cramps and aches were hitting me too! I had cramps here and there (2-5 dpo) and then bam! 6 dpo hits me with a full day of this heavy cramp (almost like a pms cramp for me but it felt lower) and then 8 dpo comes with an ache that felt really deep like it was maybe in my uterus!? (Mild but steady) and these past two days the cramps are beginning to feel like my pms cramps but it’s like as soon as they hit me - they’re gone within minutes!!

I am totally there with ya though!

@Keanubelieves (again lol, going with the messages! 😂) I I agree with at least waiting a full year too! Statistics and this & that, I know it’s all important to know, (not being sarcastic! 🙂) but it just doesn’t change how I feel about it! It’s probably my faith speaking more than anything though!

Abraham and Sarah conceived a child when they were supposed to be too old!!! 😋😂

@CreakyBeaky Hey it happens! I know what you mean though, I was wishing I wouldn’t have tested on Sunday, but I did! I wouldn’t let it discourage you though! Waiting another 48 hours is a good idea if you can!!! 😋

@lonelyonee Those all sound very promising!!! 😃 A lot for one day too! It’s crazy how that happens!!! But I think it’s an option worth considering! So much is new in this cycle for me, and that’s the only thing different I’ve done besides keeping my daily caffeine 200 mg or less! And I did a lot of research wanting to find something natural to make sure I didn’t start using anything that could mess me up as I am regulated and a lot of stuff out there is for people who have irregular cycles. So if your regulated, and you use the wrong product, it can have the adverse effect on you! (Just wanted to add that so you know to be cautious if other products start catching your eyes! 🙂) But there so many awesome stories with people TTC for so many months to so many years getting pregnant so quickly using it! 😃 But enough of my rambling about that!

Don’t you get down either now! It’s still early for us all, and we’re not out this month until AF tries to come for us!

You’re right though, there is no right or wrong in this, I think it’s safe to say we’re all still learning!!! 🙂

@ELW85 (again 😂) I love your response towards mummy21l ! 🙂 (About visiting a doctor!) I find it so neat how encouraging we are to one another, but still openly honest (instead of trying to shove opinions or say this or that about things we all feel different about)! 😃

Excuse the long message! Lol, but please note there are two messages in there for some of you! I was going with the flow! 🤣

OP posts:
Mymedusa24 · 19/06/2019 02:44

My heart goes out to everybody, but I think in this waiting for each of us, it’ll just make it that much more special for all of us.
It’s not easy by any means, but I know we’ll all count it joy and every second will be worth it

  • more than words could express -
when that time does come for each and everyone of us! 🙂

@Mymedusa24 - thank you for the encouraging messages.
There are some really supportive groups here, and it’s great to see :)

MummyMilla · 19/06/2019 07:59

@mymedusa24 thank you from me too. I've woken up today and boobs feel less full & achy and I suspect I am now heading in to regular PMS territory. Booooo!

It certainly feels quite 'heavy' down below and I'm also getting bloated. Sort of tempted to just test when tests arrive as I'm now starting to think it's not going to be my month. So may as well get the disappointment out of the way...

Hopeful2020 · 19/06/2019 09:42

Such lovely messages & such a nice group, really helps to support each other.
I would say it's not over until period comes, but....
I'm 12dpo today, not much happening at all, but my temps have dropped down the past few days, still above cover line but only just. Hoping it's implantation dip, but I had what I thought was maybe implantation bleed on Sunday & Monday & nothing since. I've googled (oops) and is suggests that if you're pregnant temps stay high, but it's not a very reliable indicator, but also that implantation bleeds might be a myth and just normal spotting!!
Thoughts ?
I'm sure I had implantation bleed with my first pregnancy as I thought it was period but it never came to anything. And I never ever get any spotting or bleeding between periods usually?
Desperate to test but want to hang on... Xx

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 11:16

Hopeful2020 I had some bleeding last pregnancy, the day before and the day after af was due. First little drops and then enough I thought I'd miscarried.
The doctor said it was implantation bleeding.
So it could be a good sign for you!

ELW85 · 19/06/2019 13:13

I’m out ladies, which means a short LP too (10/11 days). Pretty gutted

Mymedusa24 · 19/06/2019 13:23

@Hopeful2020 No temps can be helpful in different aspects of tracking, but your temps can be all over the chart so when it comes to being a good indicator if you are PG or not. They say not to rely on them!
And I don’t think IB is a myth, they say it occurs in 20-30% of pregnancies!
Fingers crossed for you it was IB for you! 🙂

OP posts:
Mymedusa24 · 19/06/2019 13:30

@ELW85 Oh no I’m sorry! 🙁 But I thought your LP was considered short if it last less than 10 days? 10 is a lower number than some, but more than 9 (Just trying to be positive)! 🙂

OP posts:
Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 13:39

@ELW85 I'm sorry you're out :(
Dont worry about the LP though. Mine is only 9/10.

Hopeful2020 · 19/06/2019 13:41

@Treaclepie19
Thanks, that sounds hopeful, I really hope so as it's my most promising sign so far! 🤞 how are things with you?

@Mymedusa24
I agree, too many people seem to have it to be a myth! And is definitely unusual for me so I'm clinging on to it! Tried to just forget about temps, mine are quite up and down anyway and can be tricky to pinpoint my ovulation with just that, so I combine it with LH tests & CM. So trying not to read into it. Cramping seems to have stopped now, nothing today & boobs feel pretty normal. I didn't get much symptoms until 6/7 weeks with previous pgs so guess it's a bit silly to be looking now!
How are you getting on? Are you still cramping?

@ELW85
Oh no so sorry to hear that, it's disappointing. I really feel for you as it's gutting & you get your hopes up. Be kind to yourself & here's to next time 🤞
Xxxx

ELW85 · 19/06/2019 13:42

Thanks everyone! Sat at work trying to not get upset.
I think it depends on when you count LP from, there is loads of conflicting info...but if I count from the day of Ov, it’s 11 days.

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 13:57

@Hopeful2020 I'm not feeling great to be honest! And torturing myself hoping it could be a good sign.

Especially when I know that every other time I've been pregnant it's been a month where I've had no symptoms and thought i was out.
Climbing the walls a little bit 🙈

keanubelieves · 19/06/2019 14:03

sorry @ELW85 Sad my lp was v short when i was last ttc (& weirdly my cycle was exactly 28 days after coming off the pill, when years before it'd always been really long) and i got my bfp at 9/10 dpo, whereas since coming off pill again last year my lp is always at least 13 days. it's different for everyone, i wouldn't worry unduly unless you were having real struggles ttc. Sending hugs xx
