All aboard...kickstarting the June bus as trying to remain positive now AF has just arrived.

This is me...

TTC: 3
Age: 39
Cycle: 2
CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 1st June

Going for number 3, but first with DP. Bit worried about my age and just coming off the pill but cycles seem pretty normal. Doing OPKs and night start temping.

Good luck everyone. Look forward to joining you on this journey. Next!

Welcome @Wanderlusting99 Thanks what a journey you've been on! Do you get periods with your coil then? I had absolutely nothing! Apart from some god awful mood swings towards the end!!! 🙈 good luck on your journey!

Wanderlusting99 · 07/06/2019 22:38

Hi @Louise190 - I'm not exactly a role model of how to do pregnancy! I do get periods, they were very heavy for the first year, then they've become lighter over time - mine is the non-hormonal one though. It's due to 'run out' in 3 weeks though (no idea how copper runs out) but I'm hoping because it's non hormonal I'll not have a period of adjustment like I did when I came off the implant for my first pregnancy.

This is today’s...

Cycle #2
Cycle day 4 , ordered myself some OPKs for this month, however Flo is saying fertile week as 15th to the 20th and Ovia is stating fertile week as 17th to 27th 🙃 and OD as the 23rd in June 🙄 anyone else's apps just totally out of sync?

mommato3 · 08/06/2019 09:26

As I suspected I'm out. Af has arrived 😢

Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 09:59

So yesterday I was getting pretty decent cramping, think I started to spot very. Very late on. Gas and burping so much and was in bed by 9pm because I felt so sick with trapped wind and cramping (both wind and the other kind).
Woke up this morning decided to take a test and I swear theres something there. My husband says there is too but here's the catch, to me it looks like an evap line because its colourless even though it came up within the 3 minutes. I'm 11dpo, used fmu on a first response early detector test. You can literally only see it in the light when you squint so I'm not sending in a picture because you wouldn't see it. I'm so unconvinced that I opened another test to see what it looked like before use and it doesn't have a thing on it, no indents or scratches or anything. I spotted again this morning, dark brown. I usually spot before my period but I'm about days later than my usual spotting date. AF due next Wednesday.
I really am not convinced by this at all. I'll test again tomorrow morning because surely this is a massive big joke on me.
Anyone ever had this?

Treaclepie19 · 08/06/2019 10:16

@Stilltobeseen I have the best line eyes ever and even I wasn't convinced there was a line with our second son.
The next day it was a bit clearer and the day after it was obvious. Sounds very promising to me!

Sorry af has come mommato3 :(

@BeyondOverTheMoon I definitely keep seeing something with my brightness up. How frustrating for you. I only ever use FRER's now because I spent way too much time analysing one steps :p

Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 10:42

@treaclepie19 I'm so not convinced, just because the line is colourless I'm sure it's an evap. But how crappy is that, getting an evap within the 3 minutes? So misleading.
Definitely in the mindset that AF is coming.
Sad

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 10:55

I've just ordered some FRER's from amazon as a surprise for DP, if AF doesn't arrive in the meantime. She's now three days late.

Treaclepie19 · 08/06/2019 11:38

@Stilltobeseen mine looked grey too because it was so pale. I'll try and post a pic. You probably won't see it even with brightness on full!

June Bus
Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 11:57

@treaclepie19 I think I see a line there! Mine isn't even as visible as that. I have to tilt it in the light and it looks like a white line.
On research apparently first response are pretty known for their evap lines unfortunately. Thank you for trying to cheer me up though, I really appreciate it.
Only time will tell at this point. Will test again tomorrow and see what happens.

Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 12:02

I managed to get a picture...its soooo an evap line

June Bus
Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 12:05

To be fair I've never seen an evap line before so I'm assuming that's what it is given there is barely a colour to it.

Treaclepie19 · 08/06/2019 12:07

I really don't think it is an evap line lovely by looking at it.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you, are you going to test again tomorrow?

Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 12:19

@Treaclepie19 thank you love, I really hope it's a positive. I'm going to try again tomorrow morning and just keep a level head for now.
I'm getting my af symptoms as well which is throwing me off. Such a horrible cruel joke that the symptoms (if you have any) can be the same as af.

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 12:48

Speaking of symptoms- DP is getting pain in her side, sort of under her ribs. I remember it as ligament pain, but she had never heard of it being a symptom of pregnancy. So if it’s psychosomatic, her body knows things she doesn’t Grin

Treaclepie19 · 08/06/2019 13:09

@BeyondOverTheMoon under rib pain for me was gallstones 🙈
The more likely option was something digestive though, I'm just awkward.

Well done on keeping so level headed @Stilltobeseen
Good luck!

mommato3 · 08/06/2019 13:40

Thank you @Treaclepie19 Me too 😢

Robbo93 · 08/06/2019 14:54

Hi @Wanderlusting99 I'm interested in your journey! I'm TTC#1 but also struggle with high blood pressure xx

Sleepyhead11 · 08/06/2019 15:40

@@Stilltobeseen and @Treaclepie19 - I hope you both get the results you want tomorrow. Sorry I am no good at line eyes.

@mommato3 I'm sorry but glad you can move onto the next cycle now. I am going to leap onto July bus today as well even though no AF because my rheumatoid arthritis always flares just before my period and this morning my knee froze, which I know means I am out. Not sure why it does this at this time of month - something to do with immunology.

@Limesoda how are you getting on? Ah, trashy novels, I could do with a few of those. I am off to July bus and can't believe I have to go through this whole thing again. I know it's only #5 though and some people go through many many more. Gym sounds good. Also long walks. Which trashy novels are you reading? I love the Ben Aaronovitch Rivers of London at the moment, but might save the next one for July 2ww. Do you think writing something about the process would be freeing?

Stilltobeseen · 08/06/2019 15:44

Can I ask if anyone on here spots before af regularly? I do every month like clockwork and worried it may impact my ability to conceive.

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 17:32

Sleepy - OT but I do believe flares could be due to progesterone levels, I know my EDS is at its worst when progesterone is higher (which it is in the second half of your cycle)

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 17:34

(Progesterone levels are also similar in early pregnancy to before your period is due, so if it's that, you're not out yet :) )

BeyondOverTheMoon · 08/06/2019 17:36

lonelyonee · 08/06/2019 18:04

@MeganMama28 sorry for the late response there's so much to catch up on in here! Thanks for the advice, will look into making sure I do have some me time. I tend to get very affected by such things and it meant we didn't dtd for 4 days during my fertile window which I am absolutely furious about but it's done now.
Although saying that I have been inputting data to my Ovia app regularly and today it changed my fertile window which made today my last day which was completely different to before so I'm unsure when I have actually ovulated!
Any ideas on a time scale after the pain around your ovaries ladies? If bfn this month then I shall use my opks next month to be sure but fingers crossed anyways Smile
