One ready for trigger, one a little behind. Advised to trigger in the morning! 😊😊😊🤞

@purplefig sounds like you are in a really good headspace at the minute and good that you are focusing on other areas of your life! How was the festival did you have a good time?

@Larrydavid welcome to the thread 😊

So snoozy today after May Madness at the gym counting down till hometime- now ladies if you didn't already know today is national biscuit day so I urge you all to go home and enjoy a biccie with a decaf tonight 😉

purplefig · 29/05/2019 16:20

@Larrydavid welcome! Do you want to share your stats? I think there's a fairly decent range of people in this thread so probably someone similar to your position. FWIW I'm 28 on cycle 9 of ttc and currently (I think!!) 4DPO.

@Tashdreams so sorry to hear this cycle is still dragging on for you - hopefully the GP can shed some light. And I think I speak for most people on here that it's fineeeeee to come on here for a good ol' vent. Sometimes it really can help and make you feel less alone.

@Mrskcam sorry to hear it was late -really annoying if you're usually super regular I can imagine. I think your approach sounds really sensible and I hope you feel more like you again soon.

@ValidUser ooo exciting! So how does one 'trigger'?! If you do that tomorrow does it count as ovulation day? I'll keep my fingers metaphorically crossed!

@Lozzlepop haha I am - hope it's not too insufferable! The festival was great thanks, a really chilled out time with lots of self care ish activities. Hence the zen mood 😂. I think I've also realised that while not temping/OPKing has been great for not getting to caught up, I think there have been many, many months where we've missed our slot so to speak. So I'm feeling quite (cautiously!) hopeful again now that I'm tracking.

@orangeloo ohhh that does sound frustrating. Have you got a next step in mind?

Lozzlepop · 29/05/2019 16:21

@Mrskcam sorry to hear AF got you! Listen to your body and try again when you feel completely ready sending lots of love ❤️

@ValidUser WOOHOOOOOO!!!!

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 16:59

Thanks @Lozzlepop!

@purplefig I injections hcg tomorrow and that makes the egg(s) mature and release. Friday will be ovulation day! 🤞

Lola871 · 29/05/2019 17:01

Hey all, sorry AF got you @Mrskcam, sometimes I think it's probably helpful to take a break!

Ooh good luck @ValidUser - does that mean an injection tomorrow? What will the injection do? I hope you don't mind all the questions, I'm just interested in how it works!

@Lozzlepop that's a great reason for a biscuit today, but what excuse do I use for all the other biscuits I eat???

Still waiting for AF to show up here, due tomorrow at the latest. I've felt a few times over the last 2-3 days that it was imminent but it's holding out on me!

Lola871 · 29/05/2019 17:03

Cross posted with you @ValidUser, you've already answered my question!

XjustagirlX · 29/05/2019 17:42

Hi ladies
I hope you can help coz I’m stressing out.

So I only started TTC this month. I’m currently on cd 16. I don’t believe I have ovulated yet according to my apps, my CM and my OPKs.

However since 2 days ago. I have got the most painful period pain. It feels like when you eat something dodgy on holiday. I am getting stabby pains and dull aches. I also have a really painful back.

I’m worried as I never get period pain really and if I do it is usually during my period and it doesn’t last long. I feel a little bit woosy but I haven’t been sick.

I have thought maybe a water infection but it doesn’t hurt when I go to the toilet. And I haven’t eaten anything off. Also I’m convinced I’m a bit swollen (sorry TMI).

Have any of you ever experienced anything like this?

TIA x

LokiCat · 29/05/2019 18:00

@ELW85 thanks! He is a good'un, I imagine they must sense these things!
I'm glad you're feeling more positive today, sorry you had a low one yesterday. I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by pregnant women, there were 3 on the train today! But as you've said it'll hopefully be our turn soon! I hope you had a lovely day 😊

@Lozzlepop @Bettythecat i kept my tests in my underwear drawer for a little while, but felt quite low when I saw them every morning, so asked DH to throw them out (I wasn't able to myself!). Hopefully we'll all have some new ones soon 🤞🏽

@Lozzlepop I may use your hidden folder idea so I don't keep coming across them!
I wish I'd read about national biscuit day before reaching home! We have none in the house 😱 just an excuse to have some more tomorrow! 😂
Hope your sniffles are gone!!

@PaintingOwls sorry for your BFN. 10dpo is still early so fx you're still in!

@purplefig welcome back! Sounds like you had a relaxing time away and you caught ovulation!! 🤞🏽 hope the festival was good and your acupuncture appt goes well tonight x

@Larrydavid welcome! Lovely bunch of ladies on here and so supportive when you need a shoulder. Always welcome here x

@Mrskcam sorry AF showed up :( It's important you feel good, as ttc can become quite stressful. Take care of yourself ❤️

@orangeloo glad your bloods came back normal but at the same time sorry you haven't got any answers! Fx you get your bfp and don't have to worry about it, as you say.
It is frustrating that if something comes back normal GPs don't worry about it. I had to push quite a bit to get a second ultrasound scan for PCO because the first one came back normal. We just know our bodies better!

@Tashdreams bless you, I'm glad they're discussing tests to figure out why AF still hasn't shown! I hope you get some answers or AF finally shows! You're welcome to continue venting here, we have this space to share with others that know how we're feeling.
Fx you get some tests soon x

@ValidUser that's so exciting! Lots of positive thoughts for you and you catch ovulation on Friday 🤞🏽🤞🏽

@XjustagirlX I've not experienced myself but didn't want to read and run. Sorry you're in such pain! I hope you feel better. If it feels quite bad could you ring 111? They may be able to advise what could be wrong?

