@Fivebyfive2 thank you! and I feel u for everyone having a crappy time. I had a few tears this morn as had some brown discharge as usual so pretty sure I'm out this month. I had a few drinks over the weekend too and got guilt about that.

Someone on here said they ordered fertility crystals and I did the same today, thought it was a pretty inexpensive thing to try. DP will officially think I've lost the plot however.

I just try and keep telling myself now I will have a baby I just don't get to choose when. Good luck and babydust to all xx

Hi All. Long time lurker on this thread and wondering if it ok to join.

My stats are below:

TTC: #1
Age: 27
Cycle: 3/ 5 (3 properly trying but 5 without protection)
DPO 1

I had my implant out last October but waited a little while to start to allow cycles to even out. I think it's got to the point where I'd like to able to talk to people going through similar things and help keep my sane in the tww (serial early tester and symptom spotter here, I've had to get my dp to hide the tests as I hate the disappointment I feel when I get a BFN).

@orangeloo it was me with the crystals!! Worth a shot! I found a fertility visualisation on YouTube and put the stones on my ovaries and laid on the bed and did the visualisation 😂😂. Sounds totally deranged but I guess if it does nothing but relax you it's worth it!

@Fivebyfive2 I'm having some red wine tonight and a film. My DH cooked me his signature roast chicken, we've both had a cry😳 and now it's time for some chill time!

@FlapJackered I think I may do! We've decided when AF comes we're going to throw everything at it, we have until August as it will have been (time wise) a year then, so I'm not going to the GP until then. Should give me two cycles to try! X

@Lozzlepop definitely! It's stressful for both in a couple and I guess men have it just as bad - although it's 'easier' to see what the issue might be with them, they only have one job I guess x

Morning everyone! Had one of those amazing and cruel pregnancy dreams last night beautiful pink lines on a FRER ... only to wake up. I definitely have a Preggo dream each tww - maybe more than one. If anyone has tips to avoid dreaming about this they will be greatly received haha.

I had a dream that I was breast feeding and squirting my boob like a water gun last night. I'm never sure how to take these dreams! I don't think there's anything you can do to actually control dreams though, is there? It's just your subconscious mind writing through stuff.

@PaintingOwls hahaha that is very funny lol. No probably not, naughty brains adding to our own disappointment.

On another note someone I read said they had 'fizzy' boobs the month they got a bfp. I'm not really sure what that means but I did have one 'fizzy' nipple yesterday lol so fingers crossed.

@orangeloo I have had pregnancy dreams for months and months, even though we have just started TTC this month, I don’t think you can help it though, do you go to bed thinking about pregnancy/babies?

Does anyone have any views on taking painkillers whilst TTC? I have damaged my back somehow and it’s so incredibly painful, so I have been taking paracetamol as well as a heat patch but it’s not really taking the edge off it, I’m trying to resist ibruopfen however as I read it’s not great to take, however in the last 48 hours my nipples have start to hurt when I’m sleeping (wake up with pain) which is normally a sign my period is about to start (just not normally 8/9 days early) so I’m not sure to take something stronger or not!

@PippaPug no I definitely try to avoid thinking about babies in general and especially at night haha.

I'm not telling you to take them but if it were me and I was in real pain I would. Baby is not connected to your blood supply until week 5-6 anyway. Hope you feel better soon.

@Hopingforhappiness1 welcome to the group, sorry to hear about you MC, quite a few of us have experienced losses and I'm happy to hear that you are ready to try again, I am also waiting on AF showing up so we can try again 🤞🏻

@PippaPug I was at work so it was a pretty uneventful day BUT....its a week tomorrow until we go on holiday! I can't wait! I would agree with @orangeloo or maybe try a deep heat rub or something before reaching for the painkillers?

So I'm drinking piles of milk. Apparently there's some evidence it'll speed up my follicle maturation rates. Next scan tomorrow.

Having a lovely week off work. Lots of sex and getting errands (finally) completed!

@PippaPug ibruprofen is not good for implantation so I would hold off on that until af arrives if you possibly can. Not sure about other painkillers although I think paracetamol is fine.

Woken up feeling sooo much better and more positive today. Slept well which always helps. The red wine probably helped too. My temps have stayed up today too which I am taking as a good sign that my supplements might have boosted my progesterone like I was hoping they had 😊. Will expect a drop tomorrow or the day after ahead of at arriving though.

@orangeloo @PaintingOwls I am so glad I am not the only one. Only in my dream AF so heavy I decided to put on a pull up nappy. I have been sleeping so bad recently and I think it is taking it toll on me today and I don't feel great for it!! I would love to skip off work but I am here till 6 and then I go straight to scouts!! I just want to go home to bed!!

Somw of us give us so much when TTC, and then others get pregnant without even trying. It hardly seems fair does it??

So this is my first month of TTC and doing OPKs. The test line was slowly getting darker and darker each day but it was never a positive test. But the past couple of days the test line has disappeared. TTC is so confusing.

Also the water gun boob sounds amazing!!!

So DH has gone back to work today first day back after holiday/MC/BH. We are so used to being on the same shifts but he's taken promotion so no longer get the same days off.
Tough day today I think

@orangeloo - ah strange! I find I either get pregnancy dreams or wedding related dreams - they are worse if I have gone to bed and randomly thought about either of them or seen something related online.

@validUser - thanks for the link, I skimmed it as I was dishing up lunch but I got the gist of it - if it gets any worse I will take something I think, I have a deep heat patch on atm, not sure if it’s helping or not! I have booked a physio apt next week and I can’t wait, I’m struggling to bend and in my job it makes it quite difficult!

@MrsH497 I hope you are ok, my DP went back to work a week before I did, I found trying to keep myself busy helped!
