One month (dc1) and two years later two months (dc2)

Megan2018 · 02/06/2019 18:50

Conceived at 40, took less than a year but wasn’t trying very hard. I think it was 7/8 months but with only having sex a few times a month (long story). DH was 45.

MrsRyan15 · 02/06/2019 18:52

18 months, was 36 when we started ttc. Finally conceived a few months before turning 38 and baby due in August.

Ohyesiam · 02/06/2019 18:52

37, got pregnant first month. 40 got pregnant first month.
I’m 53 and still having periods. I think my body wanted me to have about 10 children.

Ploppymoodypants · 02/06/2019 18:52

Second baby at 39, took 3 years and 3 miscarriages.
Had 1st baby at 32 and caught ten days after coming off the pill which I had been taking for 26 years!

WhiteVixen · 02/06/2019 18:54

I conceived in late January this year, I turned 38 in April, I’m now 20 weeks. We’ve been ttc for about three years. First child was conceived when I was 29 after two months ttc (for comparison).

Mablethorpe · 02/06/2019 18:55

DS was conceived the first month of trying but it took us 11 months with our DD 4 years earlier. I was 28 with her and 32 with DS.

Smellybluecheese · 02/06/2019 18:56

MayFayner · 02/06/2019 18:58

Second month age 37. First month age 38 (nearly 39).

RaptorWhiskers · 02/06/2019 18:58

Ten months aged 37. I discovered afterwards that I have previously undiagnosed fibroids, no symptoms.

NurseNancyandDoctorDavid · 02/06/2019 19:01

TheRedBarrows · 02/06/2019 19:04

FamilyOhNo · 02/06/2019 19:06

MrHaroldFry · 02/06/2019 19:22

About a year, went to Doc who told me OH to go buy a good bottle of wine and enjoy each other's company 🤣
We DTD and that was the night we conceived twins!!!

iMatter · 02/06/2019 19:24

Ds1 at 36 - 2 months of trying

Ds2 at 37 - 3 months after ds1 was born. Not actively trying - ds1 was exclusively breastfed and I got the shock of my life (but a good shock) when I realised I was pg with ds2

ChicaXS · 02/06/2019 19:28

I’m 36 and this thread has made me feel better!!! It’s been 9 months (only started actively trying with OPKs since May 2019) so fingers crossed! I have PCOS so periods never regular!!

MoonMerry · 02/06/2019 19:32

First month aged 37

CherryPavlova · 02/06/2019 19:37

At 38, I became pregnant within about six weeks of a stillbirth. Probably not ideal but I needed to fill the hole in my arms. Must have been first or second time of trying.

IWouldLikeToKnow · 02/06/2019 19:51

Got pregnant at 38 after 6 months, had a miscarriage and then again after 6 months got pregnant again. Baby was born when I was almost 40

MyDcAreMarvel · 02/06/2019 19:55

Pregnant after four months aged 40, had a miscarriage then conceived again 10 months later aged 41. Am now four months pregnant.

Backhometothenorth · 02/06/2019 20:51

First month with DD1 at 38, 6 months at 40 and 41 but miscarried both times unfortunately. We had given up hope and trying and then conceived by magic at 42 and had DD2 at 43.

EverythingNow · 03/06/2019 07:57

I'm 39, 40 in a few weeks. I got pregnant with number 4 after 19 cycles and one early miscarriage. I'm currently 31wks. This was active ttc though there were a few months when DH was I'll over the window.

My other children were much quicker.

Halimeda · 03/06/2019 07:58

Second month. Did a positive pregnancy test on my 39 th birthday.

Hedgehogblues · 03/06/2019 07:59

Six months. But we tried on and off for twenty years and the doctors told us it was never going to happen without intervention. We decided to give it one last shot

applesarerroundandshiny · 03/06/2019 08:06

Had my first at 38 - took 2-3 years to conceive