I'm so tired already. May have an early one tonight. I hope you ladies have a lovely evening xx

orangeloo · 29/05/2019 18:22

Thanks @LokiCat and @purplefig I might ask for test on egg reserve as I've seen it can be a symptom of early menopause god hope and tbh I doubt this is the case or another scan. I may do some more research on spotting.

@ValidUser good luck for your trigger

@Tashdreams you poor thing that must be so frustrating, glad you have got call with a gp, don't let them hang up the phone until you feel satisfied they are helping you.

@XjustagirlX could it be ovulation pain?

Marleym28 · 29/05/2019 18:29

@XjustagirlX just bouncing it around but have you considered thrush?
This month I was DTD a lot more along with gumming more than usual and then had it. There were so many similarities to the TWW/af

I don't want to make you stress as potentially might not be but thought I'd mention.

On a separate note. I've really been good at not symptom spotting but my right boob in the last 2 hrs is killing. Real shabby pains.
I'm putting it down to the need of a new bra (as that's happened in the past) but really can't help getting carried away with my thoughts now

I'm CD7

Lola871 · 29/05/2019 18:33

@xjustagirlx have you come off a form of contraception? I think that can result in all sorts of things going on!

ELW85 · 29/05/2019 18:51

@Purplefig - welcome back!! Good to ‘see’ you :) how was the festival?
I’m temping now although my range is a bit different to last month. One to keep an eye on, I guess!
Got everything crossed for you this month - living all my hopefulness through you as I’m out, haha!

@ValidUser - awesome news. Good luck for the shot tomorrow!!

@LarryDavid - welcome!!

@LokiCat - I think we’re all going through emotional peaks and troughs but there’s strength in numbers, so thanks for listening!

@XjustagirlX - sorry you’re not feeling so great. As the other ladies have said, if you’re worried, I’d go to the docs or dial 111. It’s not good to be stressed out, so best to tackle it?

@Tashdreams - so sorry you’re still waiting, and it’s good that you’ve got a call. I hope they give you some answers.

Sorry to anyone/anything I’ve missed; I’ve been on an all day mental health course so feeling a bit drained! I’m a psychology nerd though, so it was awesome :)

LikeTheFruit · 29/05/2019 21:00

Wow this thread moves so fast I can't keep up!!

Well that's me out I think, got pre-AF spotting and period poo (sorry TMI!!) has started. Looking on the bright side it means now looking for a spring/summer baby. Also have annual leave next month and no holiday booked so defo going to go all inclusive now!

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 21:04

Thanks for the eggy thoughts, everyone! I'm totally peeing on a FRER for the false positive in the next few days after the trigger. 😂

@LikeTheFruit no such thing as TMI here!

OP posts:
Lola871 · 29/05/2019 21:46

Ugh I'm having an annoying evening, keep feeling like AF has started, so convincingly that I run to the loo to clean up, and nothing there!

Bettythecat · 30/05/2019 05:57

Girls... we were all hoping for some BFPs and honestly I can't believe it but I've got one!! Took my temp this morning at Bloody 5:30 am at 12DPO and it was still super high- it normally drops for me the day before my period and my LP is normally 12 days max so I thought I would have to test. My heart was absolutely thumping but made myself not look for the three minutes and there it was!!

This is cycle 9 for us after a missed miscarriage diagnosed In February. The only thing that is different this month if that I have had two sessions of accupuncture and have started taking a high dose of Vitamin C, magnesium and B6 to try and boost my progesterone. I've not had symptoms like last time but on Sunday I did get pain in my left ovary and was crazy emotional and tired Sunday/Monday (not sure if that's a symptom or not?!). Weirdly my boobs have started feeling a bit sore today. The other weird thing is that I did actually feel a bit like I was pregnant despite having zero symptoms. Maybe wishful thinking but maybe it was my body talking to me??

Anyway, I'm so hopeful that this one will stick. I'll be telling my mum and best friends today so that if things go wrong they are right there with me.

Thank you for all your support as ever you wonderful lot.

@Bettythecat fab news, congratulations 😊

ELW85 · 30/05/2019 06:35

@Bettythecat - congratulations!! That’s wonderful news :) so, so happy for you!

Would you mind sharing your vitamin B6/C/Magnesium dosage? It’s something I’ve been considering recently!

LokiCat · 30/05/2019 06:57

@Bettythecat huge congratulations!! So pleased for you. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy xx

Hopefully this will be a start of some more lovely BFPs! ❤️

orangeloo · 30/05/2019 07:21

@Bettythecat yessssss!! huge congratulations! So lovely to see!! Thank you for sharing your symptoms and what you did differently too! As @ELW85 mentioned could you share your dosage pls?

Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months xx

1990shopefulftm · 30/05/2019 07:39

@bettythecat congratulations :)

Bettythecat · 30/05/2019 07:45

@orangeloo @ELW85 I've added photos of the supplements I bought off amazon. Have been taking 2000mg of the vitamin c per day and then 3 tablets of the B6/magnesium which is what the bottle recommends. I also take my usual pregnacare conception. I started taking those extra ones because my LP has always been relatively short and my last full cycle after my mc my temp dropped after only 8 days. I'm actually now unsure whether to continue with the supplements- I suspect my local GP won't know but I know you can't generally take things when pregnant but having said that if I did actually have a progesterone issue I don't really want to stop!! Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for your congratulations ladies, I know it's often hard to see BFPs and can make the waiting seem longer so I'm sorry if it's made anyone feel that way. Xxx
