Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet

Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

@Katy85 thanks for that! So did you get a negative ov test on the morning of cd 14?

@Mum637k I didn't think to check to be honest! Because I had that sharp pain around my right ovary that evening, I was sure I ovulated that day, plus egg white cm that day and the day before, which went away the next day.

Katy85 · 23/03/2019 07:36

@Pinksunset1 I'm so sorry sweetie, that's a bitch of a cycle to track! Which app are you using? Do you have any indication of potential ovulation points in that cycle?

Mum637k · 23/03/2019 08:39

@Katy85 oh interesting. I haven't felt ovulation in a long time actually but maybe if I paid attention more. I'm considering not tracking this month, I'm too stressed out from it 🙈 not long till AF now, hoping it comes sooner rather than later if it must.

So just tried this on a whim this morning. Was due af yesterday or today. Cautiously optimistic and not gonna tell dp until I’m more sure as I don’t wanna get anyone’s hopes up including mine. Cycle 10

Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet
Katy85 · 23/03/2019 14:38

@SunnyL88 was that taken in the timeframe? If so (or very soon after ) then I'd call that your bfp! Some women really don't get their positives til AF is due or after, it just depends how much hcg it's producing. Test again in the morning, if it's darker then let your other half know x

SunnyL88 · 23/03/2019 14:54

Literally as it appeared... I’m still dubious but picked up a cb digital this morning to test tomorrow. Thank you 😊

Mum637k · 23/03/2019 18:08

@Pop1234 @Katy85 well ladies I think AF is on her way. Just saw some pinkish cm, I don't normally get this but AF has been presenting different symptoms every month lately 😞 . Took a test to be sure and t was negative, I'm sure it's AF now. Better sooner rather than later though

AF has arrived full force so onto cycle 3 now 😆

Katy85 · 25/03/2019 12:07

@Mum637k well that's sucks! But it was my third cycle too before we got lucky. And that's really all it comes down to, luck! There's very little we can actually do to help things, so don't beat yourself up about anything. You'll get your bfp soon, I just know it x

Mum637k · 25/03/2019 13:45

@Katy85 thanks, I feel the same way! Feeling okay with it all at the moment, hopefully next month will be our month 🤞🏻

@Mum637k knew you would be fine once AF showed!! I think the days up to it and getting BFN are the worst. 3rd time lucky
I would say for you Smile

@Katy85 how are you doing? Do you feel any different yet?

Mum637k · 25/03/2019 13:51

@Pop1234 yeah, you're right! It's those few days close to AF that are the hardest 😆 keep me updated ladies, I'd love to hear about your journeys 💗 @Katy85

Katy85 · 25/03/2019 14:09

@Pop1234 I'm doing ok, I just get randomly really tired, reflux in the evenings, urgh the bloating is doing my head in, still no real nausea or sore boobs, so very very similar to my first pregnancy (So maybe another boy!?).
How are you feeling?
@Mum637k we will, have a glass of wine or gin for me please!

Pop1234 · 25/03/2019 14:37

@Katy85 glad you are doing ok. I'm feeling ok very tired and my boobs are sore but that's it. I'm feeling so nervous though because of my 3 miscarriages. Have you stopped testing now?

@Mum637k it will all be fine. We did use pre-sead this month. Have you tried it?

Mum637k · 25/03/2019 18:30

@Katy85 I will 😂 by the way, do you ladies drink coffee? Did you drink it while ttc? @Pop1234

OP posts:
Mum637k · 25/03/2019 18:31

@Pop1234 no I have not tried it, do you think that helped?

OP posts:
Katy85 · 25/03/2019 18:44

@Pop1234 yeah I stopped once AF was officially a couple of days late, and I've had no spotting or anything, no cramps. I do still get that funny sensation in my lower abdomen, little bean growing and uterus stretching I presume.
@Mum637k i didn't cut out caffeine, but then I don't really drink much anyway, I'm still having one coffee in the morning and then fruit or decaff tea/coffee for the rest of the day. I also switched to low alcohol wine and g&t at cycle two, just one proper drink a week maybe.

Mum637k · 25/03/2019 19:33

@Pop1234 did your cycles change at all after any of your mc's? My period has been different each time so far. Last month I was cramping with no bleeding for a few days and when the bleeding started it was very light. This month no cramping and bleeding started pretty quickly and it's very heavy. Soaked through a regular pad last night 😕 also my cycle was 32 days last month, this month back to 28.

Pop1234 · 25/03/2019 20:12

@Mum637k I'm not a massive drinker anyway (I'll have one or two if we got our for food etc) and I don't drink tea or coffee because I don't like it. But I do drink coke so that's caffeine, I didn't stop when TTC but I have stopped since BFP.

Not sure on the Pre-seed. We've never used it before but just thought we'd give it a try this cycle so could just be coincidence.

My first two miscarriages my first cycle came exactly 27 days after I had ERPC and I only had one cycle when I caught again with both. But then my third miscarriage I had a natural miscarriage and it took 33 days for my first cycle. Then it went back to 27/28 days. I've probably only had 4/5 cycles altogether though since May last year as I've always got pregnant after one cycle (this time it was two) so it's really hard to tell!!

Pinksunset1 · 27/03/2019 07:56

@katy85 I use period diary period and fertility tracker. It has helped me keep track of my over the place cycle and I was sure I got a positive ovulation when I done test round last time it said but i do find it had to track with such long cycles. At minute I have constant pelvic pain so it’s hard to track. So happy for you getting your positive x

@mum637k don’t be so hard on yourself it is frustrating trying to get our positive and then AF has other ideas I got upset this cycle waiting 68 days and getting big fat negative it’s hard TTC. We will all get there soon I’m going onto cycle 4 good luck for your cycle 3 x

@pop1234 sorry to hear about your miscarriage wishing you a healthy pregnancy x

Mum637k · 27/03/2019 08:04

@Pinksunset1 that's true, it is such a difficult time ttc. Good luck on your 4th cycle, I hope it's the one for you!😊

How's everyone doing?

Katy85 · 03/04/2019 08:41

@Pop1234 i'm doing ok thanks, struggled a bit on Monday with the waves of nausea in work (thank god for ritz crackers and ginger tea), I keep waking super early too which is annoying, first midwife appointment next Tuesday afternoon!
How are you doing? X

Pop1234 · 03/04/2019 08:47

@Katy85 all good signs though. I'm ok thank you. Haven't booked any midwife appointment yet until after my first scan. To scared to jinx it!! Only a week to go until my scan though x
