June Bus

All aboard...kickstarting the June bus as trying to remain positive now AF has just arrived.

CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 1st June

Going for number 3, but first with DP. Bit worried about my age and just coming off the pill but cycles seem pretty normal. Doing OPKs and night start temping.

Hey everyone, I am very sorry to hear about those who have left for the July bus but friendly hello's to all the newcomers too!

I've been a bit quiet on here lately but I've noticed some things in the last few days and wanted to know what you guys think!

On Friday (6DPO) I had dull aching and bad cramps that lasted all day. I usually only get this sort of pain on the same day as AF so was convinced that was game over and AF would arrive by the weekend.. but she didn't!? I've been a hormonal mess ever since but the pain has now completely gone. Today (9DPO) I have had the lightest and faintest ever brown spotting, which is extremely unusual for me as I usually have very heavy periods which come on very quickly without any spotting.

I've been tracking my temp and it has been steadily high since ovulation, doesnt it usually dip before AF?

Anyway, all of this has resulted in me thinking about implantation and getting my hopes up! AF is due on Fri/Sat. Shall I give it a couple of days and then test with FRER or should I wait until the weekend when supposed AF is due?

All of this stuff makes you crazy and I truly admire all of you who have been on this journey for a while because it really tugs at your heartstrings.. and this is only our first bloody try!

Sorry for long post! How is everybody else in the TWW getting on? How many DPO are you and have you noticed anything different? I'm sure I'm not alone in this madness!

@fancyfuchsia if you're 9dpo you should be able to test in a couple of days but the longer you can leave it the better!

I'm really crampy today. Enough that if I didn't know better I'd think AF was coming.
So I'm guessing its ovulation pains as I'm CD10 of 23. Annoyingly we did Saturday but its not looking likely we will get to tonight. Gah!

@treaclepie19 I've ordered a couple's of FRER from Amazon and they should arrive sometime wed-fri so I can't be tempted before then!

It must be pretty useful to have ovulation pains, I never notice mine but have been testing for it for a few months before now to get used to my cycle. Do you do LH tests? I've read the day after ov is still good chances so not all is lost! x

@fancyfuchsia I'm relatively new to this TTC business myself so no expert but I would recommend waiting until AF is due then testing once you're late. Easier said than done of course! But will save you £££ on pregnancy tests too, and hopefully avoid the risk of a chemical pregnancy. And if you are pregnant you'll find out soon enough, a few days won't hurt.

@skyla01 You sound very sensible! I've been adamant I wouldn't test until after AF due.. until today! It's definitely easier to wait when you don't think it's worked but now I've spotted some changes I've gone soft!

@fancyfuchsia it seems the more pregnancies I have, the more my body seems to tell me when to try 😂
Nope, trying a month of no tests or tracking. Next month im sure I'll be on the bbt thermometer!

Good luck everyone, I bought a CB early detection today (cant be trusted), used it when I got home from work, and the single pregnant line came up quite clear, not dark blue, but super noticeable. Delighted but also terrified, because not due period until the weekend! Have kept the CB digital to use at the end of the week, hoping to god this one sticks! Hang in there ladies :) x x

So I'm just wondering if anyone has has the same or knows what it could be..

I had a withdrawal bleed from coming off the pill from 30th May to 3rd April.

On the 7th & 8th of April I felt like I had period pain/ovary pain which then stopped and I've had no pain for the last 2 days and today I've the slightest bit of spotting.

Anyone know what this could be??x

Thank you @fancyfuchsia xx So @Ohana6419 this is where im confused, Clue has me at 8dpo (I assume this is wrong) and Flo has me at 12dpo. My cycles have ranged from 28 days up to 36 days over the last year, although been 29 days last few months. First day of last period was 16th May, not due AF until sat/sun coming, so will test again nearer then! But its exciting, going in the right direction for a change. X x

@MeganMama28 it's confusing I have no idea, I've attempted to dtd every other day but like I said good old life for in the way didn't it!
I've not personally tried temping as of yet... may give it a go next month if I end up hopping on the July bus though.
Well whichever window was the correct one I'm now in my tww!
Anyone else have AF/BFP due 21st? Determined to not test until at least 23rd/24tg if AF doesn't come! Wish me luck! x

Your cycle sounds the same as mine, my last period started 16th May and I am due AF between Friday and Sunday (cycle varies between 29-31 days) I'm fairly certain I'm 10 DPO today

Fingers crossed @SLT90 you get your bfp, sorry if I’ve missed it but have you succumbed to testing? Yeah if you’re 10dpo and I'm showing 12 on one and 8 on another I might be the same as you, 10dpo. It’s all so stressful lol thanks @Treaclepie19 x x x

@SLT90 definitely, fingers and toes crossed for us both. Im gonna try leave the expensive test to the weekend haha. Got lots on in work and after work from tomorrow anyway so hoping I’ll be too occupied to think about it too much lol x x x

I'm similar too @SLT90, last period was 15th and due between Fri and Sun. Although my cycles are usually much shorter than that, I would normally have expected to have AF now but had a late ovulation this month (9DPO today) which I think postponed AF on my tracking apps. Looks like it'll be a big testing weekend for this thread!

@fancyfuchsia interesting, any ideas what caused a change this month? Does sound like it will be a busy weekend for POAS 😂

@SLT90 Well my AF on the 15th was a whole week early (possibly stress related) and I have no idea if this is how it works but it's almost as though my period moved forward by a week but my ovulation date stayed on the old time line exactly where it was supposed to be. So I suppose with AF due this weekend I'm getting back to my old cycle pattern? Who knows! But I was able to track my ovulation for sure so that's the most important thing.

Looks like AF is here, 5 days late on CD 34! Kind of a relief it's here, means my cycle it's somewhat normal after being on the pill for over 5 years.
