@MrsEG thanks lovely ❤️ that would be nice after reading some people's experiences 😷. Ohhh I follow her on Instagram - I might get that one too. I know what you mean, had my parka out yesterday. It's JUNE!

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 08:00

@purplefig Yep - believe it or not, I have one friend who found out she was pregnant... at 18 weeks. She’d been a bit groggy but nothing to write home about - went to GP for ‘bloating’. She’d been having a few light bleeds that she thought were periods. Apparently not haha!! She gave birth in Feb.
I know - I’ve been in my ‘big socks’ and waterproofs. It’s horrible! Adamant the heating isn’t going on though! Hope you have a fab weekend!

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 08:08

@purplefig Also, you’re still quite early aren’t you? My sister suffered terribly with sickness but it didn’t start til 7 weeks. So it may yet come!! In which case, enjoy the lack of it while it lasts :)

purplefig · 15/06/2019 08:49

@MrsEG oh you're stronger willed than me....I've had the heating on all week 😳. That's incredible about your friend - that's nearly halfway!! Must've felt like a super short pregnancy for her 😂. Yeah I'm only 5+4 so still early days really. I'll probably look back and hate myself for not making the most of it! You have an awesome weekend with your lovely husband too xx

Fivebyfive2 · 15/06/2019 09:22

Hi ladies, just checking in!

@MrsEG, the special dinner with nice bread sounds awesome! Hopefully it will make you feel better xx I know what you mean about the weather, it is ridiculous!

Got the letter through to say my 12 week scan is 1st July, so only about 2 weeks to wait, so exciting! Fingers crossed all is OK, dh is getting very itchy to tell people!!

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 10:19

@Fivebyfive2 Hello lovely! How are you feeling?? Ahh that is so so soon. I’m wishing the rest of June away too as I get my test results July 4! I bet you can’t wait for everyone to just know! X

Fivebyfive2 · 15/06/2019 10:45

@MrsEG, isn't it weird how early July somehow seems to be coming around so fast, but also like it just needs to Be Here already?! I'm good thanks hun, although I did have a little wobble the other day. I started feeling less tired and for some reason thought 'this is because everyone at work knows, it's started to go wrong and now I have more people to give bad news to'?!! Like, wtaf is that thought process about?! Anyhooo, feeling knackered and achy today so obviously was just a blip!! How are you feeling? Have you decuced what meal you're getting tonight? Xxx

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 11:03

@Fivebyfive2 You’ll be absolutely fine - like I mentioned above symptoms don’t stay exactly the same every day and will come and go, hence why some women don’t even know they’re pregnant! Are you off on your holiday soon wasn’t that around 10 weeks?? I’ve had a peak at the ingredients and my guess is some form of stew as there seems to be a lot of cans of various pulses down there!! I’ve also spied ice-cream in the freezer; I’m guessing needing bread means he’s probably doing soup to start! He never ever ever cooks so when he does the kitchen takes an absolute beating, so I’m hoping him doing the cleaning is also part of the deal!!

Fivebyfive2 · 15/06/2019 11:18

@MrsEG, aaah bless him, sounds like my dh a bit, our kitchen often looks like a bomb has gone off even if he is just cooking pasta?! 😂 Soup and stew sounds lovely, especially in this weirdly winter type weather!!

Yep we go away on Thursday, really excited now, just to get away and chill just the 2 (3?!) of us! I'm gonna eat so many pastries 😋 Pay no attention to my dramatic tones, I know all is almost certainly fine. Basically, a couple of people at work tactlessly 'announced' they'd noticed I'm getting a bit bigger and 'anything you're trying to hide' etc, resulting in the whole office now knowing I'm pregnant, when I wanted to wait until after my scan to announce!! It just threw me a bit I think. But all OK now! Xx

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 12:14

@Fivebyfive2 What!? Are you close to your colleague? If someone at work told me I was looking bigger I’d punch them!! ‘I’ve just had a very big lunch thank you very much!’ Did you lie or just own up? Oh well - at least it’s out in the open; hopefully work can start giving you some special treatment! In my office it means an upgrade to The Comfy Chair and absolutely zero overseas trips - one of the things I’m most looking forward to tbh haha (love travelling, HATE the events and long hours abroad!!)

