Morning ladies. Well first week back done not too bad couple of wobbly moments. Just got to get through today then couple of days to relax. HAPPY FRIDAY everyone xx

It sounds like everyone has got some fantastic plans; we’re doing the garden and going to visit the MiL in her new house. Oh, and CrossFit tonight...I need better weekend plans 😂

@MrsH497 Yes! It’s the MOB Kitchen halloumi cauliflower curry recipe - it’s so easy and SO GOOD! Making some more tonight! Glad the week has gone well :)

@ELW85 Ha! I don’t actually know our plans for our anniversary yet - DH has just told me I need to leave at 1 for an hour as he needs the house?? And then I can come home... this is all I know of tomorrow’s plans! Enjoy CrossFit; I was going to go to the gym this morning before work and decided to hit the snooze button instead ;)

Good luck to anyone thinking of testing this weekend! But just remember if it doesn’t happen for you on Fathers Day it’s okay; no matter what day you get that BFP it will instantly be the most special day ever xx

@MrsH497 it’s a sad time when these occasions pop up and you think what could have been but we just keep to stay positive and keep on at it! Haha he had no excuse to be tired as he’s still on holiday so I was successful in my mission 😉 I think that’s a really sensible approach towards the baby shower, don’t put any pressure on yourself you might feel more like it the closer you get and if AF has returned etc! Hope your Friday goes quickly then you have the weekend to look forward to!

@MrsEG your curry sounds really yummy 😋 oooh DH sounds like he’s got a surprise for you, how lovely! Deffo a morning for snoozing the alarm! Was so hard getting up and leaving DP snoozing away this morning!

@ELW85 hope the weather holds out for you getting the garden done! We literally have no plans so not sure what we’ll get upto this weekend 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Larrydavid They're turning the venue into different sets from Mean Girls, then have photo ops, food and drinks from the movie and then a screening of the film on a big screen. Got my pink on today even though it's Friday, not Wednesday 

@MrsEG sorry about your gym experience. It's frustrating seeing some people take for granted but what we've all been wanting for months!
It sounds like you're going to have a great weekend ahead, though. Seems like your DH is planning something great! :) Hope you're feeling better this morning!

Morning all! So my temp dipped below coverline yesterday and it's still low today, which caused FF to change and say I haven't ovulated this cycle.. 🤔 should have been 11dpo today, so think it's fair to say I'm out this month!
But I've got a great weekend ahead and then we're off on holiday next week so going to focus on that instead!

@LokiCat haha yes my mission was successful, I think we should be ok for SMEP this month as we are rested from the holiday and he is still off but not sure if we could keep it up on "normal months" 😂Sorry to hear you might have not OVd this month, thats a bummer! Where are you off to on holiday? Means you can enjoy some cheeky drinks so every cloud 😄

AF has arrived... No spotting yesterday so that's a plus at least. Aside from that it's bang on time as usual. Onto cycle 12 :(
Getting my scan results from the doc today as well as a chat about next steps, which I believe is a gynaecologist appointment.

@ELW85 I know, I’m very intrigued! Although to be honest I’d be delighted if he just cleaned the house while I was out

@Lozzlepop Enjoy the garden party!! The rain is biblical here in Manchester so think it’s a night infront of Netflix for us later!

@LokiCat The Mean Girls things sounds so fun! Sorry to hear about your cycle this month, how frustrating. Hope the next one is much more straightforward :)

@Lozzlepop @ELW85 @MrsEG thanks ladies. I think a small part of me is still hopeful (hoping that FF is wrong) so I'm not feeling low yet.. will probably change when AF shows up!
We're off to Botswana for a safari holiday on Thursday! I'm so excited - it's always been at the top of my bucket list!!

Thanks everyone. Doc has already called and said she'll schedule appointment with fertility specialist and DH should go with me and have had his sample done by then. Not a clue what the wait it going to be, we'll see soon I guess! She just said about the liquid on/around my left ovary and the fibroids on my uterus they noticed, but she said she doubts the latter would cause fertility problems.

Ahh I'm having a mini meltdown!

This is our first proper cycle post MMC & I was really hoping we'd be able to make a good effort.

Work commitments this week have meant me and my DP have been like ships passing in the night. He's off to butlins this weekend & we last dtd Sunday 😐
My bbt has been a steady 36.3 for 10 days, my opks are slowly starting to raise so I hoped we'd be ok to carry on once he's back on Monday.
Today I've randomly had some very early morning spotting - nothing else since & I know it can't be ovulation bleeding due to my temp and opks but I'm just worrying I've missed the boat this cycle 🙁

I really need to chill! Chinese with mum tonight, catch up and relax to take my mind off things.

@Tashdreams I’m absolutely hopeless with OPK lines I only ever used the CB digital ones. Just keep at it haha! Enjoy the Chinese and just try to relax - hopefully if you’re DTD fairly regularly you’ll be in with a good chance!

Happy weekend ladies - I’ve had a long long day of finances and invoicing today so skipping the gym completely and heading home; I’m thinking long bath, book, maybe even some BD just for fun?? Feels strange having this month off! DH is still terrified though and suggested condoms (what are we, 18?) - I’ve told him he reaaaalllly doesn’t need to worry - my impending AF is all I need to know we’re very very safe haha!

Just popped on as I'm currently reading Expecting Better (thanks for the rec @MrsEG) and the first chapter is on conception. I've attached a couple of pages about accuracy on pinpointing ovulation - as I was shocked to see OPKs wipe the floor.

@purplefig - that is interesting, as peeing on a stick is far less faff than temping (I do get jealous of you all with your charts though!)

@purplefig I so agree! There are so so many external factors that can mess with your temps - it’s why I chose Ava in the end as at least I don’t have to worry about it always being the exact same time etc. But still use my CB OPKs to double check! Hope you’re enjoying the book :)

@starkid I liked doing both and seeing if the data matched 🤓 but temping just isn't practical for some people and it's good to know OPKs are pretty reliable.

@MrsEG I am, thanks for the recommendation! I think an Ava is a great idea too. The thing I hate about OPKs is the no drink / holding wee, which Ava would put an end to!

@purplefig I think that’s why I like the CB digital ones as you can do those with FMU (don’t know why!) and just once a day. How are you feeling at the mo? Hope everything is going excellent!

My Ava chart this morning looks amazing but it’s just because I have a cold!! Any other month I’d be bloody delighted with this haha! Never had my HR shoot up so high! Think I’m wrong about AF coming though, still having some small cramps but to properly look at this I’m only about 11DPO so fingers crossed, just a few more days of waiting.

What’s everyone up to today? I think I’ve dissed that DH just wants rid of me to make a nice dinner - he didn’t hide all of his food shopping too well yesterday!! Oh and the fact he asked if I could grab some nice bread on my way home 😂

@MrsEG good detective skills! A nice dinner sounds lovely though. Oooo your chart does looking banging 😂 I hope your cold improves soon. Something especially irritating about a summer cold. I'm pretty good thanks - mildly freaking out about a lack of nausea. Oh also, I'm happily drinking a coffee a day thanks to expecting better which dug into the research and concluded 200mg is VERY cautious - so thank you again, that book is the gift that keeps on giving!

@purplefig I know! I’m sure it’s from all the crap weather and my refusal to dig my winter clothes back out!! Glad you’re enjoying it :) If was the only book that came with glowing reviews, that and one by Clemmie Telford but I forget the name!! I wouldn’t worry too much - I have two friends who sailed through without any nausea at all, you’ll just be one of the lucky ones!
