Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

Hi ladies had my bloods taken on Monday not been feeling well so been off her for couple of days. Still no AF but I’m im very sore in pelvis. How’s everyone getting on?x

Pop1234 · 20/03/2019 11:42

@Mum637k glad you're doing ok. Excited to see what the weekend brings for you.

I'm doing ok thank you. Having some cramping but spoke to EPU today and said it's normal. I have an early scan booked through EPU too because of my previous history of miscarriages. Nervous/excited. The next 3 weeks are going to drag!!

Mum637k · 20/03/2019 14:04

@Pinksunset1 I hope you get good news! When do you get the blood test results?

@Pop1234 @Katy85 I took a frer this afternoon after holding uring for no longer than 15 minutes 😑 couldn't help myself and BFN. Not even an evap line. I am losing hope here because even though AF isn't due until Monday I am already around 12 dpo today I think. Notfeeling very hopeful 😞 I'm hoping you ladies can give me tips on how to feel better and not so down going forward? I don't want this process to be an absolute nightmare, I would love for it to be a happy thing but instead I am just worry about when and IF it's ever going to happen😞

@Mum637k I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry. I felt down last month when I didn't get a BFP and then once AF arrived I was fine and felt like I could move on to next month. Also with your first pregnancy you caught first time, so I don't think it is going to take you long at all to catch again. Besides, you're not out until AF shows anyway! Keep smiling. It will happen x

Mum637k · 20/03/2019 19:38

@Pop1234 thanks 😊 When is your early scan?

@Mum637k I do know what you're feeling, last cycle I was so gutted when I thought I was having implantation bleeding because I wasn't due for 6 days, and then I got the AF cramps early morning it just suddenly went so heavy that afternoon, I sat in the bathroom at work and cried for a little while. But then, same as @Pop1234 I just thought well I'm only two cycles in, went out to Superdrug and bought a 10pack of digital opks, and waited for AF to f*ck off and started with the OPKs on cycle day 8, LH surge detected at cycle day 13, and then my BFP on cycle day 24, but seriously it was so so faint, and that was with fmu. Got to resist the urge and wait for the morning wee!

Pop1234 · 20/03/2019 20:33

@Mum637k hope you are ok. Honestly don't be hard on yourself.

It is 3 weeks today x

Mum637k · 21/03/2019 07:14

@Pop1234 @Katy85 thanks ladies for all the advice 😊 I did waitnfor fmu this morning and unfortunately it gave me a clear indication I am not pregnant.completely white. The one good thing about the wait is that I can get to know my cycle because I am not sure about my ovulation days as they seem to vary so far 🙈 I guess there is something good in everything! @Pop1234 hope the scan goes well!!!! I am so happy for you both 💗 check in every once a while so I can smile 😁

@Mum637k just relax and enjoy it. I know exactly how you feel though. Have you been taking your folic acid etc?

Thank you. I don't think I'll feel relaxed until
I've got a baby in my arms. But one day at a time is what I'm doing.

Mum637k · 21/03/2019 08:11

@Pop1234 yes I'm taking pregnacare vitamins from conception through pregnancy. I will probably be the same as you as only relax once the baby is in my arms 😂 Im going to try to rewire my brain and expect it to take a number months rather than expecting it to happen quickly. It would help if I could convince myself

@Mum637k remember you're not out til AF shows, so still hope, it's only Thursday!
I don't know your age, but when I read that women over 30 can get their LH surge and ovulate the same day, and you don't know how long the egg is viable for, that's when I got the OPKs, the window is really tight! Had I not used them, I would've thought I was due to ovulate on the 3rd, and I would've missed the window again this month because it actually happened on the 2nd. So if, IF!, AF shows on Monday then just relax, I would advocate digital opks, the clearblue advanced aren't cheap but they've done the trick for us first time using them. Anyway you still have four days before AF!

Katy85 · 21/03/2019 09:54

@Pop1234 good luck with your scan! I'm going to try and get a doctors appointment tomorrow morning, they've been booked all week but I work from home on Fridays so I'll have to get an "on the day" appointment.
I still can't relax though, I just take every day that passes without issue as a blessing.

Pop1234 · 22/03/2019 10:02

@Katy85 did you get a gp appointment?

@Mum637k how are you doing?

SunnyL88 · 22/03/2019 10:15

I’m still waiting for af- due today but had pms for a week now. Not feeling hopeful re bfp even though I’ve poas for the last three days ☹️

Mum637k · 22/03/2019 10:19

@Pop1234 I'm okay today, just patiently waiting for AF to show on Monday. I expect it to be a big b* and possibly show late. Just to mess with me 😂 but I think I have come to terms with it showing this month. I'm just working on accepting that it could take a long time this time around. It's hard to get comfortable with the unknown but I'm working on it. How are you doing??😊

OP posts:
Mum637k · 22/03/2019 10:20

@SunnyL88 how late are you?

OP posts:
SunnyL88 · 22/03/2019 11:03

@Mum637k- technically I’m not. I’m due today or tomorrow x

Mum637k · 22/03/2019 11:31

@SunnyL88 oooh fingers crossed for you!!😊

OP posts:
Katy85 · 22/03/2019 13:57

@Pop1234 yeah I got in ok this morning, got my midwife appointment booked in for April 9th.

@Mum637k I'll still say you're not out til AF, and if that happens then we're still here to support you x

@SunnyL88 fingers crossed, what would your normal pre-AF symptoms be?

SunnyL88 · 22/03/2019 14:40

@Katy85 - pretty much this, sore boobs, spotty, left side cramps. The only thing different this time is watery cm (sorry tmi) but also my prolactin level is higher than last af so highly unlikely it’s due to a possible bfp xx

Mum637k · 22/03/2019 14:55

@Katy85 thanks so much, I really appreciate that! 😊 I will keep you updated. How are you feeling, what are your symptoms now?

OP posts:
Mum637k · 22/03/2019 15:07

@Katy85 did you use those pink colour clear blue ov tests?

OP posts:
Katy85 · 22/03/2019 19:49

@Mum637k I've been alright today, no symptoms at all, very hungry though, I've been raiding the fridge all day!
I used these ones www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-Advanced-Digital-Ovulation-package/dp/B00BSNL778/ref=sr_1_4?s=gateway&keywords=Clearblue+digital+ovulation+test+10&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1553284076&sr=8-4 because they detect the estrogen first which is the start of your fertile window, and then the LH surge

Katy85 · 22/03/2019 19:57

I went through 9 of the tests in total, I didn't start using them til cycle day 8, I used one every morning first thing and it picked up the estrogen at cycle day 10. I carried on with only one test per morning for two more days, then switched it up to two (morning and early afternoon) per day. On the second day of doing that (CD13) it picked up the LH surge on the afternoon test and Im 99% sure i ovulated that same evening. So glad I did the second test, because otherwise I think we would've missed the window again

Pinksunset1 · 22/03/2019 23:00

Just update AF has came that made my cycle 68 days longest cycle yet it’s hard with irregular AF have been using tracker on phone but my body’s a mess at minute. @katy85 hope it’s same as first time x
