All aboard...kickstarting the June bus as trying to remain positive now AF has just arrived.

This is me...

TTC: 3
Age: 39
Cycle: 2
CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 1st June

Going for number 3, but first with DP. Bit worried about my age and just coming off the pill but cycles seem pretty normal. Doing OPKs and night start temping.

Good luck everyone. Look forward to joining you on this journey. Next!

@BeyondOverTheMoon Thank you Xx

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 20:08

No problem :)

Here’s DPs FRER, don’t think I can see anything on it. Still no sign of AF though

So excited and scared! Think I may finally have my BFP.. after 13 month of TTC. We saw the doctor last month and I have been for blood tests which came back with concerns (apt to see Doctor next week at his request). Could this be!! Oh please please stay BFP and don't be a chemical.

Only done cheapy amazon test. Will buy a better quality one tomorrow.

Age: 29
Cycle: 13
Ttc: no2 after 5year gap.

ELW85 · 08/06/2019 22:29

Evening all - mind if I join?

TTC (trying to conceive): 1
Age: 34
Cycle: - 3
CD (cycle day): 14
AF/BFP (big fat positive): 20th June.

According to OPKs and apps etc today was OV so the horrendous TWW begins...

limesoda · 09/06/2019 01:24

@Sleepyhead11 I wrote about it all, then shared a bit and it makes me feel way less alone. I don’t know.

I’ve just finished ‘social creature’ by Tara Isabella burton and could NOT put it down.

9dpo here. Want Wednesday to come. I’m in two minds this month. I obviously WANT to be pregnant, and it would be a lovely month to be pregnant, what with the no pressure sex and the laid back vibes and all, but the sensible part of my brain knows that this is not how Mother Nature works. I have had CRAZY symptoms this month, but I know they are probably entirely in my head so I may just wait and see. Have a Tesco test in the house that I might use on Monday before my diabetic clinic appointment just in case because it will be a million times easier to get it all booked in in person but I’m not sure I can be arsed with the disappointment and second guessing my period.

Mimi91 · 09/06/2019 07:44

Any chart experts in the house? CD 30, according to Ovia AF due today and a temp increase of 0.1. This is my first cycle charting, so nothing to compare it against unfortunately...

Too scared to test! Had a BFN at 11dpo and just been so crampy all night. Just wondered if my chart looked positive to anyone? Thought it would take a nose dive the day before/day of AF.

(Ps. I've had NC, I was on here as 'paddypaws' previously).

@Mimi91 - temps don’t always drop before AF; they usually drop when it arrives (switch in hormones) as progesterone is the hormone that increases temperature.
You’d expect to see 18 days (past ovulation) of higher temps to indicate pregnancy.
Hope that helps?

mussie · 09/06/2019 08:29

@Mimi91 I definitely think Ovia hasn't got your ovulation right. To me it looks like you ovulated on 31st May, in which case you'd only be 9dpo just now. I'd recommend maybe switching apps! All the apps I use at the moment (too many - Natural Cycles, Glow, FF, and countdown to pregnancy) all readjust ovulation once they see the temp spike, doesn't seem like Ovia has done that for you!

I would suggest putting all your temps for this cycle into FF. It'll take you 15 mins or so to do, but I think it will be able to give you more accurate info, and can tell you when to test.

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 08:46

@ELW85 welcome :)

Cd8 here and going a bit cuckoo. I'm starting to get obsessed already 😂
Considering taking my temp... but then remembered our 3yo sleeps in our bed and I am NOT risking waking him up!

Ive been having 23 day cycles so it's not even that long to wait.

Yorkshiredolls · 09/06/2019 08:55

Hi everyone! @stilltobeseen how are things today? any news? your post stood out to me as i’m finding myself in the same position as you. cd 35. irregular cycles so af due anything from 3 days ago til usually get spotting which can be quite heavy upto a week before af but all
i’ve had is 1 or 2 pale brown spots. tested frer yesterday and got the palest hint of a wtf?evap? DH can’t see it and thinks i’m
bonkers. i’m very confused and i haven’t got any tests left unless i can find some frers when i go out later. local
boots sold out cos they’re on offer atm so will have to go further afield.