Enjoy the holiday! Oh man go for those pastries - a cinnamon bun would be my death row dinner!!

Fivebyfive2 · 15/06/2019 12:44

@MrsEG, luckily there's only 10 of us at work and we're pretty tight. I tried to fib my way out of it, but I'm so uncool, I could just feel myself going red! Others had guessed but were being normal people and waiting for me to say something! I think these 2 just got a bit over excited. I was annoyed at first, because I was excited to tell them all after my scan, but ah well. Onwards and upwards! Xx

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 13:01

@Fivebyfive2 Ah that must be so nice working in such a small close-knit team! We’re relatively small but there’s 50 of us now so not as close as we all used to be! At least they have still technically found out after a scan :) And sounds like they’ll be an amazing support for you!! Have a fabulous holiday x

MrsH497 · 15/06/2019 14:06

First bad day in a while I can't snap out of it. Still no AF the waiting is killing me and BFN on FRER I just want to feel normal again.

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 14:17

Hi everyone, sorry I took a mental break back in thread 16! Hope there has been some BFP (big fat positive) news.

Currently in 2 week wait and trying not to breakdown, as 13 days before period I already have my typical lower back symptoms sad. Lasting over a week now so so disappointed in myself.

Anything positive happening for anyone else??

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 14:28

@MrsH497 when is AF due?

MrsH497 · 15/06/2019 14:34

@LindyMoe I'm waiting for first one post MC which was 4 weeks ago

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 14:37

@MrsH497 right ok. I'm sorry it's a bad day, is there you can do to distract yourself today just to give your mind a break?

Lozzlepop · 15/06/2019 15:24

@MrsH497 sorry you are having a rough day, I’m trying to combat a terrible slug infestation in my garden if that cheers you up 😂😂

XjustagirlX · 15/06/2019 16:41

Hi ladies

So I’m on 9dpo. AF I think is due on Tuesday. I’ve had really bad cramping. I had some brown spotting on 7dpo and 8dpo. Today I have had a lot more blood. But it’s really dark brown not bright red. The cramping has gone quite bad today. I’m so confused whether this is implantation bleeding or my period. How do I know?

Also I did a test this morning but it was negative. But from looking online I’ve read that it’s best to use the afternoon or evening urine not the morning one.

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 16:58

@MrsH497 So sorry you’re having a bad day. It took 5 weeks post MC for my AF to come back, so hopefully it won’t be much longer now and can put you out of your misery.

Hello again @LindyMoe!

@XjustagirlX It’s always best to use FMU for a pregnancy test as your urine is much more concentrated first thing. Have you ever had your AF this early before?

XjustagirlX · 15/06/2019 17:13

@MrsEG my cycles have been 34, 30, 35 but the 30 cycle was a really light period mainly just some spotting.

I’ve heard it should be FMU but I read this online which suggests later in the day is better if you are resting before 13dpo. So confused 🤷‍♀️

Daisydoodles92 · 15/06/2019 17:34

@MrsH497 its normal to take 4-6 weeks I was told when I had mine. I know how frustrated you must be though, I MC 25th March and still no first AF yet due to retained tissue. Had ERPC 3 weeks ago yesterday and positive opk today which will make AF 5 weeks from then. I was told sometimes it can take longer and it doesn't mean theres anything wrong. You need to give yourself time and dont beat yourself up 💜

It's been 11 weeks since my MC and only just starting to feel normal ish. I've come to the realisation that I've got no control over most of this process and the only thing I have control of is to look after myself. We actually aren't trying this month, as advised when I had procedure, but also just to give ourselves a break and feel normal for a bit longer. Feeling really guilty that we're missing the opportunity though! 🤦‍♀️
Really gets a grip on you doesn't it!

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 17:35

Sorry what does FMU mean?

Daisydoodles92 · 15/06/2019 17:39

@LindyMoe first morning urine x

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 17:43

@daisydoodles92 thank you!
Getting a little worried about my back pain, been a week now. Anyone else ever experienced it? Had it since I apparently ovulated...

Am I sick?? Google is telling me horrible things!!
