All aboard...kickstarting the June bus as trying to remain positive now AF has just arrived.

This is me...

TTC: 3
Age: 39
Cycle: 2
CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 1st June

Going for number 3, but first with DP. Bit worried about my age and just coming off the pill but cycles seem pretty normal. Doing OPKs and night start temping.

Good luck everyone. Look forward to joining you on this journey. Next!

Thanks! I mentioned to my doctor I was doing it and he said it's good to keep active.
Maybe I'll just keep at the week I'm on for a bit!

BeyondOverTheMoon · 09/06/2019 16:43

She’s in agony today :( worst period pain ever but only the slightest bit of blood. So my heath anxiety is now on overboard mode

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 16:52

First thing I do on my return from my weekend away is POAS and get a BFN 😩 this cycle has been by far the most confusing. I'm either 11 or 13DPO, AF due mid week ish and fertility friend actually discarded this mornings temp as it shot back up again after a two day dip 🤷🏼‍♀️

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 17:37

@BeyondOverTheMoon health anxiety is awful :( I hope the pain settles down for her!

@Louise190 could it be triphasic? Or some sort or late implantation dip?!

ilovedonuts · 09/06/2019 17:42

TTC (trying to conceive): 3
Age: 36
Cycle: first one
CD (cycle day): 19
AF/BFP (big fat positive) due: 20th June

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 18:30

@Treaclepie19 what is triphasic? OV was quite confusing so I don't know for certain when or if it happened!

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 19:34

@Louise190
"A triphasic chart is a basal body temperature (BBT) chart with three distinct temperature rises. (More on this below.) This pattern is thought to be a possible sign of pregnancy, and because of this, these kinds of charts are deeply coveted across the fertility charting community"

So 3 phases of temps :)

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 20:11

Ohh more google for me to read! Mine has been up and down a few times. I'm clueless, BBT and OPKs were supposed to make it clearer!

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 20:40

That looks so promising to me. Could be triphasic or an implantation dip?

I so want to do my bbt. Dh wants us to try and be easy breezy a bit though this time (he's obviously never met me)

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 20:42

I did a quick Google... could that be an implantation dip? Depends on your normal luteal phase I guess?

I love charts 😂😍

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 20:55

I love that you're nerding our over it 😂 I love a chart too! This is my first cycle testing and temping so I don't really know what my normal is. My normal cycle is 27 days but I'm not sure what that really tells us! My DP wanted us to stay relaxed about it as well but he lets me carry on ❤️ temping has thrown some more confusion in to the loop for me this cycle but I figure over several cycles I should learn my "normal". If, of course, I don't get my BFP by then! In short, I say crack on!!

MeganMama28 · 09/06/2019 21:00

@lonelyonee now worries I hope you're feeling a bit better. I use flo as well as ovia seen as ovia doesn't highlight the day after ovulation as being in the fertile window which bugs me! However I do like the chart and fertility score which is helpful.

I feel like I'm one of a few who are not temping? Is it a big effort to do? May invest next cycle if we're not lucky this month

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 21:20

@Louise190 I'm a very obsessive person so it's my kinda thing 😂
I may have stumbled across the threads about heart rate increasing too... I wear a Fitbit so that's something I can keep an eye on 😉😁
Fingers completely crossed for you!

MeganMama28 not a fuss at all! Just buy a bbt thermometer (2 decimal places) and do it every morning, preferably the same time and before you've moved from bed. Track it and voila, should show ovulation.

Chasni · 09/06/2019 21:22

Hey all, been watching these threads for a while, so thought it was time to get posting, mainly for a bit of moral support and just to share my journey Smile

TTC: 1st baby
Age: 32
Cycle: 13
CD (cycle day): 25
AF/BFP (big fat positive): AF due 15th June (may have done a silly test today and now confused with a potential positive).

So feeling a bit confused, had very sore boobs last couple of days, got up through the night to pee last 3 nights, so since I had one clearblue standard +/- test I thought I would try it, and I can see a faint line. If it is actually a positive, will be delighted after an early miscarriage last year, but trying not to get hopes up. Will buy another couple of tests nearer the end of the week to resist testing again until nearer AF. Fingers crossed! X x

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 21:30

@Treaclepie19 I am too, I love information and knowledge! That's why I started temping and testing! Thank you lovely, fingers crossed for you too!

@MeganMama28 I don't think it's a big effort and I like tracking it. The only thing is you need to take it at the same time every day so my alarm goes off at 6 every day. If I'm lucky I can fall back asleep at the weekend but there have been occasions where that's me awake for the day!

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 21:46

@Chasni welcome :) Post a picture! A faint line is still a line.

@Louise190 thanks :)

Chasni · 09/06/2019 22:00

@Treaclepie19 just spent the last 10mins there trying to locate a photo attachment icon, and I’ve realised there isn't one! Confused Because I just created the account tonight I think they delay u posting a pic? Hmm on the plus side by the time I’m able to post I’m sure I’ll have around 25 test pics to post and will 100% know by then either way I guess! Ha-ha

ELW85 · 09/06/2019 22:08

@Louise190 - there’s a great book called ‘Taking Charge of Your Fertility’ and it really helped me out when I had a mid-luteal phase dip.
Basically, about a week after Ov, you get a second surge of Estrogen which causes your temp to dip.
Hopefully that helps?

tinatsarina · 09/06/2019 22:27

So ovia says 7 days until I can test but I poas this morning and nothing. Bfn. I've got tender boobs, some mild cramping and backache and I've been to the toilet abit more (no. 2) no idea if anything suggest I will get a bfp or not.

Louise190 · 09/06/2019 22:38

@ELW85 oh thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely look that one up. I had read about the Estrogen but I'm confused because I have two dips in my luteal phase!

ELW85 · 09/06/2019 22:56

@Louise190 - sorry, no idea how I missed that in your chart!!
I can’t account for your second dip, but I’ll keep everything crossed for you that it’s good news :)

Can’t recommend that book enough though; it’s got fantastic example of charts in and basically answers all queries on temps, and how to measure other signs. Definitely good for someone like me who needs to learn everything and over-analyses, haha!

MeganMama28 · 10/06/2019 05:58

@Treaclepie19 and @Louise190 fx 🤞 I won't need one for next month but if this isn't my lucky month I definitely think I'll start temping then! Not that I'd be jumping for joy waking up at 5:45 over the weekend but I guess it's a short term sacrifice for a long term gain!

mrssunshinexxx · 10/06/2019 11:58

All my apps say different dates for fertile days so I made we dtd sat and sun and just going to aim for Every other day for like the next 10/14 days and hope for the best

limesoda · 10/06/2019 12:38

I’m not off the buss because of AF or anything but I was at the diabetic clinic this morning and told on no uncertain terms to just calm down about it all. They even have let me relax my blood sugar targets because I’m just over treating everything and putting myself on the most stressful rollercoaster ever. It’s like the cycle stress is doubled.

Lovely doc told me to have sex 2-3 times a week, maybe make a note of periods, but to step away from everything else for a while and I really have to because this is not good for my mental health. I’m deleting all the apps and I’ll be trying my very best to stay away from here (time will tell how successful I am 😂)

Best of luck to you all, and I mean that. Maybe see you all a bit further down the line as we try and navigate pregnancy (hopefully) xxx

mrssunshinexxx · 10/06/2019 13:01

Good luck @limesoda x
