First timer. 10dpo urge to test!

Hi all.

This is mine and my partners first month of trying! I am 10dpo and tested at 2po and 8dpo (got BFN!!!) I now know that that was far too early! I'm now 10dpo and AF is due on fri/sat! Itching to test again but don't want to get disappointed!

Have sore boobs, bloating, nausea and can't stop eating but the symptoms are similar to AF symptoms!

Why does the mind play tricks on us 😔

Anyone else in the same situ?

Still nothing for me just the odd brown spot. It’s so strange 🤔. My cycles have been so irregular since stopping birth control and last month I had a 29 day cycle so I was so excited to be getting back to normal. No such hope 🙈. Although ovulation was confirmed by bloods this month so I actually am officially late! X

@Seli3025 Sorry to hear the witch is here! Onto the next cycle 😊 The Birthday party was lovely....I've had period type pains today so who knows what's happening. My bleed on the pill was like clockwork I don't know when or if AF will arrive! I got into town too late for Boots. I ended up getting Sainsbury's own, they're a lot like the cheaper clear blue ones. There's one test in the cupboard, and it's staying there till at least Wednesday!

Wondering if I should make a new thread for this month? Also want to make a thread on conceiving tricks... e.g. things to eat, vitamins people take... what do you all reckon? ✌️

@Seli3025 I will, no sign of anything today other than a dull ache in my lower stomach.....

I think this tread is good, keep going with this one. But I'd go for a new thread for Tricks to conceive.

Keep at it this month I guess lol. 🤞 thinking of using different opks to the ones I have been using though (Internet cheapies).

Ah okay! What are your cycles usually like? AF arrived for me on day 30 🙄

@Seli3025 That's the thing. I just don't know, I've been on and off the pill for 10 years and solidly for the past 5! I think I've only had a handful of AF that weren't pill induced. I just wish she'd come so I know I can get back into a normal cycle.

@NLouise123 I don’t know if you’ve already said, but did you use opks? Maybe your body is just adjusting and getting back to normal.

@Carley321 No we didn't. It's only our first cycle so it was all pretty new to me in terms of OPK's and tracking ov, plus we didn't want to get caught up in it first cycle...I'm not sure if I managed that!

Probably a good thing @NLouise123 But maybe your body is just getting used to not being on birth control. It took me a few months to get my first period after the pill. Not saying it’s the same for you though.