Yorkshiredolls · 09/06/2019 08:55

I mean af is due anything from 3 days ago til this wednesday

ELW85 · 09/06/2019 09:02

@Treaclepie19 - thank you!
I have 25 day cycles but still get impatient too :)
My temp didn’t go up massively today so I’m freaking out and trying to stay balanced. Life was way less stressful when I didn’t track this, haha!

Stilltobeseen · 09/06/2019 09:14

@yorkshiredolls hey, I decided not to test today and just wait until next week and see if AF comes or not. This TWW is making me miserable and the constant negatives is so de-motivating so I need to take a step back. I started spotting quite a bit yesterday so I'm pretty sure I am out. I've since been doing some research and apparently vitaminb complex helps with spotting so going start that going forward. I've started making plans to stay busy during next months tww, I'm also putting a ban on Google and probably won't join the July bus either so that I dont think about it as much as I have this time, even though everyones support has been amazing. Also going to make a doctor's appointment and try and find out if my spotting could be something stopping pregnancy. I've heard conflicting things so will just have to wait and see.
Any pics your test??

Yorkshiredolls · 09/06/2019 09:30

@stilltobeseen that’s fair enough. i’m trying to with with not testing for a few days cos i’m going round the bend. i did take a pic of my test but you couldn’t really see it. about spotting being a bad sign though; not necessarily. i have always had pre-af spotting which i thought was a problem but 3 yrs ago i conceived DD first month of TTc. and a spotted that month too, a lot. I had quite a few small bleeds through the pregnancy x

Stilltobeseen · 09/06/2019 09:33

@yorkshiredolls if you don't mind me asking, how many days pre af do you normally spot? Mine ranges from 4-6 days. That is lovely to hear though, it's been something I've worried about for a while so hopefully my chances are still good!
It just feels so much like af is coming though which is off putting, did you feel the same way?
Did the line on your test have any colour? Mine was more greyish so I'm assuming it was an evap or indent.

Yorkshiredolls · 09/06/2019 09:50

@stilltobeseen my line is pink but so so so faint and only seems to go about half way across. it’s in the place it should be. spotting usually starts about a week before af and comes and goes. it would normally have started 5 days ago or so. i don’t really get any other af symptoms apart from hating DH and how he has the nerve to even breathe Grin i don’t feel like that right now Grin so i don’t really know if af is coming or what’s going on. i was clueless the month I caught with Dd, had no preg symptoms. was getting my
spotting. i only took a test that month because i was due af in a couple
of days and i wanted to rule it out so i could get drunk at a birthday party, i never thought it would be positive Grin

Stilltobeseen · 09/06/2019 10:07

@yorkshiredolls if its pink I'd definitely test again! How exciting! I've had every symptom under the sun this month so pretty sure it's a big fat neg for me but onto the next I suppose. I hope it's a bfp for you and it definitely sounds like it is!!

BeyondOverTheMoon · 09/06/2019 10:13

DP came on this morning, we’re off to the July bus. Hope to see as few of you as possible there Smile

Yorkshiredolls · 09/06/2019 10:19

@stilltobeseen i’m too-ing and fro-omg about testing again. Dh says wait til tomorrow or tuesday, i’d have to buy a test today to do tomorrow though and if i have them in the house i can’t be trusted not to pee on them lol

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 10:21

@ELW85 it's so hard isn't it! All consuming.
I'm doing couch to 5k and wondering if I should be stopping 🙈
I've just been for a run this morning.

So sorry to hear that @BeyondOverTheMoon
Good luck for next month!

Stilltobeseen · 09/06/2019 10:26

@yorkshiredolls oooo I definitely see a wee line there! Your hubby might be right though and even wait till tomorrow to test. If I had a line like that I'd be peeing on all the sticks lol.

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 10:59

@Yorkshiredolls I see a line!

ELW85 · 09/06/2019 13:01

@Treaclepie19 - I train about 3 times a week (CrossFit and circuits) and haven’t toned it down massively, but just enough where I could still hold a conversation.
You’re right; it is all consuming!

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2019 14:36

ELW85 my worry is that I'm only on week two and quite unfit so not sure whether to just carry on or stop... or just repeat my current week a few times.

ELW85 · 09/06/2019 15:07

@Treaclepie19 - ah I see! I’d maybe not start a new exercise regime, to be fair, but I’m not an expert. Maybe one for the docs to answer? Good luck with it :)
